Shorter chapter, but there's an interesting plot development!

Fun fact: as you may or may not have noticed (which you probably did if you read my note at the beginning of the last part) Sophia's grandfather is the first male to even be mentioned in this story, unless you count people who never had a gender specified. Remember I said I'd be reluctant to do it because it would require a specific choice that would, to me, feel awkward to make, even if never doing so would possibly make the story feel awkward? Well I just so happened to find myself in a situation where it was the more natural choice. I think it's because that part was unintentionally inspired, for some reason, by a commercial I used to see occasionally as a kid. In the commercial, this kid's grandpa or uncle or something comes into his/her room cause the kid can't sleep, and somehow does magical things with his/her toys. The commercial didn't involve imprinting or transformation however (at least not that I remember) and I don't remember what it was advertising. Does any of that sound familiar to anyone else?
