“I’ve never been to a farm before.” Hikari said. “I’m kind of excited, actually.”

“They’re nothing special.” Akemi said. “My grandparents on my mother’s side have a farm. I’ve visited a few times.”

“Don’t be a killjoy, Akemi.” Natsuki politely chided.

“Why are you even here, Natsuki?” The veteran magical girl grumbled. “You’re not even an official Magical Girl. Even Soma back there has more reason than you do.”

“Oh, who cares? The more the merrier!” Soma said cheerfully. “It’s nice to have something so simple for the internship…”

“What’s up with that, anyway? I joined a bit late so I didn’t hear it. Something about America?” Natsuki asked.

“Oh, yeah,” Soma said, rubbing the back of her head. “I’m, uh, a transfer from the USA. After I figured out my powers the school I went to for them suggested I do some live training in Matsushita City. After all, it’s got the highest rate of magical activity in the world.”

“I’ll have to ask you about America sometime! Formal hero schools sound interesting.” Hikari said cheerfully. Then, she went a bit quieter. “What about you, Izanami? Any farms where you’re from?”

“Do you count rows of magical livestock cloning vats as farms?” Izanami asked in Hikari’s head. “No. That aside, something’s odd about this Soma character. Be on your toes, we share this body and I for one don’t like the feeling of a backstab.”

“You’re as paranoid as ever…”

“It’s not paranoia if I’m usually right.”

“It is if you’re right because you say that about everyone.”

The quartet (or quintet if one counted Izanami and Hikari separately) were near the Northern edge of the artificial island that Matsushita was built on, in the region that was designated for food production. It was as close to rural as you would get on the massive man-made landmass. And Magical Girls had been going missing there.

Of course, with the high-hazard job they maintained, Magical Girls going missing was nothing unusual. It was stressful and scary for those close to them, but they usually popped up as a minion not long afterwards (or in some cases as a villain, which at least let you know what had happened to them) and could be defeated and recovered. But these last few cases hadn’t turned up yet. So a pair of high level magical girls were sent to investigate, along with a newbie on a training mission. They’d stopped in the nearby “town” (more of a suburb of Matsushita City, really) and asked around, and been told by the locals that they had seen a lot of Magical Girls lately, but they weren’t sure where they’d gone. So now the team was heading to check the farms, see if any were covers for something shady.

They decided that if any farm was going to be used as a shady base of operations, it would be one far from other people - so they’d gone to the most isolated farm in the area first. As they approached the farm, they saw grazing cows well before they saw any buildings, tended by farmhands. “Looks like we’re heading the right way.” Soma said, gesturing for the others to hurry up.

Not long after, they saw the farm, the sign over the gate proudly declaring itself “North Matsushita Farm”. Before they’d even entered, they were approached by a pair of blonde, full figured women in jeans and halter tops. “Welcome to the best farm on the island!” one of them said cheerfully, in English. While Matsushita was founded by a Japanese man, it’s unofficial status as an international city meant English was nearly as commonly spoken as Japanese. “What’cha lookin’ for round here? We get some visitors, but usually young girls like yourselves aren’t all that interested in a farm.”

“Hello!” Hikari said cheerfully. “The sign says this is Northern Matsushita farm, right?” She fumbled around in her pockets for a bit before (with Izanami directing her to the right pocket) she found her wallet, and the official Magical Girl Association ID card that was in it. It carried much the same authority as a police badge, albeit with the caveat of searching for specifically supernatural threats. Hikari coughed and put on a more formal tone - or at least as close as she could make it. “We would like to speak with the owner of this farm.”

“Very authoritative, very convincing.” Izanami said dryly.

Akemi sighed as the women looked between each other. “...To be clear for my… colleague,” she said, “That’s not a request. You’re not under suspicion or anything, but we do have to speak with the owner of this establishment.”

“There we go. Someone who knows what she’s doing.” Izanami said. Hikari rolled her eyes at that.

“Sure,” the woman who hadn’t spoken yet said. “He’s just up at the house. This way, darlings, we’ll show ya to ‘im.”

The women brought the Magical Girls (and friend) to the house. It was a fairly big one - it must have been a successful farm. One of the farmhands knocked on the door. “Hey, boss! Got some Magical Girls saying they wanna talk to ya!” she shouted.

“One minute!” A gruff voice from inside said. There was a stomping sound as the owner came to the door and opened it. He was a tall man, towering over the farmhands and the magical girls alike, and built like a brick house. He looked down at the Magical Girls. While there was nothing unkind in his expression, something about him made Akemi scowl.

As if sensing this, the man stepped aside from the door with a practiced smile. “Welcome to my humble abode, agents of justice. My name’s Albert. You can call me ‘Big Al’ though, everyone else does.” he said in a friendly tone. The moniker made Akemi roll her eyes, although Hikari and Soma both stood up a bit straighter. “If I’m gonna host, I’m gonna do it right. Can I get you girls anything? A drink, some food?”

“No.” Akemi said bluntly. She wasn’t here for pleasure, she was here for work.

“I brought my own water bottle, but thanks!” Natsuki said.

“I had lunch back in town, so I’m fine.” Soma said.

“I’m kinda thirsty, so I’d appreciate it!” Hikari said.

“One glass of milk comin’ up then.” Big Al ushered the girls into a sitting room, and shortly afterwards came back and plonked a glass of milk on the coffee table in front of Hikari. “Wanna introduce yourselves?”

Akemi was going to refuse, but Soma started speaking before she could. “I’m Soma, this is Akemi, Natsuki, and Hikari.” she said, pointing to each in turn. “Nice to meet you!”

Big Al nodded, pointing at each and muttering their names. “Got it. Thanks. Now, what can I do ya for? Ain’t every day a magical girl comes in, let alone a pack of ‘em!”

“Evidently that’s not the case,” Akemi said, “Since in the last three months, three different teams of magical girls have gone missing in this region.”

“Ain’t that an oddity.” Big Al said, reclining in his seat. “Don’t they usually wind up back in action one way or another by now?”

“Usually, yep.” Hikari said. “But they haven’t, so we’re looking for them! Oh, and thanks for the milk, it’s delicious.”

“Fresh from the cow.” Al said. “Well now, that is a pickle… what’s it got to do with this little old farm then?”

“As far as we know, nothing. But they’re stuck somewhere. For all we know there’s a villain making a hideout right under the barn floorboards. We plan to check everywhere, yours is just the first of many places in the target region.”

“R-Right, so don’t take it personally or anything…” Soma said.

“Well… guess you’re not here for the niceties, then. Any contribution from Nat here?” he said, looking at Natsuki.

Natsuki shook her head. “Oh, I’m just Hikari’s friend. I’m not really a Magical Girl, I just play support sometimes.”

The man nodded. “I see, I see. Well, I’m sure there’s no magical girls here but you. But if you insist, I can have my girls show you around.” He cleared his throat, before calling out. “Hey! Charity, Lizzie, come in here!”

