Wow. Both Aife and Maisie's sections were particularly hard for me to write. For Aife and Zeigh, the scene required a sense of tension and fast paced action. Those types of scenes are really hard to write, I find. I get swept up as I'm writing but my typing is so much more slower than the scene playing in my head. Hopefully, I captured enough details to make the scene make some sort of sense. For Maisie, a body modification scene can be erotic. I hope that this one is despite the impersonal cruelty. Hey, these are fictional characters and they will suffer severely, but I am not here for the forces of darkness. Sun will again shine on... well... some of these characters.<br /><br />I find that I am learning more and more about the world and the characters with every passage. I mean... what the hell are metal gypsies? Oh, yes, we will see, dear friends. One day... And what happened to the sorceress sentenced to the Joppa dungeons so long ago?
