Susanna opened the door and stepped into her home. Immediately, she was hit with a hot, wet gust of air and sighed contentedly. A quick glance at the climate control panel showed her why: 86° F and 65% humidity, with the heating function of the AC set to the highest levels possible.

The cobra woman chuckled at this. This was actually the type of climate AC had been designed to mitigate, not to recreate. Any normal human would break a sweat immediately in this air, but to a snake like her, it was pure bliss. The heat filled her body with energy, and the humidity made her scaly hide feel all supple.

Of course it was hideously expensive to turn the heat up like this, and the high humidity had a multitude of adverse effects on the house and the furniture. Plus it made her husband in his vanilla human body feel miserable. So they didn't turn their house into a recreation of the African savanna that often. Only if he wanted to spoil her...

Susanna's snout curled into an anticipatory smile. He hadn't come greeting her either, which could only mean one thing... The evening had just become so much more better. And Tom, her husband, couldn't have chosen a better timing - work had been very stressful today, and she was in desperate need of some relaxation.

Quickly, she closed the door to keep the heat from escaping and slipped out of her shoes. Next the cobra woman went to their bedroom, stripping out of her clothes. She didn't like how the garments rubbed on her scales, but there was no alternative to wearing clothes at work. At home though, she was free to do as she liked, and within seconds, she was entirely nude, her clawed hands sliding sensually over her red scales.

The snake admired her body in the mirror. A tall, lithe, female humanoid, with luscious curves and a pair of firm breasts. But her whole body was covered in red scales, and instead of a human face, she sported a cobra's snout with large venom fangs, a forked tongue and emerald, slit pupils. Her hood was fanning out from behind her head, merging into her shoulders below, almost like a perfectly styled river of hair.

She loved making love to her husband in this body, but tonight, there would be no sex. There would be something just as good... Susanna stopped posing and went towards the kitchen. On the way, she let her tongue taste the air, immediately spotting a familiar scent. Had she still been human, her mouth would have started watering now, but since she was a snake, all she felt was a familiar throbbing in her venom glands.

Grinning, she went into the kitchen, immediately spotting the note Tom had left for her.

-Dinner is ready and waiting for you at the usual spot. Love, Tom- it said, just like Susanna had expected.

"I love you too, dear," she said, putting a finger on her lips and touching the note. Then she went over to the fridge, opening it and retrieving a bundle of carrots. Next she crossed over into the living room, her forked tongue still tasting the air. The scent she'd spotted earlier was becoming stronger now, and Susanna let loose an appreciative hiss as she looked upon the large cage in the corner.

Inside it, a smallish bunny girl crouched, munching on lettuce happily. The creature was approximately the size of a normal bunny, fully covered in soft, white fur. Her lower legs were just like a normal bunny's, but her front legs, with which she was feeding some leaves to her snout, were a cross of normal paws and hands. She also sported a fluffy bunny's tail and a pair of large bunny ears.

Now the ears swiveled towards Susanna and the girl turned her head around, revealing a cute face with two pairs of chisel teeth. As the bunny spotted the big cobra which stared at her desirously her pink eyes went wide and she squeaked up in alarm.

"Hmm..." Susanna mused while she stepped closer. "Same procedure as every time, Tom?" She cocked her head, waiting for a reaction.

Instead of an answer the little rabbit's paws fluttered, and it bolted into the safety of the little house which had been placed inside the cage, leaving a trail of lettuce behind.  The cobra giggled at the spectacle. "Same procedure as every time then."

Grinning, the snake woman stepped closer, her tongue fondly tasting the bunny's apprehension. Most of the little creature's body was hidden inside its lair, but Susanna could see its trembling nose and its large, frightened eyes just fine.

"Oh my, you're a cute one," she cooed, kneeling down and smirking into the bunny's anxious eyes toothily. "Here, a little treat for you... before you treat me." She opened the door and put the carrots down in front of the hideout's opening. Then she frowned. "Oh, what's that... your cage wasn't locked... what an oversight."

Smiling, she closed the door again and put the lock in place, sealing the bunny girl in. Of course it hadn't been an oversight. There was no way for Tom to close the lock after he'd entered the cage, but the little play only added to the whole fantasy.

"And now that your needs have been taken care of, I'll have to look for my other pets..." Without taking another look, the cobra woman went up again and left the room. Of course there'd be no way the bunny would leave her hiding place with her in the room, even with the alluring sight and smell of the fresh carrots in front of her. Not with a big predator like Susanna in the same room.

Therefore she left the bunny alone now. Susanna believed that every being deserved its last meal. Plus, she wanted the vitamins which were inside of these carrots.

For the next couple of hours, the snake woman tended to her real pets - two dozen exotic snakes, all stored in the basement. Snakes had gripped Susanna's interest since she'd been a child, and her collection of scaly pets had grown steadily for years now.

She didn't rush feeding and playing with her pets - she could have, but she also loved keeping Tom in suspense. He didn't know when she'd come back for dinner, to claim his, or rather her life, and the more nervous the bunny was, the better it tasted.

Finally, after her stomach had rumbled for the third time in five minutes, Susanna decided that it was time. Cautiously, she put the snake which she'd just cuddled with - a large Burmese python - back into its enclosure and gave it a last, loving stroke. "Mommy is going to eat now, too..." she said. "And she's been looking forward to her meal so, so much..."