As if they’d been waiting for this, the two women from earlier came into the room. “Hey, boss. What’s up?” one of them said.

“These girls want to take a look-see around the place. No harm in it, so show them the works, yeah?”

“Sure thing, boss!” The other woman said.

The two farmhands led the Magical Girls out of the house. “So, there’s a good bit of ground to cover - this place ain’t a one building farm after all. I figure y’all probably wanna check out the horses in their stables, and then the cows and the chickens in the barn. Why don’t half of ya go with me to peek in on the livestock, and the other two go with Lizzie and check out the horses?”

“Sounds good!” HIkari said. “How about-”

“I’m going with Natsuki.” Akemi interrupted her. “You’re going with Soma. We don’t need you and Natsuki chattering your way past something important.”

“She’s got you there.” Izanami said. While she didn’t have a physical form for Hikari to look at, she could feel the smirk.

“Fiiiine…” Hikari said. “Well, we’ve got work to do. To the barn!”

“And I guess we’re going to the stables! I like horses, they’re always so pretty.” Natsuki said.

The two pairs split off, following their guides.

-----

The stables looked fairly normal, with about half a dozen horses of varied coats standing in their stalls. “This is Winter, we call her that because of the white coat… this is Duke, because he acts like he’s some kind of nobility… this is-” Lizzie was introducing them to each of the horses.

Natsuki was… admittedly a bit distracted. She tried to keep an eye out, she really did. She wanted to be helpful to Hikari and the others. But she hadn’t been on a farm before, so she was too interested in the animals to pay much attention. It wasn’t every day that a big city girl got to see animals larger than unusually big dogs, and she’d always liked horses. She stroked one’s neck under the guidance of the farmhand, giggling a bit when it snorted and blew her hair back.

Akemi, for her part, was focused. She was looking for anything strange in the place. It had quite a few horses for the size of the farm, but that could just be that they were doing well - with few farms on the island, there were only so many places you could buy fresh produce from. The amount of hay seemed abnormal for the number of horses, but she was hardly an expert. There seemed to be more stalls than there were horses, and gear for more, but that could be spares or future proofing for foals. All in all, she didn’t find evidence of much besides a well off farm.

She felt… oddly disappointed at that. There was no reason to think that the first place they came across was the place where the other teams had vanished, but she’d had a hunch. Still, she was going to look thoroughly. Maybe there would be a hint. “So… Lizzie, was it? Seen any girls like us around here lately?”

Lizzie didn’t turn around, moving down to the next horse as she responded. “Can’t say I have. We don’t get many visitors around here, ‘sides a few town boys we ask to bring in the papers and stuff. Sure they were here and not somewhere else?”

“Well, not here on this farm specifically, but in the region.” Akemi said, “Just, in general. Any word of villains or corrupt beings in the area?”

“Nope. Everywhere’s got it’s shady folk, but mostly the mundane type is what we’ve got in this place. Say, while you’re here, could ya help- woah!” Her words were interrupted as the stall door burst open, and the horse shot out. “Damnit, that was April- she’s always so jumpy. It’ll take hours to drag her back… say, you don’t think you could help, can ya? I heard Magical Girls can fly, and I figure that’ll make it much faster.”

“Well, I can’t… Hikari kinda can, but-” Akemi started.

“Great, we can ask her for help. Could you go grab her while I keep track of it?”

Natsuki winced, as Lizzie unintentionally kicked Akemi right in the rivalry.

Akemi was quiet for a few seconds. “...But I can run fast and I don’t get tired easily. Stay here!” she said, and promptly transformed into her magical form to chase down the runaway horse.

“Oooh… you hit a button there, didn’t you…” Natsuki said.

“You know, for a second I thought it wasn’t hittin’ as hard as I wanted… thought she’d never leave.” Lizzie muttered.

Natsuki looked at her quizzically. “What? Did she make that bad of an impression?”

“Nah. I just want you alone, cutie~” Lizzie said cheerfully.

Natsuki had about enough time to realize something was up before Lizzie moved fast. She took a hat out from seemingly nowhere and pushed it onto Natsuki’s head. She’d tried to move, but the moment it made contact she froze, staring out into space.

Lizzie giggled a bit to herself as she pressed close to the girl, snapping her fingers in front of her face a few times. Natsuki didn’t blink, staring blankly forward with an empty look on her face. “Now, what did the boss want from you… right, right.” Lizzie said to herself. “Now, Nat… you like all these animals and stuff, right?”

Natsuki was zoned out, her mind empty. But she could hear and understand one thing. That was Lizzie’s words. “Yeah… it’s so nice here… nothing like the city…” she said dreamily.

“That’s right, Nat. You used to be a city girl, huh?” Lizzie said, pressing close. She loved the dazed look on Natsuki’s face - it was adorable, and would be so fun to change…

“Mmmhm… this is the first time I’ve ever been on a farm…” Natsuki nodded. Lizzie’s voice was so soothing. So nice.

“That’s odd. Ain’t you been workin’ with us forever now?” Lizzie said, pulling the hat a bit lower on Natsuki’s head.

Those words shoved Natsuki’s memories out of the way, replacing them with the memory of signing on with the farm. “Oh… you’re right. I’ve worked here for years now, hehe.”

“And you ain’t no city girl no more, are ya Nat?”

“Nope. Country girl through and through…” Nat agreed.

“That’s right~ You left the city soon as ya could, Nat. Moved out here and took a job where you could take care of the animals, live the good life. You like animals, don’t ya?” Lizzie continued. She stroked Natsuki’s face, rubbed against her body, pushing her further into her trance. She had to work fast, before Akemi returned, and this was the fastest way to do it.

“Of course I do. Why would I work here otherwise?” Nat said, the answer obvious in her malleable mind.

“Why’d you like them?” Lizzie asked.

“They’re so pretty… so nice… I just want to take care of them, keep them safe…” Nat said.

“That’s adorable… but that’s not true, is it? You’re hiding your real reason…” Lizzie prompted Nat. She was getting closer and closer…

“Ehehehe… it’s kinda embarrassin’, ya know?” Nat giggled, a bit of an american southern drawl creeping into her English.

“I know~ But you’re among friends here~ No need ta keep up the pretense.”

Nat shuddered a little. “Ah… you’re right… I love animals… I love controlling them… dominating them… they let me feel in charge, in control, as if they’re mine to play with…”

Lizzie gave Nat’s ass an affirming squeeze, giggling as she did. “That’s right hun, that’s the real reason… And now somethin’ you don’t like.”

“Something I don’t…?” Nat asked, a frown on her face.

“You left the city to get away from those dang Magical Girls, didn’t ya? Always so high and mighty, lookin’ down on everyone. Don’t ya hate them?”

Nat blinked. “What…? No, of course I don’t.”

It was Lizzie’s turn to be surprised. Did she love them so much that even this hypnosis wouldn’t break it?

