Natsuki Nakano is Hikari’s best friend and confidant. Since they were children, the two have been inseparable, and when Hikari gained her powers the thought of hiding them from Natsuki never even crossed her mind - her first thought was “You, me, flying, right now”. Since then, Natsuki has kept that secret perfectly, and been by Hikari’s side supporting her however she could. True, it was dangerous for a mundane person, even if she stayed back - more than once she’d been transformed, sometimes by villains trying to get at Hikari, or by Hikari herself under a villain’s control. Which… she honestly didn’t mind. She has a bit of a kink for it in fact. 

This might have some impact on how she took Hikari’s seemingly long term possession by Izanami. Even the threat of Hikari semi-regularly turning into a dominating villainess didn’t keep her away. Natsuki has an… interesting relationship with Izanami. Namely, she pretty much performs the same role in her villainous plans as in Hikari’s heroic ones - research, planning, and backline support via magical items. She is usually turned by Izanami within the hour of taking control, and she delights in aiding her mistress however she asks! And the more drastic her transformation, the better, and she loves if there’s a mental component. Izanami and Hikari are both… confused, but Izanami’s not one to turn down a minion, and well, Hikari thinks she might rub off on Izanami. 

In short, wherever Hikari’s body is, Natsuki’s not far behind, whether as BFF or loving minion.
