A young woman finds a genie. Given that he is thousands of years old, she figures that she has to be quite particular in what she wishes for, lest her wish goes wrong. Recently, she had gotten jealous of one of her friends, who seems to always get the best in life. So, she decides to 'walk a mile in her shoes.' However, she doesn't wish it as such, figuring that the genie will transform her into her shoes. So, she wishes to 'walk a mile in her socks', figuring that that'll work. Instead, she is transformed into one of her friend's socks, who is unaware of her. The young woman is beyond angry, espeically since, given her inanimate-form, she can't even say another wish.