But then Nat continued. “They’re the best… they make such good farm animals… it’s so fun to see their minds go dim and stupid~” Lizzie smiled. It turned out she did love Magical Girls too much to make her hate them, but not enough that they couldn’t twist that love into something more useful. “Seeing them break and controlling them like the dumb animals they’ve become… is there anything better?”

“Can’t say that there is,” Lizzie agreed. “Now, here’s the plan for when that bitch comes back…”

Akemi returned not two minutes later, holding the horse’s lead tightly and guiding them back to their stall. “Child’s play!” she declared, “A heroine of justice like me couldn’t be slowed by a simple horse.” She liked playing it up when she was being heroic - getting the chance to do something impressive put her in a much better mood than she’d been since they got there.

“Impressive! You’re real fast, ain’t ya Akemi?” she said.

“The fastest on foot in the city.” Akemi agreed proudly. She heard a jingling somewhere behind her, but before she turned to look Lizzie kept talking.

“So I take it that you and that Hikari girl have a bit of bad blood, what with how ya reacted.” she asked.

Akemi frowned a little, as she reverted to her normal form. “Not… not quite. It’s just a healthy rivalry. She’s too damn nice to dislike her, really.” Akemi admitted. “One day, though, I will prove myself superior, and she’ll be so impressed that she’ll ask to become my student!”

“I’m sure, I’m sure.” Lizzie nodded. She did an admirable job not looking over Akemi’s shoulder.

“...Where did Natsuki go?” Akemi asked.

The response she got was a sudden grab from behind. Nat quickly pulled Akemi’s arms behind her back. “Right here, girl!” Nat giggled, as Akemi felt something snap over her arms. She tried to break free, but it was like a chinese finger trap - the harder she struggled, the tighter her arms were bound. She leaned around to look at Akemi’s face, and smirked at her and tipped her hat. “Howdy~” she said.

Akemi was about to respond - leave her alone for five minutes and Natsuki ends up brainwashed! - but as she opened her mouth Nat shoved something into it that she accidentally bit on. “Mmmph!” Akemi grunted, as Nat quickly put on the rest of the bridle, leather bands covering Akemi’s face.

The moment she bit down on the bridle’s, well, bit, it was a lost cause. Her thoughts were scattered and disoriented, thrown into disarray by the magic of the bridle. “Mmph…” she groaned.

“That’s much better… such a powerful Magical Girl, so easily dominated~” Nat giggled. “I love it… now, Akemi, don’t you want to be a good girl?”

Akemi was trying to rearrange her thoughts, to put up a resistance, but the phrase ‘good girl’ was a hammer blow to her mental defenses. She was a good girl. She wanted to be a good girl. She nodded blankly.

“That’s right. You’re going to be a good girl. You want to be a very good pony, don’t you? Do you want to know what the first thing good ponies always do is?”

She wanted to tell Nat where she could stick her ‘good pony’ nonsense, to fight back, to blast her way out of there. At least, she thought she did, but something told her she desperately wanted to be a good pony. She nodded again. She needed to be told what she had to do, just as much as she needed to escape.

“Well… I’ll tell you, after you do a little something for us…” Nat said. She pressed close, looking right into Akemi’s glazed-over eyes. “Strip naked. Animals don’t need clothes, do they?”

Akemi shook her head. She’d meant it as refusal, but she moved anyway. As Nat removed her arm bindings, they didn’t move to punch her - they moved to pull her clothes off, almost violently, not caring as she destroyed them in the process. Shaking her head hadn’t been a refusal after all. It had been an agreement. She was a pony, and ponies had no need of clothes. So she would instead go naked, but for the bit and bridle.

Something was wrong, it was so wrong - but Nat’s words soothed her. “Good, good… it’s time for your reward: the knowledge that a good pony listens to her owners~”

Akemi nodded, her mind filled with images of service. She would listen to her owners… she was a good pony… right? That didn’t seem right… but her slick entrance disagreed quite fervently. It had felt so good to follow Nat’s orders and strip. Was that what following orders always felt like?

She didn’t get time to reflect on this, as Lizzie returned, bearing assorted leather equipment. “She’s coming along real nice, ain’t she Nat? You’re a natural at this~”

“Thanks, Liz~” Natsuki said with a smile. “I’m lovin’ this. The prideful ones are the best to see fall.” She took some of the gear from Lizzie, and then turned to Akemi. “Let’s put that lesson into practice, yeah? Listen to your Owner - when I touch a part, I want you to raise it up so I can put these parts on~”

Akemi nodded blankly. She would listen to one of her Owners. It was what a good pony did. And she was… she was…

The tap came on her leg first, and she raised it instantly. A bit of her wetness dripped out onto the floor as she obeyed the command, with the pleasure that came from it. Nat slipped her foot into the boot, one with a hoof-like design that practically locked her foot in place. It was repeated with the next foot. “Mmmmh…” she groaned through the bit, although this time, it was significantly less worried…

“That’s good~ You know, you’re being so cooperative, I get to tell you the next thing that good ponies do~ Are you ready?” Nat giggled, as she took the mitts from Lizzie and got ready to do the next one.

Some dim part of Akemi was still fighting. She’d play along for now, but once she had a chance she’d… she’d do something, right? She was a good girl, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t e-escape, right? She had to think of somethin-

As she slipped the thick, hoof-styled mitts onto Akemi’s hands and locked them in place, Nat smiled, and leaned in to whisper in her ear. “Good ponies don’t think. Their owners do that for them. A good pony’s mind is quiet and empty of anything more complex than food, sex, and sleep~”

Akemi could almost feel the thoughts draining from her head. Good ponies didn’t think. She was a good girl. She was a good pony. So she didn’t think. Bits of drool dripped out from behind her bit as her eyes dulled, all complex thought sliding out of her head and dribbling out from between her thighs. She didn’t think. Owners did that for her. Like a good pony.

“Oh, is there anything as good as watching all that intelligence pour out?” Lizzie asked with a giggle.

“Don’t think so.” Nat agreed. “Nearly done~” She grabbed the harness from Lizzie, and started putting it on Akemi. The formerly prideful Magical Girl helped without a word, listening to whatever orders she was given with a dopey grin on her face behind the bit and bridle. “That’s a good pony~ Don’t you love how tight this feels? How it emphasizes your figure? I know you do, because a good pony likes to show off for her Owners.”

As Natsuki’s words bounced around in Akemi’s empty head, they became truth. She did love showing off. It was what good ponies did, for their Owners. And she was a good pony. She didn’t think it in so many words - she couldn’t really think at all anymore. But it was a feeling that suffused her very soul.

She was a good pony. She was the best pony. Her body shifted, the magic of her bindings molding her body to her mind. From her rear end, a tail sprouted, covered in hair as blonde as that on her head. Her ears seemed to slide up her head and become more pointed, becoming distinctly equine as they reached the top. The musculature of her body was more emphasized, more defined. She was an excellent pony girl.

