My third chapter in this size changing world I am creating is up on my Patreon.

              Alicila shook her head as she squeezed between the trees.  “They were pleasant.”  She rolled her eyes.  “Where am I going to go if everyone is just going to shoot at me?”  She looked behind her.  “At least out running them is easy.  These long legs are good for something.  Ouff.”

              She fell flat on her face as she tripped over a boulder. “Oww.”  She pushed herself off the ground and pulled a deer out from under her body. "Well, that is unfortunate.” She sighed. “But I guess it is one way to earn my lunch for the day.  Ewww.” She picked the crushed deer up and carried it off into the forest. “I just need to cook it now. First, though, I need to get far enough away from that angry couple so I can make a fire and eat.

              She kept walking until she came upon a giant blue ball just sitting in the center of a glade.  “Huh?”  Alicila threw her smashed deer onto the grass.  “What in the world is that?”  She walked up and touched the massive round sphere which came up to her waist. “Weird.”  Her finger pressed down and caused a deep purple coloration to appear. “Wonder where this thing came from.” She shrugged.  “Well, I can figure it out later.”
