I'm back from the laundry room, which means my girlfriend and I are ready for our monthly Hot Tub Movie Night.
Of course, our little apartment doesn't have a hot tub, and even if it did, there probably wouldn't be a TV near it.
So by 'hot tub,' I mean 'big fleece comforter fresh out of the dryer, wadded up in the laundry basket.' Nice and cozy, and it's easy to prop up on the couch.
Neither of us could fit ourselves into the laundry basket, obviously, and definitely not both of us at once. Fortunately, there are ways around that.
By the time I've got the comforter folded up just right, my girlfriend already has the movie cued up to start, and she's lying on the floor dismantled in front of the couch. I set the basket on the cushions, and I start arranging her in the warmest parts of the comforter. By now, I know just how she likes it.
I get the remote near my hand before putting my own arm and head in there with her. There's not enough room in here for both of us to be completely in, but we know which parts to include if we want to get properly cozy.
Once our heads are nestled together in the warm folds, I press play.