“Such a good girl, Akemi~” Nat said, taking her lead and starting to lead her out of the stall. They had another, secret stable, that she knew due to her remembered years of working in the farm. One with a different kind of occupant. The newly made pony followed her loyally. “Lizzie, could you go tell the boss that Akemi here’s all good to go?” she asked. “Actually… that’s not a very good name for a pony, is it?” she thought for a moment, before looking at Akemi - and particularly her blue eyes. “...Tell him that Azure here is ready.” Nat corrected herself. “You like that name, don’t you Azure?”

Azure nodded, showing her agreement. Whatever her Owner called her was her correct name. She didn’t even remember her old one anymore.

“Good~”

With that, Nat led her to the second stable. It was smaller than the first, and it’s stalls were smaller to match that. Five more ponygirls lounged in their stalls, and each of them perked up upon the entrance of a farm hand and a newcomer. “Here you go, girl…” Nat said, guiding Azure into an open stall, “Home sweet home. Get used to these girls, you’re gonna be like sisters from now on~”

Azure made a pleased noise through her bit. She wasn’t the best at comprehending human language anymore, but she could still tell her Owner was saying good things. Owners always did.

Nat turned and left the stable, only to nearly walk into a familiar figure. “Oh, hey boss!” she said, smiling up at Big Al. “The new pony’s all set in her stall. Figured was best if I did that myself, save you the trouble. How’s it goin with the other two?”

“They’re on their way, Nat.” Big Al said with a grin as he looked at his newest employee. “I’m sure you did great on… ‘Azure’, that’s what you called her? Good name for a pony.”

“Thanks, boss.” Nat said. It always felt so nice when her boss complimented her. “Just doin’ my best here.”

“And your best is quite good.” Big Al said. “Good enough, I think you’ve earned a bit of a reward.”

“Aw, shucks,” Nat said, “It’s the least I could do for ya. But if you insist…” She knew what the man saw as rewards, and she for one was happy for it.

The man reached down and started feeling at Nat’s body. She wasn’t a small woman, but Al was a huge man and the size difference would have been intimidating if she didn’t love it so much. She didn’t push back - in fact, she encouraged him, pushing her body against his hands. She groaned as she felt a sudden warmth wherever his hands touched, felt the touch of his power… and started to feel like there was more of her to grab. Reaching down to help guide his hands, she actually felt her body expand under his touch, her thighs thickening. “Ah… this is my reward~?” she questioned, her tone playful.

“That it is.” Al confirmed, as his hands climbed up her body and to her hips. “You know the kind of woman I like, don’t ya? Well, now you get to be one of them~”

“Ah, I couldn’t have expected a reward so great~” Nat replied, leaning into the touch. She loved her boss, and if he was making her more to his tastes, then that was just grand. She loved how it felt as he remolded her body to the image in his mind, her hips growing wide and her ass pillowy and plump. His hands climbed up to her hips, causing them to pinch inwards as moaned with the pleasure of it. It felt good to be remade, to be changed. So, so good… she’d have to thank him properly one of these nights, she thought while licking her lips.

She practically yelled with pleasure as he grabbed her bust, managing to cover her mouth in time not to disturb the pony girls. He groped and squeezed her breasts as they ballooned, growing and growing until they were nearly as big as her head was. Nat was panting with arousal as he moved her hand away, and leaned in to kiss her on the lips.

Nat moaned into his mouth, wrapping her arms around him as he kissed her and stroked her hair. As he did, it started to brighten from it’s brown color towards a bright blonde, and changed in style, tying itself into twintails instead of a single ponytail as it grew even longer. At the same time, her face subtly restructured itself, giving her a more western look. When he pulled back, Nat was nearly unrecognizable, looking like a blonde haired, freckle-dusted westerner.

“Why the freckles… I never try and do that, and it always happens…” Al muttered, but shook his head. He’d still gotten what he wanted out of the deal - a sexy new subordinate. “Well then, Natalie, how was that?”

Nat - or rather, Natalie now, the name Natsuki long forgotten - giggled, and posed in a way that emphasized her new assets. “Oh, it was perfect, boss… do you have a new job for me? Or do you wanna go test the new goods…?”

“As tempting as the offer is, work comes before play.” Al said. “We’ve still got a couple of animals to break in, don’t we?”

“Ah, you’re right~ I’ll head over to the barn and help Charity out then~” Natalie giggled, and skipped off to do just that, already plotting how she’d manipulate the two remaining Magical Girls…

-----

Hikari and Soma’s trip had, so far, been rather less eventful. Charity had received a call from one of her coworkers and had to run off, leaving Hikari and Soma to their own devices in the barn. There wasn’t much of interest there. The novelty of cows had quickly worn off when it became apparent that they mostly just ate grass and moo’d. The chickens in the adjacent coop were more annoying than interesting.

“You know, I think the vats were more interesting than this. Sometimes they had interesting patterns in the bubbles.” Izanami grumbled.

“They’re kinda cute, I guess.” Hikari said in reply, fidgeting a bit where she stood. Hikari, for her part, was feeling kind of strange. They hadn’t been there long, but there was an odd feeling of… weight. And her thoughts were slow and scattered. It felt kind of like sleep deprivation, like her body was made of lead.

Soma, on the other hand, was filled with energy. “Hey, so, what kind of signs of hidden bases should I look for? Hidden wall panels? Discolored flooring? Hikari?”

Hikari blinked. She’d not been paying attention. “Huh? Uh, yeah… you do that.” Hikari muttered. She idly rubbed her chest, which felt so… tight, so constrained, like someone was standing on it.

“...Hikari, something’s wrong.” Izanami said. But Hikari didn’t respond, not apparently hearing her. She could see Hikari’s thoughts, and they were fragmented, like something was messing with her mind. “We need to transform, now!” she said. She’d have taken over and done it herself - Soma could probably be quickly brainwashed, she’d not remember a thing - but she didn’t have the power for it at that time.

“Hikari? Are you alright?” Soma asked.

“Mmmh. Fine.” Hikari nodded absentmindedly, and maybe a bit too vigorously as a pair of somethings bounced.

“...Were your, uh, b-boobs that big when we got here?” Soma stammered.

“Huh?” Hikari asked, rubbing her head, and then muttering an ‘ow’ and sucking on her finger after one of them got poked by something sharp.

Soma knew something was wrong. Hikari was in a daze, and while she didn’t know the Magical Girl well she would swear that Hikari’s shirt hadn’t been so tight when they’d arrive. “Come on, Hikari, let’s find the others-”

“Getting a bit antsy, are we?” A voice said. Before Soma could transform, something flew through the air and wrapped her up. Charity reappeared, accompanied by another farm hand, this one with her blonde hair in two massive twintails. They could have been sisters, they looked so similar - in fact, all the farm hands looked similar… “You ain’t going nowhere, hun.”

