Content: [Implied Tiny Orc and Elf TF, Mental disorder, Sexual implications, Possible Asexuality]

This contains two mini stories that take place during the events of V-LARP.

Well, technically one is after the event, and is retroactively retelling it.

I hope the info on Zera is tasteful, I tried to base it on a real person I know who is like that.

Mental disorders are not a joke. That said, Zera is a real card, and tries to be funny.

Tia - Mean and Green

Orcs. Big, green, war machines. Tia loved them, she always liked their muscular forms. Tia was a big fan of fantasy stories growing up, reading Ann McCarthy novels, and The Hobbit. In school she studied Greek history, or rather, Greek mythos. It opened her eyes to so many cool monsters and ideas. So it was just her luck, when the little blonde nerd girl found a D&D club in High School. She loved it, the stories she loved growing up were under her control now. Whenever she played anew, she would try a new race. However there was one race she just fell in love with, Orcs. Their gruff, no-nonsense personalities were something the young, and shy, nerd aspired to.

From High school right through college, she rebuilt herself; refining her confidence, hitting the gym, getting into metallica. By age 23 she was all punk, muscle, and stoic confidence. She wasn’t green, at least not literally yet, but she had become an Orc in her soul. Gone was the shy, scrawny, bookish, nerd. At least, in person. Alone or with friends, especially at the D&D table, she went back to being her nerdy self, knowing every page of the Pathfinder, and 5e rulebooks by heart. In Fact it was at D&D where she learned about LARP’ing, from some weird girl called Zera.

Tia and Zera ended up forming a friendship based on all things fantasy. Their appearances contrasted sharply, however, and always drew looks in public. Due to her being on the spectrum, Zera was extremely bubbly and energetic, somewhat loud at times, and bad at reading the room. Tia kept her in check, and kept cool in public, which looked like stoicism. Their dynamic was certainly memorable. Tia helped care for Zera when they went out, keeping an eye on her for when she caused too much noise, or invaded personal spaces without realizing. Tia also helped comfort Zera when she lost one of her sneakers at a bowling alley. Zera HAD to wear sneakers outside, and not having one of them caused her a panic attack, which Tia had to handle while waiting for Zera’s mom to show up and rescue them.

Through it all, Zera and Tia had a very solid friendship. Which is why when they made their V-LARP characters they decided to both tie their backstories together. For some reason, Zera’s compulsion for wearing sneakers was under control when using the Venn Machine. It only worked if she was completely different, however. Zera claimed the reason was because “When I'm not me, I don't have to wear sneakers. But when I'm me with dyed hair, I'm still me, so I do” - and that was that. So when Zera was an elven assassin with a different body, coupled with being a character with a different personality, (which Zera was professional actress levels of good at playing), her compulsions never bothered her. As much.

So with Tia’s love of Orcs, and Zera’s compulsions under manageable control as an Elf, they chose Stormveil as their starting zone. Zera was nervous the first time, but had the compulsion to remain in character which helped. She wasn’t Zera right now, her brain told itself. Having a big amazonian Orc woman at her side certainly helped the nerves.

After a few sessions, Zera and Tia had become more confident. Tia’s orc, Grunka, and Zera’s Elf, Mimidora, had a good time at Stormveil each month. Eventually Zera’s mischievous prankster nature came into play, and caused messes Tia had to excuse and clean up after. It was one of these pranks that had surprised her this time around. Zera had done the usual “Hey Tia, watch this.” and had approached 3 young Orcs who were clearly new to the event. To Tia’s surprise and utter shock, Zera had challenged them into a game where whoever loses gets tied to a bed all night. They had lost, following her to an Inn room. Calculated, as Zera never lost that game. Tia knew Zera could be a bit horny, especially publicly, but this was a new one. “Well, at least she’s having fun.” Tia told herself, but decided to stay in the Tavern bar, to be close by if Zera got in trouble.

On Saturday she awoke to the Orc priest, or Warlock as all the Orcs called him, (Warlock fits better for orcs than a priest does, they argue), who had told her it was morning and to get up as the Front-lines would be starting in a few hours. See, Priests, who are basically staff members running things from the inside, all ran their own Taverns in each of the 4 cities. In this case, the Warlock had closed the Tavern bar for breakfast, since he had to meet with the Orc generals to discuss today's frontlines. It was going to be a big one, and Grunka was expected to play a role in it. Tia was super happy when she got the Email, she was gonna be part of a story event.

