“Okay, I am ready. How was your experience as my loafer today, Maggie?”
“Different. It was sweatier than I imagined, but then again, it was a hot day and you’ve been constantly walking so…It’s also been pretty uncomfortable to be walked on, I can’t really prepare myself to be slammed into the ground. Also, could you do something for me?”
“What?”
“Could you take me off and set me beside you? This might be the only break you give me today and I want to spend it without a foot in me.”
“Normally I would do that but I don’t want to look like a barefooted creep. Plus I don’t want one of those foot freaks staring at me.”
“You would have me off for only a few minutes, which is not enough time for one of them to notice you. Besides, you're dangling me now which allows for people to see your bare sole.”
“Playing the smart aleck huh? Y’know I could easily not transform you back.”
“You wouldn’t, we still have our research to finish plus my name’s already on what we’ve completed.”
“Yes, we do and if you keep acting like this your name might just be removed and I might forget about you. And, oh yeah, this is the only break you’re getting today.”
“Alright, I’ll stop. Do you want me to tell you more of my experience thus far?”
“No, I’ve got to walk off some steam because of you.”
