Time Share: Part 2

"Finally!" Keyba exclaimed as he held Nathaniel up a good few feet above the ground by his neck. He could feel the fox anthro struggle for breath. "I got you! Any last words?"

"Da…" Nathaniel struggled to say. "Daw…"

"What's that?" Keyba taunted. "I can't hear you, smart mouth." He snorted. This moment brought back some good memories, like the last time Keyba had Nathaniel in his grip.

Keyba threw Nathaniel's body to the ground and roared in triumph.

"Call upon the Master!" he shouted in glee at Gabrielle. "Tell him that I managed to do what you
could not! I killed Nathaniel!" Gabrielle, a wolf anthro with dark red fur, frowned. She turned, speaking to one of the bystanders softly, before turning back. The bystander ran, delivering the message. Both of them knew that The Master would be there in moments.

Sure enough, in a minute, The Master appeared and approached Nathaniel's body. No one had ever seen his face, all they knew was that he remained shrouded in a black cloak at all times, and that he was a bull… besides that, almost nothing was known about him. Some said that The Master was a demon.

"His head has not been crushed," The Master simply said. Keyba blinked.

"But… sir, his heart has stopped! He is dead!" Keyba said, expecting praise.

"Fool!" The Master exclaimed, turning towards him. For a moment, Keyba saw a glimpse of angry red eyes, then nothing. "Have you been taught nothing? Simply because his body is dead doesn't mean that he is."

"I don't under…"

"His soul!" The Master exclaimed. "His soul could be making contact in the Otherworld and bonding to a human!"

"You shouldn't blame Keyba for his lack of foresight," Gabrielle said softly. "He is a warrior, it isn't in his nature to think." Keyba growled, but she smiled. At that instant, he knew that Gabrielle had expected this soul business, and purposefully got him into this situation with The Master. Keyba would have called her a bitch if she wasn't The Master's second in command. The Master reached for him.

"It is not too late," he said, grabbing Keyba's head. "There is still time to stop him." With that, Keyba's vision was filled with white light.

Keyba was momentarily blinded from the rising sun, and he stepped back, away from the window. As he did, he felt his strength falter; soon Nathaniel was too heavy to hold up, and Keyba dropped him. Shocked, he looked down at himself, trying to figure out what was wrong with him. His eyes widened as he saw his fur start to thin, revealing not just bare skin, but bare human skin. Before his eyes, Keyba's body was shrinking in mass, weight, and height.

"What?" Keyba exclaimed. Nathaniel, who had quickly recovered, only laughed.

"It's dawn," he said. "Looks like somebody lost track of time."

"It's not fair!" Keyba shouted. "I had you!" Nathaniel's body began to lose it's features as well, breasts soon growing as his fur became patchy in places, also revealing human skin. Keyba's body did likewise, breasts quickly forming as his genitals started to shrink. Keyba took a step forward, trying one last time to eliminate the man changing before him, but before he could, something else took over.

Keyba blinked, staring at the world around him. There was nothing but white, just endless white everywhere. It dizzied him for a moment, until he felt something get a firm grip on his shoulder.

"There!" The Master pointed. Keyba just stared, speechless. There stood Nathaniel, in front of what looked like a hole… or was it a door? Nathaniel looked behind him, and upon seeing them, returned his gaze to the door.

"No time," he heard Nathaniel say. "I need your help, okay? I'm dead…"

"Well, what are you waiting for, fool?" The Master demanded. "Stop him! Kill him once and for all!" Keyba nodded and turned back toward Nathaniel and paused momentarily. Now his foe seemed to be an impossible distance away. It seemed the laws of this in-between world was easily changed. Keyba charged, not wanting to disappoint his master.

You never disappoint The Master.

He was close now, so close. He watched as Nathaniel reached out to touch the door, and there was an almighty flash that blinded him. He stopped as soon as he could. He could sense the Master behind him, and he wasn't happy.

"You let him escape?" The Master shouted. "How did you let him get away?"

"Master, I…"

"Silence!"

Keyba quieted himself. There were a few minutes of unbearable silence, and then The Master spoke up once more.

"There is one way you can turn this around in our favor," The Master said.

"Anything."

