Well, it was just yesterday that that there magician rolled into town, and I went ahead and encouraged my gal, Rose, to step right up and volunteer.

She wasn’t too keen on it at first, but I knew she was smitten on me, so I figured she’d come 'round to it eventually.

What she didn’t know was she was signin' up for that new sawin’ a lady in half trick.

'Cept there weren't no trick to it.

See, he sure enough sawed her clean in half, and since I slipped him a little extra coin, there weren’t no need to be puttin’ her back together again.

'Cept Rose didn’t see it that way.

Now here she is, all flustered, tryin’ to figure out how to get her bottom half back.

But I git too much fun at home now to put up with all that yappin'