Soma struggled to summon her weapon, but her hands and arms were bound, and she needed free hands to do so - she was trapped, while Hikari was standing there with a dumb grin on her face in her daze. When had they got a chance to get to her? Was it the milk? “You won’t get away with this! Let us go and we’ll be nice!” Soma declared, trying to free herself.

“Ah, that’s cute, trying ta bargain your way out of this. You were just about to run, weren’t ya?” The new blonde said. “Charity, why don’t ya put her with the other chickens? She could use it.”

“Sure thing, Natalie.” Charity said with a grin, as she yanked on her lasso and Soma with it. “What about her?”

“Looks like she could use a good milking. Ain’t that right, girl?” Natalie giggled, cupping Hikari’s chin. The dazed Magical Girl’s only response was a giggle.

Soma was dragged on the rope outside and behind the barn, to a second, larger chicken coop. Charity opened the door, and showing greater strength than her build suggested, physically lifted Soma and dropped her in there. “Have fun~” she said as she quickly pulled the rope loose, and then closed the door.

Soma managed to slip out of the rope and staggered to her feet. Where had she been tossed? The place was too big for a chicken coop, wasn’t it? That was what she thought, at least until she saw who occupied the place with her.

A dozen different young women were in there with her. They were all nearly naked, with their most private parts covered by downy white feathers and barely so at that. Besides that, they were all fairly full figured. The most blatant inhumanity was that their arms were replaced by wings. She was in a chicken coop after all - one filled with former people.

She didn’t have time. Soma had to transform, before whatever had happened to these girls happened to her. She focused, trying to call her magic forth-

A ear-splitting CAAAAW broke her concentration. And did a lot more. It forced it’s way into her mind and bounced around in there, leaving her dazed and confused, staggering on her feet. “Wha… huh?” she managed, as a previously unseen occupant of the coop strode into view.

This one, unlike all the others, was a man. A fairly large one. Well muscled, good looking. He had some brown feathers, but overall had maintained a lot of his human body… including a certain something below decks. Soma blushed fiercely, and shook her head, getting her thoughts in order. She didn’t like the look of-

CAAAAW! The screech broke her focus again, and left her staring dumbly at the rooster-man. A chicken-woman stood up, pulling a bit of food from a dispenser. None of them spoke - if Soma had had her mind in any state to consider it, she’d think they didn’t have the capacity. She’d think there was something magical about the rooster-man’s call to make her think like this.

But she wasn’t in much of a state for any thinking, the rooster’s crow bouncing around in her brain and turning her thoughts to mush. She was staring dumbly, mouth agape, as the chicken-woman forced the feed into her mouth. She automatically chewed and swallowed, not really noticing the taste. She couldn’t stop staring at the rooster man. He was… so clearly in charge, here. He ruled the roost, almost literally. He was coming right at her.

As she stared at the man she found herself increasingly attracted to, her transformation began. She felt… uncomfortable, in her clothes, like something beneath them was rustling and pushing against them in an irritating, itchy kind of way. Absentmindedly, she slid her clothes off, revealing the new white feathers that had sprouted beneath her shirt and pants. She stripped until she was naked, but for those feathers.

Once she was free of her bindings, the transformation rapidly progressed. Long, white tail feathers sprouted from her bottom, in time with her hips and ass swelling to a much larger size. She absentmindedly rubbed her lower entrance, but that soon became difficult as she lost fine motor control. Her hands sank into her arms as they expanded, becoming covered in feathers as her new wings formed.

Another CAAAW broke her mind further. She knew why she was being approached now. The rooster man saw her as a hen… and who could blame him, with how she’d begun to look? She stared uncomprehending at her new wings. When had that happened? She was so fixated on this she didn’t notice as she shrank nearly a foot. She was as short as the other chickens now.

The other chickens? Another call confirmed it to her. She was a chicken girl, now. She was… a hen. The hen blinked. Why had it taken her so long to remember that? The cries of the rooster battered her mind, instilling the lessons of her new self. She was a hen, and a hen had a simple mind. She had no name. She had few priorities in life. She was there to eat food, more of that delicious feed that she didn’t have to work for. She was there to lay eggs, to procreate. That was why she had those childbearing hips. She was a breeding toy for the rooster.

She was there to pleasure the rooster-man. He seemed to see the understanding in her eyes. Towering over her, he lifted her like a doll, and brought her to his private section of the coop. Outside, Charity could hear the sounds from deep within and giggled - another one down, it seemed.

Later, they’d come in and tag the new hen with the number 15, for identification. She wouldn’t really recognize the number, or any other designation. What need did such a simple creature have of a name? She had too little room in her tiny mind for such trivialities that weren’t related to sleeping, eating, or laying. By the time they came in to tag her, she was already hard at work on that last one…

-----

Hikari’s mind was a mess as the farmhand guided her to a more private part of the barn. Thinking was… slow. She still could, but it was like her thoughts were swimming through a sea of molasses. Her breasts felt uncomfortable, straining against her clothes. But the nice lady had said she was going to help her.

“Come on, Hikari, snap out of it! I don’t know about you but I don’t plan on being a cow!” Izanami snapped at her host. She heard the words, but muffled, through mental walls.

Natalie, meanwhile, hummed a ditty to herself as she led the transforming girl into a room. It was fairly modest, and sparsely furnitured - it had a chair, a few storage tanks, and some kind of machine attached to a second chair. “Come in now, girl…” she prompted, gently leading Hikari inside.

As the Magical Girl looked at the machine, she felt a twinge of… something. Some emotion that she was having trouble processing. “What… what now?” she managed, speaking slowly.

“Well, now you have to take off your clothes.” Natalie directed, speaking slowly and enunciating her words, as if talking to a small child. “I can’t help you feel better if you have clothes on.”

For nearly a minute, Hikari stood there thinking about it. Or trying to. Soon enough, though, she managed to process it. Clothes off. Feel better. “...Ok.” she said simply, and pulled off her hoodie and began to get the rest off too.

“Damnit, girl, this is why you don’t take drinks from strangers… especially not during an investigation…” Izanami grumbled as Hikari slipped her skirt off, and then worked at her shirt. It was a bit rough, but as she managed to pull her shirt off her breasts bounced free, the far-too-small bra snapping. Hikari normally had a fairly modest bust - but now, she had a truly impressive pair of tits.

Natalie whistled in appreciation as Hikari pulled her boots and socks off, leaving her buck naked. “That’s a real good girl now. Come here, honey.” She said, gently guiding Hikari to the chair.

“Feel… better?” Hikari managed to ask. She wanted to feel better. Lack of clothes was a good start. But her breasts were so… full. Like they were about to burst. She needed help.

“Yes, you will feel better, very soon. Just be patient, like a good girl~” Natalie giggled, as she sat Hikari down and started to hook her up. She put a pair of suction devices onto Hikari’s swollen tits, and hooked them up to the appropriate storage chambers and to the machine proper.

