Kieros stepped into the air conditioned convention hall, adjusting her mask as she did. She had no real plans for the convention, she just wanted to see all the panels and cool cosplays that would no doubt litter the convention center. “I wonder if I can find a group to join.”

Kieros said, starting to walk around the groups. She approached a group of cosplayers who were fans of Kid Icarus Uprising, she could tell due to the abundance of Palutenas, Pits, Dark Pits, and more characters. “Oh cool! Maybe I can-“ Kieros said before getting a blast or aerosol all over her.

“Oh shit, sorry!” A young man said to her as he put his cosplay can away. “This isn’t good.” He said, watching the girl he accidentally sprayed start to shrink down.

Kieros’ black hair began to ruffle and get messier than it already was, a golden laurel wrapping around her head. Her mask fell off revealing that her face has already changed into Dark Pit’s face, her eyes now brown and her chin growing out to a sharp point. Her baggy clothes began to thin away, leaving only a black toga to cover her changing body. Her small breasts shrank away as muscles began to form on her arms, her waist popping out while her hips shrank. Large bracelets covered Kieros’ arms while her shoes turned to sandals. Big wings unfurled from Kieros’ back, covered in black wings as her gender quickly swapped. Kieros had become Dark Pit. His changers weren’t finished yet, Kieros’ mind began to change, memories and usual habits began to fade to the back of his mind. He wasn’t Kieros, he was Dark Pit. He was an angle that worked with the goddess of light, Palutena. He had an annoying clone called Pit that always got on his nerves.

Dark pit shook his head, snapping back into focus after zoning out. “Where am I? This doesn’t look like Lady Palutena’s temple.” Dark Pit said, looking around the center. His jaw dropped when he saw the numerous cosplayers of Pit, Palutena, and himself. “What the heck is going on here! I gotta get out of her and find the real Palutena and Pit!” Dark Pit said, running out of the convention center.

“…that might be a problem.” The convention goers who accidentally sprayed Kieros said to himself.

Dark Pit burst through the convention hall doors and jumped up to take to the skies… only to fall and hit the ground. “No! My powers don’t work! What’s going on!” He shouted, frustrated.

“I’m afraid we’re all powerless Pittoo.” A Palutena cosplayer said, walking up to the Angel.

Dark Pit began to back away, not sure if this was the real Palutena. He stopped when he realized that she called him by that dumb nickname Pit gave him. “Ha, looks like you’re not that powerful after all.” He said, giving some sass to the green haired goddess.

“Like you’re one to talk Pittoo.” Pit said, taking his place next to his goddess.

“Stop calling me Pittoo!” Dark pit said, getting up in Pit’s face before he was pushed back by a tiny blonde girl.

“Alright you two, don’t fight now. We still have to figure out what’s going on, now let’s get a move on!” Virdi said, leading the three brainwashed cosplayers towards the convention center. Looking for answers that weren’t there.