Just as she was peeling her green mug, (her face, not her tankard), off the table, Zera and the three Orc-eteers came down the stairs. The poor lads were having trouble walking and seemed exhausted. They hobbled to the exit, but not before shooting dirty looks at Zera as they went. Tia found that odd. Even if they were hurt, they shouldn’t be feeling much due to the maximum of 10% pain as per the rules here, thanks to Venn Machines. Zera personally put hers at 3%. While Tia went the full 10%, of course.

Zera was full of energy, oddly enough. “Girl has a reverse foursome, and comes out as if she slept all night,” at least, that’s what Tia assumed. Zera kept it all quiet, snickering at the lads bow legged walk. She wouldn’t tell Tia what happened, and Tia didn’t want to know. Instead they went to their respective jobs for the day. Grunka to the Orc Barracks for the pre-frontline meeting. And Mimidora to the kingdom of Elador to meet her contact for an assassination mission the Orc kingdom had been planning for a while, but that had failed last time.

So there Grunka was, sat atop a creature called ‘Skork’ in the back of the Orc platoon. “Dumb name for something so terrifying,” she thought. Anyway, all she had to do was act like she was controlling Skork, and if she died then Skork would pretend to go berserk. Tia had argued with the warlock over this, but they assured her that there was a necromancy plotline that would allow her character to return from the dead for the next session. She felt lucky to have such insider information about future story events. Of course, she had signed an NDA before entering, so that was probably why.

There was a green haired beast-kin in the Elador army that Tia had her eye on. She was really “badass,”.as she put it. Then came the time to let Skork in, as the Orcs were about that point where they were defeated. “Skork!” she shouted, and all the other Orcs began chanting it too. “Skork! Skork! Skork!” Tia tried her best to not laugh at the dumb name, and stay in character. It was really hard not to though, with everyone chanting it so seriously. She managed to let it all out when a lone human walked forward to confront Skork, prompting the Orcs to laugh. Tia laughed for a different reason though.

The shield walls parted, and created an alleyway to the party facing her, and Skork. The brave human, a woman with dual swords, a spearman who looked way too cocky for his own good. And of course, there was the green haired beast-kin she had been watching the whole time. The gang rushed forward and Grunka moved the reins to control Skork, prompting him to attack. Skork had been ordered by the Warlock to hold back during the fight, exceptions being while the shield wall was parting, and for mercy kills.

Well, the woman with the swords came next and actually cut Skork, who pretended it hurt - since he also had his pain reduced to under 10%. But Skork lost his balance and accidentally stood on the woman with a clawed leg, pinning her to the floor. Poor girl began drowning in her own blood, and begged for a mercy kill. Grunka tried not to wince at that, drowning was also one of her phobias.

With that poor lady dealt with, the battle continued. The cocky spearman had tried to ram Grunka through with his spear, while Skork was busy killing the woman to stop her from drowning. Grunka had seen it coming and grabbed the guy's spear. Innuendo aside, she was stronger and stole the thing from the poor lad, leaving him defenseless. “Mine now!” she grinned. She discovered that she enjoyed being mean as an Orc, though she supposed she always had a slight sadism in her. Given the brutal combat encounters she would throw at her players when she was DM in D&D.

That guy was out of the fight and tried to run, so Grunka tried to have Skork cut him up, only to be blocked by the brave human shieldsman. “Uh oh”, she thought, as she noticed Skorks claw getting stuck in the shield. It was then she noticed the little beast-kin badass run at her. “Foolish, she thought, “an easy kill. She had Skork try to slice the poor fox down the middle, but then Skork lost his balance and she fought to stay mounted. “Damn it, the shieldsman. She looked to her left to see the Beast-kin leaping at her, “uh oh. She dropped the spear she stole and drew her scimitar in a swift arc, but in her panic had missed the girl's body and only caught her in the arm, cutting it off at the elbow.

Crunch.

“Ah, shit…” thought the dead corpse of Grunka. Pierced through the heart, the crunch must’ve been her ribs. She had died instantly, and it only felt like a sharp poke for a split second. She felt her now inanimate body slide off of Skork. “Great, my eyes are still open, now I can’t sleep until the Venn Machine.” Indeed, stimulus kept dead venned bodies aware, like other inanimate things. Without stimulus, you would just rest in a hazy sleep-like state. However, sight is stimulation, and thus she would be very aware, long after the noise stimulus of the front-lines had faded.

