You see the two of us together, always, inseparable. They joke about
some people being so close, it’s like they’re “joined at the hip”. Well,
we are literally joined, at more than the hip. Conjoined, from the
base of our necks to the base of our spines, so closely and so
perfectly, with one head, arm and leg, and (almost) exactly half a
torso each, in such a way that we can never be separated, so
seamlessly merged that we really do look like a girl with two heads.
But what about...those private matters? When two individuals share
one body, every minute and every second of every day, what does that mean
for certain...bodily functions that one normally keeps to oneself? We
know people wonder. Sometimes they even get brave enough to ask. But
we never tell. Have never told. Until I write this now.
Yes, we do have sexual feelings. And when one gets aroused, the other
one does, too. We can be sitting demurely, legs crossed, and one of us will
move her thigh ever so slightly against the other, just for a bit of mild
pleasure. We have one tit each, and it’s nice sometimes to press
them against each other, and feel them bounce and rub, like when we go
for a run, braless. There’s more than one reason why we’re panting so
heavily after one or two rounds of the park...
And we’ve kissed each other, too. Does that surprise you? It seems
natural to us, when we get aroused, both our hands busy on our pleasure
parts, to work on the other sister’s side as much as our own side. Is it
mutual masturbation, or is it sex? We don’t know. We don’t even think
about it, much. Should we care?
And sometimes, we just lie quietly, and trace that line, the invisible
seam where one individual ends and the other begins; between the breasts,
down the torso, towards the crotch. A line that is almost, but not
quite, straight. And just as it gets down between our legs, to that centre
of pleasure, that fount of ecstasy, it takes a slight bend...to the left.
Face plays cruel tricks on people sometimes. Giving us half a body
each may seem like one to you, but to us it is normality. We don’t
mind being continually in each other’s company. We literally hold each
other up when we stand. Walking and running are a matter of teamwork
so close that we no longer consciously think about it. Even eating and
washing and going to the toilet are joint activities, just part of
everyday routine for us. I don’t know what it would be like to have a
right arm or right leg, while my sister has no experience of having a
left arm or left leg. But of all the body parts that the “unjoined”
(as we call “normal” people) have only one of, there is one crucial
one we do not get to share.
Because, you see, she has the sex organs, and I don’t. The dividing
line goes close to my thigh around the crotch, not hers. As we play
with our bodies, our breasts, our nipples, our buttocks, all the
erogenous zones that women have, the one source of ultimate sexual
pleasure is the one part that I cannot share. I watch her mount the
peak of sexual climax, and grunt and groan herself to fulfilment, but
all I feel is a vague leakage of warmth, just the side-effect of the
increased blood-flow and heart rate, little more. I get aroused, all
right, but I don’t get to come. For me, it’s a slow climb halfway up
the peak, and then another slow climb back down again, while my
sister, my lover, my lifelong body-mate, goes to the top and gets to
take the special roller-coaster route.
She has the orgasms, and all I can do is watch.
