Musings on how the Trust Machines world would handle a pandemic led to story-writing.&nbsp; Noticing that <span class="username-with-symbol u"><a class="u regular username" href="https://www.deviantart.com/kelannpoole" target="_self">Kelannpoole</a><span class="user-symbol regular" data-quicktip-text="" data-show-tooltip="" data-gruser-type="regular"></span></span>'s birthday was coming up accelerated the process, and inspired a scene (Week Six).&nbsp; Happy birthday, Kel!<br /><br />I am not trying to comment on world affairs with this.&nbsp; SARS-3 is a different beastie (notably in that it's harder on kids, a particularly vulnerable segment in the Trust Machines setting).&nbsp; My intent is to have some fun imagining more positive outcomes in my favorite imaginary world.<br /><br />I'm not entirely sure if this is canon or not, despite the presence of a familiar face.&nbsp; I do want to shake things up around Year 4, and this works... though another shakeup is in the wings as well.&nbsp; I feel it also helps bridge between one pool of stories where venning is commonplace and eagerly accepted and another pool of "early" stories where people are uncertain and unfamiliar with Venn Machines.
