              Carien looked at Tess. “What is the name of the store? I want to buy some of this myself.”

              Tess put her hand on her chin. “Potions R’Us.”

              Carien laughed. “What a strange store name.”

              “I know, right. They deal with weird things. I had to make sure and buy the right thing from there this time.”

              “Why?” Pam asked. “Why would you have to be careful when making a purchase in a store for a pie like this?”

              Tess shrugged, her dark hair falling down from her shoulders. “Well, last time I was there, they forced a strange potion on me that well made me grow. They sell weird things there. So I didn’t want to make the same mistake this time.”

              Sarah narrowed her eyes. “Make you grow? What do you mean by that? What did you buy for me?”

              Tess waved her arms as her nose began to turn blue. “The lady assured me that these blueberry pies were tasty and filling.”

              Sarah stood up. “Oh, they are more than filling.”

              Tess looked around. “Why are you all staring at me?”
