“Tell me about yourself.”

“My parents knew something was odd when I was born with six nipples. Then at puberty, they all started to develop into breasts. My mum and dad wanted to cut the extra ones off, but I rebelled. I was stubborn—even at that age, I didn’t want anybody messing with my body. So they let me have my way. But they warned me it wouldn’t be easy for me.”

“How was it growing up?”

“My parents were right: people just didn’t know how to react to me. So I started keeping more and more to myself. Then I found out that ‘polymastia” is a known medical condition, and that there were other girls in a similar situation. It was amazing to discover I wasn’t alone!”

“Is that why you founded the Multibreast Club?”

“Exactly! It was a chance for girls like me to get together and not feel so strange any more.”

“Do you wear a bra?”

A chuckle. “I just can’t find any. Nobody seems to make them for those like me. I’ve asked!”
