Alice is about to learn that if she doesn't buy a car she will be the car. (This story is in early access on my Patreon and will come to DA on Sept 25th.)

“So, Alice, how do you like Mustangs?”

“I would love to own one, but I think it’s out of my price range.  I am a starving artist.”  She sighed.  “I mean, it’s why I doubt I can even afford anything tonight.”

“Nonsense.  I guarantee you will roll out with a Mustang of your very own.”  Jane led Alice into a garage vacant of any vehicles.  “Now, trust me, you will just love it.”

“But there is nothing here.  Are you sure this isn’t some kind of scam?”

“Oh, no scam.”  Jane pulled out a needle.  “Besides, I think you should know.”  She twisted around and stuck the syringe into Alice’s arm, plunging a strange grey liquid into her body.  “We don’t tolerate people who can’t pay for our cars.”
