This representation of the Greek goddess comes from George Pichard&#8217;s graphic novel <i>Ulysses</i>, published in 1991, which recasts Homer&#8217;s classic <i>Odyssey</i> tale in a science-fiction setting. The gods are given advanced technological powers -- their home on Mount Olympus is a futuristic flying craft -- while the mortal humans, as in the original, are still very much in the Bronze Age.