Hikari stared at the cups on her breasts uncomprehendingly. “...Huh?” she managed. That little voice in the back of her mind was saying something. But it was kind of indistinct, hard to understand. It was just starting to break through the haze when the machine started to whir and whine, and the suction began.

Hikari moaned loudly as, with a bit of effort (and possibly a bit more growth of her breasts), the machine started to suck. A smooth, white liquid started to come from her breasts. “A-Ah… ahn~” Hikari moaned. It started as a trickle, just a few squirts of milk. But as the machine gathered steam it started to suck harder, and harder, until it was a constant stream.

The voice went quiet as Hikari’s mind was filled with sensation. She was being milked. Like… like… “Like a good cow~” a voice said in her ear. Natalie was standing beside her, gently stroking her hair. She was being milked like a good cow. She liked that. She liked that a lot.

“Cow…” she repeated in between moans of pleasure, as she continued to transform. The small pinpricks on her head grew out, becoming pointy, almost cute horns atop her skull. Her brain felt like it was being pounded to mush. It was so hard to think. It felt so good not to, though. It was like her mind was being drained right out between her thighs as she came from the pleasure of being milked.

Natalie giggled as she watched the light of intelligence fade from Hikari’s eyes, as she squirted her feminine fluids, and her brains with them, out her pussy nearly as fast as the machine sucked milk from her knockers. “That’s right, you’re a good cow,” she confirmed. “And what don’t good cows do? They don’t think. But you're too stupid to think anyway, aren’t you?”

Hikari would have agreed if she could still form coherent thoughts, but instead she just moaned. “Mmhn~” she moaned, and Natalie helpfully moved her head up and down to let her agree. Hikari was just a dumb cow. She didn’t need silly things like thoughts.

Izanami, for her part, felt… strange. Like she was being sucked out with the milk. That was obviously impossible, she was attached at the soul to Hikari. But all the same, her perspective was shifting away from Hikari. Into the machine. It dawned on her that she was, in fact, being milked right out of her. She was baffled by this, until she thought of why it could be. Obviously Hikari wasn’t pregnant, so how was she producing milk? Magic. And what was one source of magic inside her? Izanami. It was like… Izanami had been converted into milk within her teat, and was now being drained out of her.

Izanami had a good view from the tubes in her out-of-body experience. It was… disconcerting, feeling like a liquid. Even if she suspected she’d return to Hikari when she filled up again, it was far from comfortable. Especially when Natalie - was she a converted Natsuki, maybe? Something about her was familiar - detached the storage tank from the machine and she got even further from Hikari.

“Wow, we filled up a tank and you’re barely even half empty… you’re going to be a real good cow, ain’t ya girl?”

Hikari stared at her blankly. A tail poked out from her butt, now, a thin and reedy little thing, and swayed lazily. “Mmh?” she moaned softly. She was still so full… it was better now, but even with the suction stopped her breasts were leaking milk.

“Oh, don’t worry about it, hun. Don’t think. Just listen to your nice owners, and give me a little ‘moo’~” Natalie said, as she hooked up another tank.

As the suction resumed, Hikari compiled. “Mmmhn~ Mmmh… Mooo~” she said. It wasn’t intentional obedience, just instinct. She didn’t really understand what Nice Lady had said. But the obedience made her feel good all the same. She was being milked again, and that meant she was… she was a good cow, right? And she loved being a good cow if it meant she would get milked. The milking resumed, white fluid flooding down the tubes. As it did, she continued to transform, with black and white dappled fur appearing on her ankles and wrists. It started to climb up and up and up, going past her elbows and knees.

“Aww, such a pretty pattern you have~” Natalie said, even though Hikari couldn’t comprehend it. “It’s so good for a cow like you.”

So good for a cow… such a good girl… the cow-girl moo’d contentedly, as the milk machine sucked and sucked. She didn’t remember what her name had been, and didn’t care. She was a good girl for the Nice Lady. She was being milked. What else was there in life? She moaned as she came again from the pleasure, her transformation rapidly continuing as more of her hair turned white. Soon, it was all in white-and-black stripes, mimicking the color composition of her fur.

Natalie stroked the nameless cowgirl’s hair, gently whispering in her ear. “That’s a good girl, a nice dumb cow… just me milk you dry and bring you to your new life~” she giggled. This was… the best. Watching her mind go dim and quiet, seeing a Magical Girl reduced to nothing but a docile animal. It really got her going, she’d have to go see Big Al after this, or failing that, get some private time in her room! She watched with pleasure as the cow’s ears started to change, lengthening and growing floppy and black to match her new species.

With a few final spurts, the milk machine had done its job and drained the cow dry. Natalie pulled the suction cups off of the new acquisition’s heaving tits, still just as giant as they started even after the drainage. “There we go~ All done. Feeling any better?”

The cow stared at her with a blank, uncomprehending smile. “Moo~”

“Not much for conversation anymore, huh? Don’t worry hun, it’s adorable~” Natalie giggled, before pulling a tool from her pocket. “Just a second, Al had this one prepped for ya…” she reached over to one of the cow’s ears, and pressed the tool together, quickly piercing the ear. Then, she inserted a tag into the hole, a silver ring with a gold plate dangling for it declaring the cow’s name. “How’s it feel, Holly?”

The cow snorted. Holly. That was her name. Nice Lady had given it to her, so it must be her name. “Moo!” she replied, the nearest thing to an affirmation she could give.

“Good enough for me.” Natalie said, before pulling out another item. She wrapped it around Holly’s neck, jingling a little as she clicked it closed. The new cowbell really completed the look. “Come on, Holly, let’s get you out to pasture…”

Holly didn’t understand what Nice Lady had said, but she did understand the gentle pull on her hand. She followed Nice Lady out behind the barn, where a herd of more cow-girls were laying about. As soon as the woman let go of her hand, she felt herself fall to all fours. It was more comfortable like that, easier to support the weight of her breasts. She went to join her new sisters, her head empty of any complicated thought just like theirs.

Natalie returned to the milking room and hefted up the two tanks. “She’s a good one… bet she’ll sell for a bushel or two if we don’t just keep her.” she said to herself, heading to the storage shed to put away the milk. She was met just out of the stall by a certain large man.

“How’d she go?” Big Al asked, raising an eyebrow at the amount of milk Natalie was carrying.

“Better than we could have expected. I don’t know how much magic she had, but it’s a good thing we got her under control with that milk first. Holly’s a good enough girl now, but she had two containers full of milk once it was all converted!”

Al whistled at that. What kind of monster had they caught? If they hadn’t been careful she’d probably have wiped them from the map. “Another excellent job. Once you got that milk all away, come to the house, why don’t ya? You’ve been working real hard today, and I figure ya deserve another big reward.”

Natalie grinned, and licked her lips. “I’ll be sure to. Get it ready for me?”

“Of course.” Al said.

Natalie walked off, putting an intentional sway in her hips to show off her bottom as she went.

