Christen is swelling up like a blueberry again. Sheesh how many times is this now? But this time she is stuck on live television. Oh, what nonsense this is. (This story is currently in early access on my Patreon and will come to DA on Feb 28th)
Christen slammed her juice-filled hand on Greg’s shoulder as he dragged her across the hallway. “This is absurd. You can’t just put me on air because I have juice swelling inside of me. Let me go.”
He laughed. “Why not? You will do great. Besides, we need first-hand coverage of the blueberry virus that has been plaguing our town.”
“Virus? Who said it was a virus?”
“Virus? Bug. Strange affliction that is caused when you look at the sun in the wrong way. Who the hell cares at this point.” He slapped Christen’s juice-filled belly. “All I know is you are great for ratings. I mean, last time this happened, our news station and our town were put on the map.” A wicked smile formed on his face. “And it is going to happen again. Oh, I can’t wait to see those big wigs in the major news networks talk about me. I will be all the rage.”
Christen waved her hands as her blouse pressed against her body. “Wait, wait, wait. Last time?” Gurrrglgglgle. She moaned as the juice bubbling inside of her bubbled and traveled up toward her face. “Ughhh.” As she rubbed her expanding cheeks, she said, “How can you try and take advantage of a situation like this? Did you do this to your last co-worker?”
Greg smirked as he pulled her into the newsroom. “She didn’t understand. I did what I did for the ratings. If she had been more careful and not gotten herself, all big and blue, none of that would have happened.” He walked behind Christen and pushed her toward the wooden desk in the middle of the room. “Ughh, you are starting to get heavy.”
