So, a little... okay, a LONG time ago, I wrote a story set in <span class="username-with-symbol u"><a class="u regular username" href="https://www.deviantart.com/dkfenger" target="_self">dkfenger</a><span class="user-symbol regular" data-quicktip-text="" data-show-tooltip="" data-gruser-type="regular"></span></span> 's Trust Machines universe.&nbsp; It was intended as a one shot, where a woman that had been picked on in high school by a group of mean girls got revenge on them.&nbsp; It was supposed to end with her wearing them out to an awards dinner in her honor.&nbsp; But it just seemed to keep going, until it ended one of the original bullies got the better of her.&nbsp; <br /><br />Of course, I couldn't leave it there, and a sequel was written where the woman's husband had to rescue her from the bully.&nbsp; I had a plan to end the trilogy with the rescue woman seeking some resolution for stuff that she did in the first story.&nbsp; This is that story.<br /><br />BTW, I was done with the bully that turned the tables on her.&nbsp; So, when dkfenger asked if he could use her instead, I gladly gave him permission.&nbsp; And being the faster writer, he quickly ran up something like a gazillion stories using her and other characters from my second story.&nbsp; If I was move computer literate, I'd link you to them, but I'm not.&nbsp; Just go to his DA page.&nbsp; They're there.<br /><br />For time placement purposes, this one is set a couple of days after my second story, which would set it in the same time frame as dkfenger's first follow-up.<br /><br />Enjoy.
