Sarah is trying to figure out why she grows and shrinks without rhythm and reason with an appointment at a trusted doctor.  Hopefully she can make it though said appointment without growing.  This is the 19 story in my Fredricks Fancy series.  (This story is no longer cannon.  I am going to be making some different changes in the series then what happens in this story.)

Giantess Diagnosis

I sat patiently in the waiting room of Doctor Kathrine Velsn’s office, tapping my hand on my leg. This was a trusted friend of Carien’s who said she would look into the issues I was having with my unexplained growing, shrinking, and transformations. Even though Velsn said that she wasn’t sure what she could figure out, Velsn assured me she would do everything she could to get to the bottom of this mystery and keep things confidential. I didn’t want any of this getting back to the Fredricks Fancy company, who seemed to want to lock me away because of a contract that I signed.

A few days ago, I had a blood test done, and today we were going to review the results. Velsn said that there was some exciting news, but she had to share it in person with me.

I sighed and looked around the waiting room. I was the only one here; it was the end of the workday, so the other patient was already being seen. There was a lovely floral pattern on the walls, and the floor had a blue carpet that matched my leggings. I ran my hand through my hair.  Calm down. This will all be ok. No need to stress out until you hear what the doctor has to say.

I put my hands back down on my jacket. I did hope that I had some good news. Just this week, I had shrunk to the size of a doll when trying to get out of the shower on Monday and grown three times my size on Wednesday when taking out the garbage for Carien. I had to sleep outside that night. These size changes were becoming too obnoxious in my day-to-day life.

The nurse opened the door. He was a young man with curly blonde hair and green eyes.

“Ms. Collinsworth?”

I stood up, the only person in the room. The man held the door open for me. “We are going to go to examine room A today.” I followed him to a small room with a few chairs and a sheeted bed. A few medical pictures lined the walls, and a ribbon design of lighthouses ringing around the room near the ceiling. “You can sit where ever you wish. I just need your pulse and vitals, and I can tell doctor Velsn you are here.”

I proceeded to wait as he took my vitals, staring up at the ceiling.   I took a deep breath to calm my nerves. I never liked going through these types of processes.

“Ok, you are all good. I will tell Velsn you are here and waiting.” He went to the door. “It should only be a few minutes. Sit tight.”

I sighed.  More waiting.  I stood up and began to pace.  This better be some good news.

There better be some pill I can take or something to keep this from happening to me. I mean, if I can take some joint relief medication to make my neck grow, there has to be some medication to keep me from growing right.   I sighed.  But I doubt it will be that easy. Nothing about this has ever been that easy.

There was a tap at the door, and then Velsn walked in. She had short black hair and wore a white jacket and blue pants. “Hello, again, Sarah.”

I smiled. “Hello, Kathrine. How has your day been?”

“Long and tedious. I am happy that I get to go home soon.” She walked over to the computer in the corner of the room. “Now your vitals look good.”

I nodded. “Yes, yes, can we get on to the test results?”

Kathrine sighed and looked at me. “I know you must be anxious, but please keep calm. We will get to your results shortly.” She turned back to her computer. “Have you experienced any strange transformations in the last week?”

“Yes, I umm, had a shrinking and growing incident just this week.”

              “Was this you’re doing?”

              I shook my head.

Kathrine turned and put her hands in her lap. “I am not sure exactly how to say this.

Your lab results were unexpected.”

              “What do you mean?”

“All of your numbers were in flux. I had never seen anything like it. I couldn’t get an accurate reading as your blood was changing before my eyes. Not by much, but it was still altering itself. I don’t know if I am even capable of figuring this out.” She shook her head. “It is very perplexing.”

I sighed. “Ok, but is there anything that I can do to fix this. Is there anything you learned?”

“From what I gathered, the alterations seem more likely to happen when we introduced stress into the environment. It wasn’t until after the test was “over” that your numbers stopped fluctuating like crazy.”

              “So what are you saying?”

“I am saying based off of what little I know as of now, try to avoid stressful situations as I feel that might exasperate your condition. Beyond that, I feel you need to see a specialist in some magical craziness, as this is just too nuts to be believed. I almost think you are mutating or something.”

I took a deep breath in. “Avoid stress. Just how am I supposed to do that? I am changing size out of control?”

She stood up. “You need to find a way how. But it isn’t my job to figure it out for you.”

My hands began to shake. “I just wish I had better news than this.”

“Look, Sarah, if you want, I can look into a specialist for you. But I can’t make any promises.”

“But. . .” I couldn’t stop shaking my hands. Suddenly I began to grow.

Kathrine stared at me. “Sarah, calm down.”

I took deep breaths in and out.” I am trying, but I just. Ugh, my clothes are getting tight.”

Kathrine walked over to the door and opened it. “Sarah, I am locking you in here until you calm down.”

“What?” She closed the door before I could stop her. As I pulled on the shrinking door handle, I heard a click. “Hey, let me out of here.”

“Take this time to calm down.”

“You don’t even know if that is what is doing this to me. It is your theory. You can’t lock me in here based on a theory. Besides, I could outgrow your office.” I slammed my fist on the side of her door. “Let me out. Hello?”

