Edgar - a criminal middleman experienced with forging metal and designing locks.

Bethesda, Lucy, and the Blue bird - Bethesda is a witch; Blue bird is her familiar; Lucy is her unseen daughter who lives in the basement.

Ileana, Karma - Ileana, the Grave Keeper, is the creature dispatched to keep a poor chained and buried human woman alive for a long time. Karma, the Slave Woman, is the victim.
