“So what did you want to see me about?” asked Clara
“It’s about your sister and where she went off to…” said Lily, sheepishly
“What, do you know where she is?! I haven’t seen or heard from her in two weeks!”
“Well….to cut to the chase….she’s down here.” replied Lily, lifting her feet up onto the table in front of her, slowly. She outstretched her feet, showing her socked soles to Clara.
“I don’t understand.” Clara said looking at her friend’s socks, puzzled. “...Wait! Are you trying to tell me my sister is now your socks?! How did this happen?! Why is she so dirty?! Can she be transformed back into a human?!”
“Yes…she is now a pair of socks. Well…she…I was practicing some new spells and she was staying over for the night, and she was accidentally hit by a clothing transformation spell. I didn’t mean for it to hit her, she was just in the way. Why is she so dirty, well, to tell you the truth I’ve been wearing her since she was transformed. So yes, she’s been on my feet for…2 whole weeks. Even when I…went to the gym…and while jogging. I didn’t want to lose her, so I figured if I wore her then I’d know exactly where she was. I’ve been trying to find a reversal spell but I haven’t had any luck so far. I’m truly sorry about this.”
“Give her to me until you find the reversal spell!”
“No, I feel like you’d lose her. Plus me keeping her allows her to be transformed back into a human quicker, at least when I find the spell.”
“Ok, I don’t agree with you but I understand. Just try to keep her clean, she’s filthy right now.”
