Andrew was nearly finished getting ready. It was getting close to sundown when he finally finished getting the outside of his house decorated for Halloween. Everything looked perfect for handing out candy for children, but he wasn’t ready yet – he still needed to get in-costume.
It hadn't been easy for him to perfect the potion necessary to create the change, considering that the species didn’t exist in this world, but that was beside the point. With a rough idea of what he needed to do, it wasn’t too difficult to fulfill his goals, but it was still time consuming. Perhaps what was more time consuming than the potion itself was the high-tech futuristic armor that he “borrowed” from an alternate world. What Andrew had first done was travel to this world with the help of his friend Keegan through the loan of schematics for an interdimensional travel device he called the “Pod”. Andrew built his own in his lab with Keegan’s help, although Keegan was rather reluctant. Using this device he traveled there and stole the DNA of the species he was planning to become for Halloween.
Then, he became the species he needed and went back to the same world to “borrow” the armor. This wasn’t hard in and of itself, but the time it took to go through all the steps to achieve the perfect costume was a few weeks, and that was with some generous rounding. But here he was, standing in his lab, the armor sitting in a pile on the table next to a small tray with three glowing blue vials of liquid. It was time.
Andrew took one of the blue potions and drank it down in one gulp. He shuddered as it coursed through his throat and down to his stomach, and he felt an ice cold chill rush through his body. He closed his eyes and dropped the empty vial to the floor… and a moment before it could shatter across the concrete, it stopped in a light blue, glowing aura. Andrew concentrated and lifted it up as his hands and fingers started to slim, becoming a light blue. Setting the vial down he opened his eyes as they became a little larger and his features began to soften, the skin across his body turning blue. His hair slowly started to harden and fold back from his forehead across the back of his head, separating into long thick segments that looked not unlike tentacles.
Andrew held onto the table tightly as his body’s curves began to invert as his hips widened, his abdomen and waist curving inwards as his chest swelled, breasts growing in. They were a moderate size, but his… her new body gave her a rather cute hourglass shape. Andrea smiled at her new form.
“Let’s hope I can put that Asari potion to good use,” she said, taking off her very ill-fitting clothes, picking up the Phoenix armor from the table and beginning to put it on. After some time trying to figure out how it all fit together, she posed in front of the mirror and smiled. “I look quite convincing if I say so myself…” she said, pleased with how her work turned out. In twelve hours it would wear off, but it wasn’t like she was planning on going out anytime soon. Handing out candy was what she had planned and she hoped nothing would interrupt that. She wasn’t a huge fan of surprises.

Later that night, several kids had come and gone, many in awe of her costume. One of the ones on their own for the night, a little boy in a makeshift robot costume, looked up at her, in silent surprise.
“That’s a nice costume…” Andrea giggled, enjoying the reactions of parents and children alike. “Did you make it yourself?”
“That’s right, ma’am!” The kid said cutely.
“That’s great!” Andrea said approvingly. “I did mine, as well.” The kid stared up at her blankly.
“Woah! That’s… uh, it’s a great Na’vi costume, miss, I loved Avatar!”
Andrea stared at him for a few moments before smiling lightly. “Thank you… you’re a very polite young man.” Her smile faded as the kid turned and walked away happily and she sighed.
“That’s the third kid who thinks I’m a Na’vi… I should’ve just gone with the Pikachu potion.” She muttered as she closed the door on the outside world.
