This story first appeared in Water in the Sky: a TG Mixed Tape, which was released just a couple of days ago on TGStorytime and BigCloset and will appear on Fictionmania when it's processed by their volunteer team.  I've considered posting the new TG Mixed Tapes to DeviantArt as well, but the way DA  structures things makes it cumbersome to post multi-part stories, much less an anthology by multiple authors, and I'm not sure it would be worth it.
