"Hey, you have the new flat in order?" Janet asked me as I walked into her place.
"Not quite, market is still shit at the moment. It'll slow down some day."

She looked at my bag.

"You went thrifting again?"
"Of course."

I laid it all out, two sweaters, a pair of circular sunglasses with a missing lens, a wallet and a large blanket with a nice pattern.

"Looks like junk." She smiled.
"Hey, I'll have you know half the stuff I wear doesn't cost more than a few quid."
"Ah, you're sooo cheap." She laughed.
"More like frugal."
"At least the sweaters are nice. The wallet looks pretty warn down."
"Nah, it'll hold. And how about this throw? I figured you'd like it."

Janet held it up.
"Actually... It's actually quite lovely."
"And you wouldn't have found it in a regular store either." I gloated.
"It's lovely Matt, thanks." She folded it against her chest and kissed me.