As she entered the living room again and switched on the light, she immediately heard paws shuffling on hay as the bunny girl scampered back into its enclosure again.

Without haste, the cobra woman went to the cage and opened it, putting a clawed hand into the little house in which the bunny was hiding. She felt quivering fur and took hold of it, pulling the struggling bunny girl into the open. A half-eaten carrot fell out of its paws and the little creature squealed terrified, her kicking paws futilely hitting air as she was hoisted right in front of Susanna's inhuman face.

The snake flicked her tongue out, smacking the little furry girl's trepidation. She marveled at how real it tasted. Over the last few months, Tom had really managed to master his role of being her terrified prey to the point where she almost couldn't distinguish it from the real thing anymore. Besides, if you were a little bunny girl and a seven foot humanoid snake looked down on you hungrily, you didn't really have to fake the apprehension anymore, he'd told her.

"Oh my..." she whispered, "...today you're really exquisite." The strong smell of fear the bunny secreted was intoxicating, and Susanna brought her snout a big closer to taste more of it, bringing it into reach of the bunny girl's hind legs, and one of her frantic kicks connected at last.

"Ouch, hey!" Susanna protested and put the struggling bunny at arm's reach. The kick hadn't hurt much, but it had surprised and angered her. "My food is getting uppity, huh?" She asked, slightly annoyed. "Well, we can't have that..."

The cobra hissed once evilly and then opened her mouth wide, her big, venomous fang glistering with drops of a clear liquid. The bunny girl squealed loudly at the horrific sight, and then Susanna bit down, sinking her fangs deep into the bunny's flank. The little thing squeaked in pain, but the woman didn't release her jaws, tasting blood and feeling how her venom flowed into her prey.

It wasn't a dangerous venom, of course. Venn Machines didn't create truly venomous creatures. A human would probably only have felt some tingling and a bit of localized numbness. But the bunny girl was a fraction of the mass of a human, and for such a small shape, Susanna's venom was more than potent enough to thoroughly paralyze.

She could already feel how the bunny's kicks grew weaker, and finally she released her jaws. Then she put the bunny girl down onto the table. The poor thing was quivering madly now, with a bit of blood seeping out of her bite wounds. Her pink eyes were still fixed on Susanna, regarding the large cobra fearfully, but apart from some twitching, she seemed fully paralyzed now.

The cobra woman stroked the crippled rabbit's fur lovingly. "Don't worry my dear, it will soon be over..." She said soothingly. "Because now..." A weird clack sounded as she unhinged her lower jaw, opening up a dreadful maw. "...I'm going to eat you."

The bunny girl's eyes went wide in alarm as Susanna crouched down and let her tongue slither over the bunny's feet. Then, slowly, she shoved her gaping mouth over the bunny girl's legs. Her little paws disappeared in the snake's gullet and Susanna gulped, her powerful neck muscles grabbing hold of the bunny's limbs and pulling her deeper down. Another gulp. Now the shins went in. And another gulp, the bunny had been swallowed up to its thighs now.

More and more of the quivering, terrified bunny girl disappeared in Susanna's throat, until only her head was left. The doomed creature managed a last, desperate whimper, a last pleading look for mercy. At last, even the head was pulled behind the cobra's mighty fangs. The last sight this little bunny girl would ever see was Susanna slowly closing her maw, and then there was only darkness.

The snake woman paused for a few moments, enjoying the feeling of the bunny girl's twitching ears in her mouth, before she did the final swallow which sent the bunny onto its last journey, deep down into her stomach.

This was the part Susanna loved the most. At this point, the bunny girl was still alive, and the cobra closed her eyes in relish as she imagined the utter terror the poor little thing must feel right now. The heat, the pressure, the darkness, the lack of air as she was pulled down...

As if on cue, she felt how the little body inside her started jerking, desperately gasping for air which would never come. Lovingly, she laid a clawed hand on the bulging spot between her chest and her neck where the bunny was currently sliding down and felt her frantic death throes through her skin. "Don't worry, honey..." She said soothingly. "I'm with you. Not much longer... it's almost over... I'm here for you..."

The movements in her esophagus peaked for a moment, and then they started getting weaker... and weaker... and weaker. Until they stopped altogether a couple of minutes later. It was finally over.

Susanna basked in the near-orgasmic stupor her meal had left her in. She felt how the now dead body of the bunny girl settled in her stomach, and could almost imagine how her stomach acid was starting to work and digest the creature. For the next couple of days she would be quite lethargic, letting her stomach do all the work after she'd gorged herself.

Normally, it would take her even longer to properly digest all of it, but Tom usually only Venned himself for a couple of days. He'd told her that he quite liked the feeling of being digested by his lover, of slowly becoming part of her body, but he didn't want to spend weeks like this. And even though Susanna had been disappointed, she could, of course, understand her husband.

The cobra woman sighed, happily patting her filled belly. Well, you couldn't have everything. Ponderously, she moved over to the couch, letting herself plop down unceremoniously. "Hm... what to do now without my husband..." she mused while reaching for the television remote. Then she shrugged. "I guess I'll start with The Lion King..." Susanna giggled. "I always loved the circle of life..."
