Slipping her on, Lindsey couldn’t believe that all she got out of this date was a pair of flats. On most dates she’d go on she’d often get some new clothes, some new makeup, maybe even some jewelry, but no, not on this one. This date had to be unique, she couldn’t even say it was worth it.
Getting a new pair of flats was definitely not worth going out with someone she never found attractive. Hell, she didn’t even make for a nice-looking pair. She wasn’t a solid color, no, she was a red and white polka-dotted pair, quite garish for Lindsey’s taste. Still, that didn’t mean she wasn’t going to wear her.
Her date could still be comfortable after all, hell, she probably would make for a better pair of shoes than a person. If she didn’t feel good, then she wouldn't mind donating her. In that case, it’d been better than condemning her to a life in the back of her shoe closet.
Finished with putting her on, she took note of her comfort. This was when she’d weed out the best clothing from the average. Stomping her foot in she tried to gauge how good she felt. Undecided about it, she stood up and walked around a bit. Finally, she came to her conclusion.
Her new flats were better as shoes than she was as a human. She was quite comfortable, almost as if her insoles were giving her feet a massage. Tapping her foot in her she took note to see how she reacted. No reaction, that meant her date was truly intimate.
The best human-turned-clothing was like that. In their new forms, they were indistinguishable from similar objects, with no traits of their human past. The only people who’d know they’d been human were Lindsey and the object itself. She also took note of how she fit. Her date wasn’t too tight, nor too loose.
Not only was she comfortable but she fit really nicely too. In fact, it looked as if she made a perfect pair of shoes. The longer she wore her the more she truly realized how worth it this was. Sure, she only got a pair of shoes out of this date, but they were an incredible pair of flats. Her date was soon to become a favorite pair, whether she liked it or not.
