The blueberry virus is spreading throughout the hospital.  (This story is only on my Patreon all-access tier.)

“What? You are hysterical.” She rolled her eyes as she shook herself free. “Now I have a job to do. Stop trying to get in my way already.”

“But. . .” He sighed as he watched her go. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you when you swell into a giant blueberry.”

Emma rolled her eyes as she put her hands into her pockets. “I am going to have to talk to someone about him. If he is going to go around acting that way, he is going to turn his hospital into a scare ward. I mean, we have kids that come here, for god’s sake. They can’t. . .” She blinked her blue eyes as she turned the corner. “Hey, where is everyone? I should have seen someone by now.” Emma looked down at the floor, noticing sticky blue liquid trailing towards the east wing. “That is strange.”

She knelt down and ran her finger in the liquid. “Hmm, this isn’t any type of medical liquid I know of. Maybe some of the kitchen staff had an accident.” She sniffed her finger. “Most likely. This reeks of blueberries.” Emma stood up and wiped the juice on her coat, staining it blue. “I am guessing that is why Beck was freaking out over blueberries.” She laughed. “He always did scare easily.”
