Hello, it's been a while. I hope everyone's doing well. I'm not officially back, just posting my half of a trade I recently did with @OhUhIDunno. I hope you enjoy regardless.

Oh's half:

Ever since joining the cast of Chicago, Emma thought she’d be indispensable. She was the main star of the show, and with her acting talents, she’d better be.

For the first couple of months of the run, she was, up until Kimberley needed some new high heels. For whatever reason, her costar kept managing to break her footwear.

Whether by breaking their heels, ripping their straps, or denting their toes, she just couldn’t stop damaging them. It got to a point where it started to affect the budget of the production.

At that point, the director of the show decided it was time to do some clever accounting. With Emma’s high fee and all, it was about time he replaced the lead.

Plus, using her, he could fix Kim’s shoe problem. With this in mind, he went to talk to Emma about it.

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Despite having been a heel for almost two weeks now, she had yet to fully get used to it. I mean, it was just a shock in itself for her to be squished and molded into this form, let alone experience it.

And experience she did, night after pounding night. Being a high heel meant that for the entirety of the show, she was beaten into the ground over and over again.

After some particularly bad nights, she’d get quite a killer headache. What made it worse was that she could feel Kim’s foot within her.

Her castmate's sole would fill her insides and rub against it. In a way, it felt good, at least in a sense that felt better than the pain of being stepped on and danced in.

The latter was quite the feeling. She’d be dragged, stomped, and in constant contact with the theater's dirty stage. By the end of most nights, she’d be covered in dirt and various debris.

The end of each show was always her least favorite part, it was when she’d be buffed. As she was worn, parts of her would gradually start to pop out, reform as it were.

It was the job of the costume department to fix this. They’d do so by

buffing her, making her heeled body as smooth as possible, in effect trapping her form.

The more she was buffed, the more cohesive her new form got. That and she started to develop a sort of black tinge, as the other heel would be fixed before she was, its paint rubbing off on her.

The director had to admit, it was quite a smart idea to replace Emma. I mean, now the production was saving money, and he had solved Kim’s heel problem.

The former star made quite the heel, neigh indistructible, probably due to her being a person. There was just one thing: she stood out too much.

Despite all that he did with the lighting, it was pretty obvious that Kim’s heels were made out of two different materials. Although that wasn’t going to be a problem for long.

In a few days, he was going to bring Emma to an actual cobbler to make her indistinguishable from the other heel. In short order, Emma the former actress, would soon just be Emma the heel.
