              “It is going to be a fun time at the convention.  Just you wait and see.”

              Sara smiled.  “It will just be fun to spend time with you.”

              “What?”

              “Nothing.”  Sara hid the gum in her pocket.  “So, where is our room?”

              “Oh, that?”  Alice smiled.  “It’s on the thirty-first floor.  I already have it paid for and have our bags up there.  Come on, you will love it.  There is a view of the city and everything.”

              Sara smiled. “Oh, hey, before we get on the elevator, I want to give you something.”  She held out a stick of gum. “As a thank you for taking me along on this trip,” she smiled.

              “Oh, thank you.”  Alice took the gum and unwrapped it.  “Mhhhm.  Smells like blueberries.  I love it.”  She tossed it into her mouth and began to chew.  “Now come on.  We are wasting daylight.”

              “Yes.  Yes, we are.”  Sara smiled and lowered her voice.  “My wonderful blueberry.”

              “What are you talking about?”  Alice arched an eyebrow as they walked up to the elevator.

              “Oh, nothing.”  Sara giggled.  “Now come on.  We don’t want to be late, do we?”