My head hit the ceiling, forcing me to bend over. My toes broke through my shoes, and the rest of my clothing became skin-tight. I sat down, causing the bed to flip as my rear end hit the edge. I crossed my arms. “Why can’t I ever grow or shrink when I can just enjoy this. I enjoy the feeling it’s just becoming stuck in a doctor’s office sucks.” I sighed as my feet pushed the bed against the wall. “I wish I could have a vacation where I could just change in size for fun and not worry about whose building I wrecked or what job I am in peril of losing or being on television.” I ran my fingers across my body. “Because I love this feeling.”

I pushed the chairs against the wall with my feet as my arms press against the sides of the room, knocking over the cabinets. I watched as my shoes finally shattered along with the chairs. The buttons on my jacket began to burst off my body. They hit the lighthouses that ringed around the top of the room. I raised my left leg and pressed it against the door. “Let me out before I knocked this door down.”

I still didn’t hear an answer. “Well, I guess I am breaking down your practice then.”

I pushed with all my might and flattened the door, my leg propelling through the hallway and into the next room where my foot became stuck. I put my hands on the ground as the last button snapped off my body, and my jacket opened up, trying to free my leg. “Damnit all.” I arched my back as my head hit the ceiling once more. “I need to push my way out of here fast.”

I tried to use my elbows against the walls, but I had no room to move. I became stuck in a cross-armed position as my clothing further ripped and the walls began to groan around me. “This is the worst part of growing. When I am big but not big enough to push my way out of a room. And wow, are my leggings stretching.”

Suddenly I was able to sit up, my head bursting through the ceiling. My arms found the strength to push through the walls around me, and my legs slowly continued their way through the building. My jacket finally gave out, ripping in two and the right pant leg of my leggings tore off; the left was just on the verge of shredding. My bra was skin tight, I could feel my nipples poking through the fabric, and my undergarments pressed up against my skin like a thong.

I sighed. “Well, at least I have more room now.” I looked around to see a nurse holding onto a bed while staring at me wide-eyed, her blonde hair covering her face. I dipped my head in a slight bow. “Hello there. Sorry to bother you.”

“I was supposed to draw Mr. Anderson’s blood in here.

What is going on? Why is there a giant growing naked lady here?”

My shoulders pushed their way into the room. “Umm, I had a bad reaction to a pill?”

The nurse went wide eyes. “I am not working here anymore.” She jumped off of her perch onto my right breast and up to the door of the room. “This is nuts. I just had to use some lady's breast as a trampoline. I need to go home.”

“Have a nice day.” I winced as I felt my feet push through yet another wall. My leggings shattered off my body as my arms found the crisp air of freedom. My bra snapped off as my head hit yet another celling. “This is getting obnoxious. How many floors does this place have? Let me out.”

I slammed my fist against the side of the building, causing it to shake. I kicked out with my right leg and felt some of the building crumble as my head pushed its way to the third floor. Still, it wasn’t enough to free me of my confines.

Suddenly I felt something pull at my hair. “Where did this giant head come from?”

I shook my head, and yet another body fell in front of my eyes. This time it was a man in a wheel chair. “Hey look buddy. Don’t freak out.”

He took one look at the drink in his hand. “What do they put in the water here?” He then turned around and wheeled away.

 “Well that went well.”

My arms were finally long enough to feel the solid pavement. I planted them firmly on the ground and pushed. “I am sorry to anyone that is still inside the building, but I need to get out of here.” The foundation groaned and shook, dust and derbies falling all around me. Suddenly whole sections of the building gave way, and I jumped up, free at least.

“Finally.” I brushed the last bits of the building off of my body, a section of the floor taking my undergarments with it. “Well, at least I am free.” I looked at the shrinking landscape around me. “Though I am not done growing, it seems.” I rubbed my hands along my hips. “At least I get this pleasurable feeling a little while longer.”

I heard sirens coming down the road. I watched as a fire truck and a few police vehicles appeared on the scene, all the size of toy cars. I bent over as the emergency crew members stepped out. “I am sorry about the mess.”

The tiny chief pointed his gun at me. “Put your hands in the air.”

I narrowed my eyes at him. “Excuse me?”

“You are coming downtown.” I could barely see him gulp. “You can’t just destroy a building like this and get away with it.”

I stood to my full height, coming up to a good seventy feet. “Do you really think you can take me in? Look at how gigantic I am. And I am still growing.” I pushed one of the police cars with my toe. “Now I am sorry for the damages, and I will help rebuild this office later on, but you can’t really expect to take me in.”

A rope was shot from the fire truck and wrapped around my wrist, pulling me to the ground. The signs on the vehicles then gave way to reveal a Fredricks Fancy sign. “You have got to be kidding me.”

“Come along quietly, Sarah. No one has to know what is going on.”

I pulled at the rope, but it held firm.  What is this made of?  I used my free arm to grab the truck and rip out the device that held the rope in place.

              “Hey, don’t do that.”

“Sorry, but you aren’t keeping me here.”

I stood up with my new wrist band dangling from my body and ran into town. I made sure not to step on any cars, moving through downtown and into the country. I had to put as much distance between me and the Fredricks Fancy goons as I could. Thankfully I was done growing, stopping at a good one hundred feet tall.

I kept running until I made it back to Carien’s house. There I sat down in the driveway, stretching out. This was the same place that I had slept when I had grown a few nights before into a giantess. “Well, now I have to wait to shrink back down. It sucks that Fredricks Fancy is chasing me like this. I wonder why they want me so bad.”

I sighed. “I guess it doesn’t matter at this moment. Still, I learned a bit about why this stuff is happening, I guess. I just need to keep calm.”

I took a deep breath. “Right. Like that will be easy.”