-----

Holly had been a bit antsy for the last while. There had been a lot of dark spaces, a lot of time spent in enclosed places. She wasn’t in the comforting familiarity of the farm anymore. And a little irritating voice that she didn’t understand kept whispering in her ear. She was feeling a bit better now, though - Owner had led her through a scary place with a lot of people, and into a much quieter place with her fellow cows. She felt nice and safe, there.

Izanami, meanwhile, was groggy. She didn’t know how many times she’d been milked out and reformed inside Hikari - or rather, the cow-girl she’d turned into - and the process had messed with her sense of time passing. But she always felt so tired when she did reform… but she was coherent enough to realize where they’d gone. Holly had been led onto a boat, and then after some time had arrived on land again. Akemi - although the farmer called her ‘Azure’ - was with them, too. Then they’d loaded her and some others in a truck, and they’d gone through what was practically a convention center underground filled with people. And human-animals.

It was like a farmer’s convention, but for villainous farmers only. And if Hikari was there, it meant she was merchandise.

Holly, of course, had no such complicated thoughts. Her thoughts were food, drinking, milking, and waiting for her Owner. And, as she noticed a pen across the room containing a different sort of stock, another thought. There were bull-men in the pen. She could smell them. It made her feel things she was not used to, since her own home didn’t have any.

Before she could think too much about it - not that that was a difficult criteria to achieve, with how little she thought - she was led out again, onto a brightly lit platform. Her Owner brought her onto the stage in front of a small crowd. She wanted to go back to the pens, maybe to the bull’s pen, but her Owner’s hand on her shoulder steadied her. It was ok, Owner was right there.

“Now, what we have here,” Al began, “Is a top quality specimen. Holly here was once a Magical Girl of extraordinary power, now a cow of unsurpassed pedigree.” he said. Izanami scoffed internally. He was a showman, it seemed. But if Hikari was such a good cow-girl, why was she being sold?

The man continued. “I am loath to part with such a creature, of course, but private matters of finance have left me no choice. I assure my fellow connoisseurs of magical livestock, however, that she is well worth whatever price you pay. You all know me, and you all know that my girls are recruited from the Magical Girls of Matsushita City, and with that comes their quality!”

“Enough of the theater, Al.” one of the assembled farmers below said, a tall woman with an outfit that seemed to be trying too hard to be ‘farmer’-y. “We know you got goods, so give us a demonstration.”

“Of course, of course. Always to business with you, Margaret.” Al said, producing a glass. Then, he grabbed Holly’s breast and squeezed.

Holly let out a pleased ‘Moo!’ as milk squirted into the cup right from her breast. She grew a little wet from the feeling, and Izanami groaned as she felt part of herself go with it. Al offered the cup to the woman, and squeezed out another to offer another farmer.

“As you can surely taste,” he continued, “She has quite the delectable product even before processing. Fresh, pure magical milk. And not only that, she has a lot of it!” He whistled, and a farmhand strolled in with a cart stacked with containers of clear liquid. “Charity here just brought in a cart full of Holly’s milk. Anyone have a guess how much time it took us to get this much?”

“A week!” One farmer said.

“Three days.” Margaret said, rolling her eyes at the obvious question.

Al smirked. “The first of these containers was filled up just this morning.” Surprised chatter rippled through the crowd, and Al seized the momentum. “She’s got more than double the capacity and milk generation of your average cowgirl! And she ain’t even been with a bull yet, this is all on her magical potential! Now could y’all think of what good breeding stock she’ll make?”

Holly, for her part, was quite pleased with herself. It wasn’t the thorough milking she’d usually liked, but as the humans started saying their nonsense things, Owner looked very happy! She was glad to have helped make him so happy, it made her feel so nice…

Izanami, on the other hand was a bit dazed by the sudden milking, but maintained enough coherence to understand what was going on - they were bidding. And ‘Holly’ was about to be sold.

“Going once, going twice… sold, to Miss Margaret in the front!” Big Al said, doing his best auctioneer impression.

Margaret came up, and took Holly’s lead. “Thanks, dear.” she said, “I’m sure I’ll put her to better use than you could.”

“I’m sure,” Al agreed, “Treat her right and she’ll do you wonders.”

“Of course, I plan to do just that…”

Holly was confused as the lady led her away from Owner. Wasn’t she supposed to stay with him? Who was this? The worry mounted as she was led to an unfamiliar part of the location.

But as she was led into a small room and the door closed behind her, she stopped worrying. A scent filled her nose, something else filled her vision, and made her wet. She was alone in a room with a bull. And one that was ready to go, at that.

She turned around, raising her tail up. But before he could mount her, there were terrifying noises in the distance, and the ground shook.

-----

Azure was fulfilling her purpose. She was showing off for her Owners. She was being a very good pony. They had brought her (and some random cow, but more importantly her) to a strange place. Honestly, it made her uncomfortable. But the Owner that was with her constantly assured her she was being a good girl, that showing off her body was making her Owners happy.

She’d been practicing for something like this for a while. Running through a makeshift course on the farm, she’d shown herself the fastest of their pony girls! She was too simple minded to feel pride, but making her Owners happy was near enough to it. So they’d brought her to the show.

“Hey there, Lizzie,” one of the stablehands greeted the farmgirl as she approached. “Was wondering when you’d show up.”

“Had ta help the boss get the cow ready for the sale.” Lizzie said. “This here is Azure, fastest ponygirl in the East! Treat her right, you hear?”

Azure didn’t much understand what they were talking about, but when Owner handed her lead to the man, she understood she had to follow him. She was a good girl, and good girls listened to their Owners.

She was led to a small stable, where the man and several other people got to work. It felt kind of nice, like she was being pampered. They brushed her tail, they brushed her hair. They tightened her bridle, her boots and her mitts, making sure they held to her as tight as they possibly could. She decided she liked them. They were helping her look her best for her Owners, helping her be a very good girl and show off her body.

Then, they led her to a small stall at the beginning of the track, and put something over her eyes so she could only see directly in front of her. With that, they closed the door behind her, and made her face forward.

She couldn’t see them, but she heard the other pony-girls in the stalls next to her. She was in a race. She had to run, run, run… she had to win it for her Owners!

She prepared herself as someone outside started talking very loudly. She waited patiently for her moment. The starting shot went off and the gate in front of her opened, and she and the others were off.

Azure ran and ran and ran, putting her all into the effort. The girls beside her kept pace, each just as motivated as she was. With the blinders on, she couldn’t see anything but the track in front of her, but she could hear them. And she could hear loud bangs, and screams. Wow, humans were really loud when they watched ponies show off, weren’t they?

Eventually, she pulled away from the pack as she felt the ground shaking beneath her. She kept her balance and kept running. There were bangs to each side, and she kept running. She had to run, for her Owner, to be a good girl!

Not long after, she saw the finish line right ahead of her. She put on a burst of speed, running as fast as she could. She broke through the finish line just as a human landed on the ground in front of her, and Azure barreled into her.

