Rosalie Fournier was a real 19th-century celebrity. She didn’t really have breasts on the ends of her leg-stumps, but she was fancifully described that way.

And she did have a total of ten fingers, just like most of us. Only they were distributed a little oddly...

Addendum: Thought I would explain a little more about her, since there seems no description on the Web. I first read about her in the book Human Oddities by Martin Monestier (originally written in 1978, the English edition was published in 1987). This one seriously claimed she had breasts on the ends of her stumps. But another description I saw elsewhere (I forget where) made it clear this was pure fancy, that her stumps were really just small, malformed legs.

It does seem to be true about her fingers, though.
