Simon and Lydia were a happy couple, soon to be married. So close to being so they only had one day before they were to read their marriage vows.
Everyone seemed to think that they worked well together, well everyone but Lydia’s sister Valerie. She positively disliked Simon and thought that her sister was wasting her time loving him.
Having been staying over at Lydia's home, Valerie was constantly seeing him. Each time the two were left alone she would always tell him how much she hated him and such. Now, with one day before he became a permanent fixture in their family, she had to do something.
Relaxing in the living room, she was giving him dirty looks while he and her sister watched a movie. After the movie finished Lydia left the room and now was the time for Valerie to strike.
“God, I’ve always hated you. You never deserved my sister, she’s too good for you. Although, what I’m about to do to you is going to bring you guys closer to each other, real close.” Before he had time to respond Valerie recited a spell and then Simon was gone.
“Good, the spell worked.” Looking around the living room she noticed how all of the photos with Simon in them started to vanish. You see, part of the spell was so that it would seem as if Simon no longer existed, at least as a person.
Reentering the living room with her sneakers in hand, Lydia asked her sister: “Hey, wanna go for a run?” Emitting from one of her feet was a voice that only Valerie could hear. A man’s voice, Simon’s.
The spell didn’t get rid of him, it just altered his form. Now, he is just a hyper-sensitive foot with the memories of what he once was. Smirking to herself, hearing his begging for help, she looked up at her sister. “Yes,” she replied.
