Karen and Miyu sat in the formers apartment. “So Miyu, you wanna explain what this is?” She said shaking the vial in her hand. Her best friend had came to visit her at college because of a nearby Gun Gale Online convention. She busted into her apartment with a large box and two vials wrapped carefully not to break them.

Miyu tilted her glasses with a smirk on her face. “These, are transformation vials!” She said holding up hers.

Karen stared at them in shock. “Aren’t these super expensive!?!” She asked.

“Normally yes but since you and I won that squad jam sponsored by the company that makes them. So they sent me the vials for our Gun Gale characters.” Miyu explained.

Karen went wide eyed. “I can… become Llenn?” She asked with stars in her eyes.

“Yep, I can be come Fukaziroh!” Miyu said with excitement. “I heard about the convention and got us tickets and made…” she trailed off, walking towards the box she brought. She opened it and pulled out costumes that looked almost identical to Llenn and Fuka’s outfits in Gun Gale. “These! We can’t go as Llenn and Fuka without their outfits.”

The stars slowly faded from Karen’s eyes. “But… is this safe? Will I be stuck as Llenn?” Karen said with a hint of worry.

“It’s totally fine. These are approved by the government and they sent me videos of people changing into Llenn and Fuka and changing back. It’s completely fine.”

Karen let out a sigh of relief. “How did you know the measurements for the costumes though?” She asked out of curiosity.

“Options in the game gave me the measurements of my character. That’s why I asked to go on your account that one day.” Miyu explained, laying out the costumes on the nearby table.

“Alright! I’ll do it, when’s the convention?” Karen said with newfound excitement.

“It’s starts in an hour and it’s about thirty minutes away by train so we gotta change and go.” Miyu said sitting down. “I wanna watch you change though.”

Karen shook as she uncapped the serum in her hand. Her heartbeat was erratic as she couldn’t bear the anticipation. She drank down the vial in one go. Karen didn’t feel anything different but Miyu suddenly got excited. “Karen! Your hair!” She said.

Karen turned around to face her mirror. Strands of Karen’s hair were turning from black to brown and was reduced to a short boyish cut. Karen gasped and started feeling the new hair as she slowly started shrinking out of the mirror’s view. Her body frame got smaller as she shrank, her clothes starting to fit her less and less. Her blue eyes turned brown as the got bigger.  By the time Karen stopped shrinking, she looked like a small child playing in her mom’s clothes. She stepped out of them to admire her new body. “This… this is exactly what I’ve dreamed of!” Karen screamed out in excitement.

She ran off towards the table and grabbed her outfit. She put on the pink army fatigues and strapped on the pads and pouches. Karen picked up the replica of her precious “P-chan” and went back to her mirror, all that stared back was Llenn.

“Miyu, shouldn’t you…” Karen said turning around to see Miyu down her serum. “Already ahead me, got it.” She said hopping up onto the bed.

Her short brown hair turns blonde and grew out and down her back. Her eyesight improved as she began to shrink down like her best friend did. Her brown eyes got bigger and became a little red on the edge. Her body frame shrank as her clothes hung on her as well. She stepped out of her clothes and watched as her body shrank. She walked over to the table and started picking up her fatigues when her body stopped shrinking. She picked up the two fake grenade launchers and turned to her pink friend. “Let’s get going Llenn!”
