Sandra is about to experience a Super Moon.  There is a rumor that a super moon can cause some kind of growth in people, but it is only a rumor.  (This story was the monthly voted story on my Patreon and is in early access on my Supporter tier.  It will come to DA on April 22nd)

              Tonya turned her head as she approached. “So, do you know where we are going?”

              “We just make our way out of the suburbs and towards the Temberline National Forest. I don’t know from there.” She shrugged. “All Ben said is we follow the trail to the campsite. I do wish he would have sent a map instead of just word of mouth directions.”

              “The moonlight sure is bright tonight.” Tonya held her arm over her head. “What is going on?”

              Sandra shrugged her shoulders. “Someone on the news called it a super moon or some bull crap like that. Some rare occurrence. All I know is that is going to keep me up all night.”

              “Ya. It sure is weird, though.” Tonya hugged herself. “Do you feel weird?”

              Sandra shook her head. “No, why?”

              “I don’t know. I just kind of feel a little bit odd.” She blinked her eyes as she looked up at the moon. “Kind of tingly almost.”

              Sandra laughed. “That sounds a bit crazy. How can you feel odd and tingly from just looking at the moon?” She turned her head. “Tonya? Hey, are you alright? Tonya!”

She grabbed her arms and shook her out of her trance. “Hey, listen to me.”