“That fox was badass, I would love to meet her after all this. When I'm not mean and green.” She thought to herself.

And so she did!

Zera - Dear diary

[Content warning: Odd humor, and cringy writing]

Dear diary,

Zera’s log, stardate whatever. I went to this crazy V-LARP thingy again with my bestest friend ever, Tia. She’s such a good friend, you know. She doesn’t care that I'm weird, not like the kids in school did. They always made fun of me for my compulsions. It comes in all shades you know, oh i guess that’s why it's called a spectrum.

Anyway, some with my disorder are like drones with no emotions, others get super brain smarts, and still others seem completely normal. Some though, like me, have obnoxious personalities, and very weird compulsions.

Why would I say that about myself? Well it’s true, I know I have problems. I get loud without realizing it, I forget personal space a lot, and I have a bunch of weird compulsions, and I really struggle understanding people, or reading the room. So yeah, it makes me sad sometimes, but my mom has been super supportive, and I managed to meet Tia! Yay!

This event was crazy, like somehow crazier than the last event. I mucked up that assassination attempt, last time. Oh don’t worry, diary thief, (or future me with amnesia), it’s not a real assassination. It’s In the game. I play this, like, super cute elf called Mimidora, I love that name.

Anyshizzle, last time I teamed up with my bestie, Tia, and her character, Grunka, to work for the Orc kingdom of Stormveil. Sounds like a Warcraft city, but whatever. It’s sandy, personally I don't like sand. It’s coarse and gets everywhere.

Orcs are only allowed in Stormveil, unlike other races who are free to go anywhere, and I didn't want to go in without Tia, who was dead set on becoming an Orc. So I, like, decided to work my backstory into hers and become her slave! Awesome right!? Not for real of course, that would be weird, and illegal, and I'm pretty sure slaves can't wear sneakers, which would suck.

But enough about 5 months ago! Let’s write about this event!

Friday was fun, me and Tia did like we always do at the event and hit up the Tavern. I hate alcohol as Zera, but for some reason I like it as Mimidora. Is this a compulsion too? I don’t know.

Anywazzit, we were in the tavern and I was feeling naughty! So I made a bet with some newbie orcs, they were cute but not a fan of the tusks tbh. I won and got to tie them to a bed all night! My elf is super sexy, so they probably thought it would be hot sex. But I'm not into that.

I don't think I've told anyone but I'm kind of asexual, I think. See, I like to look at nsfw, and I get horny a lot. I do masturbate too, but actually participating with another person?! Terrifying, I would never do it! Just can’t get with the idea, unattractive, total turn off. Yet I get turned on just watching? I’m so weird, but everyone says that anyway.

Anyshizzle, I tied those lads to the beds in the inn room, naked! Their flag poles were at full attention! So naughty! I forced their legs upwards and tied them to their arm restraints, they were horrified. Actually i’d never have done this if it wasn't for the Venn Machines pain reduction, I imagine it would hurt A LOT, especially all night, without it. Seriously, all night doing the splits, no... super splits!

Anybizzle, I left them there and went to sleep in a different room. In the morning I let them free, they tried to attack me for it, but I'm a pro assassin! And by that I mean, I watched as they hobbled very slowly at me. I guess, despite the pain reduction, their legs were still stiff.

I told them “it was just a prank bros!” They were too tired and decided to let it go, I think, that’s what Tia tells me. (I thought they were forgiving me.) I went down the stairs to the bar and saw Tia, oops, I mean Grunka, was still here. She must’ve stayed to watch over me, such a sweetie pie! She kept asking me what I did to those poor lads, I wouldn’t spill. That’s part of the prank too you see, she’d have to wait until after the event!

Tia thinks my pranks are sadistic, I was scared she wouldn’t want to be my friend after I pranked her once and she told me that. But she also told me she has a sadistic streak too! Wowza! Perfect bestie!

So anyfizzle, I went to go meet my, or I should say, Mimidora’s contact at the gates of Elador. Some noble dude was helping sneak assassins in, I forget his name, Barrel Cow? No that’s not it, anyrizzle, I went in a box and he pulled it on a handcart up to the castle. He must’ve given his character super strength or something, ‘cuz he carried the crate with me inside it from the handcart into the castle. Wild stuff!