“Hey, hey-” the girl said. She was in a very frilly outfit. Could Azure eat it? It looked tasty. “You can stop running, we’re here to save you- Ah!”

Azure tuned her out. She felt so alive. So good. She was a good girl. She was so very good. She idly bit at the clothes of the human, deciding it must be her victory treat if she hadn’t left.

Big Al was almost shocked that he managed to make it back to his farm in one piece. When the convention had been attacked, he’d luckily been near the emergency exits already. But he had no idea how long they’d stay safe. He checked the main house but didn’t see any of his farmhands there, so he went to the next most likely place, the barn.

There, he found Natalie, along with a couple more of his workers. It wasn’t just them, either - a pair of nude girls were tied up, with frilly Magical Girl clothes discarded on the ground. They were evidently in the middle of a transformation.

“Hey, boss!” Natalie said. “We caught these two snoopin’ round here while you were out. Figured that we could use another sheepdog, and a wooly friend to go with ‘em. Ain’t that right Spot?” she said, gently nodding the hypnotized girl’s head for her.

“Sure, good job Nat.” he said, waving her off.

“Say, how’d the con go? Don’t see Holly or Azure with ya, so did they sell? And where’s Lizzie and Charity?” Natalie asked.

“That’s my business.” Al snapped. “Come on, we have to prepare for some potential unwanted guests.”

That damn convention. It had started off so well. It was held every few years for magical farmers like him, and it had seemed a good time to get rid of the heated merchandise. Holly was a boon to the farm in production, but he’d gotten to thinking that such a powerful Magical Girl would be missed. He couldn’t have any evidence that she’d been there. Same went for Azure. He figured he could keep Natalie just fine, she wasn’t a Magical Girl at all, and chicken number 15 was so new they wouldn’t look too hard.

So off he and a couple hands had gone, planning to sell ‘em off for as much as they could get. And he’d gotten real good money on Holly, just before it had all gone to crap with a raid - news stories said it was mostly the Magical Girl Association’s American branch, but they kept in contact with the Matsushita branch and HQ, and if Charity and Lizzie had been caught, nevermind Azure or Holly, they’d get some info quick.

But the fact there were already girls snooping meant they were out of time. Bitterly, he hoped that Margaret had had the time to get Holly bred. Margaret always preferred to work quickly, stake her claim on a girl with one of the bulls. Would serve her right, for bringing so much heat on them.

“Right, right.” Natalie said, “Got a sec though? Think it might be important.”

Al groaned loudly. “No, I don’t have time for this. But say it anyway.”

“Well, ya see, I remember my Momma might not be so inclined to let me work with ya, you know how it is…” Natalie started.

“Yeah, and? What about her? What can some random lady do?” Al asked.

“Well, she’s kinda-”

As if on cue, the roof shattered above them. A quintet of women in matching uniforms dropped to the ground, magical weapons bared.

Al raised his hands up. “I surrender… could I interest you in a-”

Unfortunately for him, these girls weren’t as gullible as Hikari, as easily manipulated as Akemi, or as new as Soma. One of them blasted him, a burst of webbing coming out of their staff and sealing his mouth shut. The other girls went to restrain the farmhands, while two kept Big Al unable to move.

A woman walked into the barn, one in an immaculate business suit. “Mr… ‘Big Al’, I presume.”

“Mmmph!”

“Good. You’re under arrest for assorted kidnappings, unwilling transformations, magical crimes, and converted-human trafficking. My name is Chihaya.”

“Heya, Momma!” Natalie said, waving a bit before letting the magical girl restraining her take her arm back. “Hey, Boss, this is my Momma.”

Natalie might have had most of her memory rewritten - but neither Lizzie nor Big Al had known her surname or who she was. They’d not bothered to change her memory of her parents. They hadn’t known that Natsuki Nakano was the daughter of the current head of the Magical Girl Association, Chihaya Nakano, who might take exception to her daughter vanishing without a trace.

Chihaya looked over at Natalie, and then back to Al. “...That’s one. Hikari and Akemi are already being recovered. I hope for your sake, that Soma is safe and easily recovered.”

Al would have spat if his mouth had been capable of moving.

“You’re going away for a very long time, I hope you know. I’m going to make sure of it.” She cupped his chin, and leaned in close. “I see what you did to her physically. I can suspect what you did mentally. And if I find you did what I think you did, you will be lucky if all I do is castrate you with a rusty spoon.”

Al swallowed hard. Maybe he’d ask to be left with mundane police…

-----

The quartet of Magical Girls were sitting in a cafe, freshly discharged from the Magical Girl Association’s rehabilitation ward. Since they’d spent so long under control, and for three of them had been so reduced in mental capacity, it had been more difficult to recover their minds and bodies than usual. Still, it was staffed by the best in the business.

“...So.” Soma said eventually.

“...Yeah.” Hikari said, nodding.

“Yep.” Akemi said.

Natsuki looked between them. “...So, I guess that was your introduction to the Magical Girl life, huh, Soma?”

“Oh gosh, I’m so sorry…” Hikari bowed low, actually bumping against the table. Her words were muffled by the table. “It’s all my fault for taking that stupid milk…”

“It actually is, yes.” Izanami said. “How gullible can you get?”

“N-No- you’re fine- b-ka-” Soma started to reply, but she covered her mouth as an accidental cluck came out.

Hikari sat up, wet spots prominently announcing the location of her nipples. “Ah, uh, napkins…” she said, grabbing a few and grumbling about how she kept lactating.

“I’m to blame, too, for being so easily lured away.” Akemi said. She might be prideful, but to her that made it important to take responsibility for your mistakes.

“No, you’re not,” Natsuki said pointedly. Her only lingering side effect was a light dusting of freckles. She thought they’d go away soon, although she found them kind of cute.

“No, I’m not, Owner.” Azure obediently repeated, her eyes glazing over briefly as she went into her loyal trance. Then Akemi shook her head. “Gah, I hate that so much…”

“Sorry, sorry.” Natsuki said, raising her hands in apology.

“All four of you are idiots.” Izanami said, although only Hikari could hear her. It was going to be a good bit before they were totally back to normal. Hikari still dripped milk sometimes, Soma still had chicken-tendencies, and Akemi was just a bit too eager to obey.

“Gosh, it’s so embarrassing… for all of us, that is, not just me.” Akemi said. “Why don’t we just… agree to never speak of this again. As far as we’re concerned, it never happened.”

“I’m alright with that if you want it,” Soma said.

“Sure, no reason to dwell on mistakes.” Hikari agreed.

“Are you sure? I think you were all kinda cute-” Natsuki trailed off as Akemi glared at her. “...Fiiine, I won’t talk about it.”

“Then we’re all agreed.” Akemi said. “...Since I went down first, though, I do insist on paying for this meal. Order what you want.”

The four drank their assorted coffee and tea, chatting about anything but the farm.