So there was the princess, poor thing, she had to die so we could make the elves go to war with the humans. Or was that to make the humans go to war with the elves? Eh, tom-eight-o, tom-aught-o. (That’s like 8 and 8, b.t.dubs, i learned a thingy from german!)

Anyjazz, I threw the knife as planned, but one of the retainers heard it and saved the princess. Did not expect that, but I was expecting not to expect something, so it doesn’t count!

So after I said a naughty word, ‘cuz that's what people do when they make a mistake, I think, I took off down the hallways using the escape route the guy with the slicked back black hair and red eyes showed me.

Still don’t think his name is Barrel Cow...Baron Cow? Maybe, idk.

Anydazzle, that place is a maze or something! And one of the princesses' retainers was screaming naughty words at me, so rude! I gave up and jumped out a window, Elves have strong legs. I did a superhero landing! Gosh I wish Tia was there to take a picture!

So there I am, being chased by this girl, it was so much fun! We leapt over crates in the alleyway, knocked over some cabbages, it was a riot! So I'm like, running across the fields back to Elador and WHAM! She caught up with me, and we’re on the floor suddenly.

So I fight back of course, love that part. She uses a spear and tears open my stomach! Ouchie! Jk, pain reduction. Next, we’re staring each other down like in an anime. So cool! Epic even!

Anyglizzy, I was feeling like a villain and said sommit cool, i forget, probably “you’re epic, didn’t think the princess had a stand like you.”, wait, no, that’s Jojo...oh well.

She then gets really mad at me and charges me with her spear, so I do a big flip over her and behind her. I go for the kill, but it turns out she has chainmail on! I was so surprised! I thought, with how she caught up to me, she was in leather, or maybe nothing. Such a cool fox!

Anyshoe, she stabbed me through the chest while I was distracted by her chainmail. GGs! She got me good! Oh well, I have like 50 character ideas anyway, maybe i’ll be a gigachad male orc next time, that could be fun.

Then the saddest thing ever happened! I was dead, and you know how Venned people remain conscious? Like their body becomes like it does when you go inanimate, except you have good hearing, eyes, etc? So I watched the poor girl break down, I must've been the first person she had killed. I wanted so badly to hug her, but I was a corpse. That was torturous.

Luckily she closed my eyes, the cutie, and without constant visual input I was able to go to sleep. I woke up a few times to some loud noises from the front-lines, I guess I was close to them. Something about Shorks? Skates? Smores? I don't know, I don't care about Front-lines really, Tia loves it though.

I woke up to the voices of some Scottish guy talking, and a familiar voice. I think it was the cute beast-kin that killed me. I remember her voice from her talking to me after she recovered from the trauma of killing me, telling me I “messed her up” and to “sleep now” or something. Poor thing, I still really wanted to hug her.

Anyhats, the Scottish voice told the dead people to reassure the beast-girl when they got back to life, because she was sad. And gosh I really wanted to hug her. So the moment I was revived I found Tia. The Scottish voice, now a Scottish guy, told me where the beast-kin girl was. She looked different, but her face was the same.

Probably a newbie, they don’t change much the first time they go. So cute! I’m like her senior!

We chatted, and she just seemed like so much fun! Tia and I reassured her that dying wasn’t so bad. And I joked about meeting her sexy elf friend who I accidentally hit with my missed dagger. Apparently she lived, that’s crazy!

Found that out later on, from Sally’s Twitter. (She plays Emerelda, the princess im trying to kill) She always posts her adventures as a twitlonger on there, i love reading ‘em. Some people complain that they’re not as exciting as they used to be, now that she’s no longer a pirate, but I love them. Such different adventures from mine!

So, Sarah, the beast-girl who is awesome? I have her number now, and I’m totes gonna invite her for more Venn fun!

The same company, New World Incorporated, who run the V-LARP, also run V-Escape. An escape room thingy, I might drag Tia and Sarah into the SAW ones. Heheheheh!

Zera signing off the diary for tonight.

Hopefully any diary thieves, and maybe future me, enjoyed this!

P.S: Apparently Tia thought I had sex with the orc guys, I had to set her straight. I told her I'm not interested in sex, and also my prank. She laughed about the whole thing. She’s such a good friend! I love her lots!