"You will go into this human world, and soul-bond with one of the inhabitants. Every time you are in control, you will hunt this Nathaniel down and crush his head, wherever and whoever he might be hiding as or in. Do you understand?" Keyba nodded, not wanting to upset him. Upsetting The Master was another thing you never did. "I want to hear you say it."

"I understand," Keyba affirmed.

"Good," The Master said, and a door, much like the one Nathaniel was in front of, seemed to rip itself open out of the very fabric of whatever this world was. "Do whatever you have to do," The Master said. With that, he was gone, and Keyba was left alone. Taking a deep breath, he stepped up to the doorway and watched as the image on the other side began shifting, forming figures and backgrounds. Finally, he smiled. He had found the perfect target.

By this time, Nathaniel's tail had almost disappeared, retracted into what was now Lindsay's spine. Her voice changed, returning to normal, and Lindsay blinked.

"Like, ow!" She complained. "My throat is, like, so sore…" Keyba's weight and muscle had all but disappeared, tissue and fat repositioning themselves to give a now undoubtedly her rather large breasts, testicles folding up and forming a vagina. Keyba's mind was pushed back as Carol regained control of her body. Instantly, she knew what had happened, as hard as it was for her to believe.

"Oh, my!" Carol exclaimed. "What did I almost do?" By this time, most of the fur had disappeared, and the shoulder armor that had fit Keyba perfectly was now sliding around her waist, the trousers Keyba had been wearing was already pooled around the floor at her feet.

Lindsay was just as far along as Carol, orange fur disappearing and her blonde hair was returning and lengthening as well. Their faces pushed in, nose and mouth separating as they went into the final stages of transformation.

"Like, did I do another 'Donkey Show'?" Lindsay wondered out loud as the two returned to their human forms.

Carol was out walking with her husband, Time, when the door opened in front of her. When it did, she shouted in fear and gripped Tim's arm tightly.

"What is it?" Tim asked, worried.

"Don't you see it?" Carol asked, pointing at the door. "It's right there!"

"Carol, I…" At first, it seemed he didn't see it, but then his eyes widened. "Oh God…" He murmured. "What is it?"

"I… I don't know," Carol replied, reaching out. "But… I'm going to find out."

"Carol, don't touch it, we don't know what it does!" Tim exclaimed.

"Tim, no one knows what it does," Carol replied, her fingers brushing the surface of the door.

Then everything changed.

A strange form appeared on the other side of the door. It looked like a half man, half warthog. Before Carol could step away, it put it's hand (?) on Carol's and she shrieked, as if she could feel it. There was a bright flash… and the door was gone. Carol held her hand as if in pain.

"C-Carol, honey?" Tim asked uneasily. "Are you alright?" Carol shook, a small moan coming out of her mouth as it slowly turned into a laugh that chilled Tim to the bone.

"Your wife isn't in right now," A deeper, more animal voice replied as Carol began to grow. "Please leave a message."

Carol covered herself up as much as she could

"Eww!" She exclaimed at Lindsay's suggestion. Lindsay tried to keep her skirt, the waist now stretched beyond measure and barely covering her groin, up.

"Like, I wonder how Big Jack is doing," She said. It wasn't clear whether she was teasing Carol or if she was serious.

"Stop, just… stop!" Carol said. "Story time is over!" Quickly picking up the remains of Keyba's pants, he immediately headed over towards a nearby payphone. Picking it up, she informed the operator that she would like to make a collect call. Eventually, she ended up with her husband on the other line.

"Hi, Tim," She said. "Yeah, it's me, I'm back now… Lindsay's here too." There was a pause as she listened to what Tim was saying. "I don't know, but it was close. Closer than what I would like." Another pause. "I know, honey, but… we have to keep working through this. We'll find a way to stop him for good." Carol looked over at Lindsay, who was simply waiting for her to finish. "I promise," She finally said. Informing her husband of their location, she went back to Lindsay.

"So… what now?" Lindsay asked.

"Now? Now… we part ways until tomorrow morning," Carol sighed. "Listen, I'm… I'm sorry for whatever happened…"

"Don't worry about it, I'm not dead, am I?" Lindsay replied. "Like… I'm not dead, right?"

"No… which is good," Carol said. "But… I just can't help but feel responsible for whatever happens…"

"Like, don't worry," Lindsay smiled. "Things will work out, like, give it time." Carol looked at the rising sun.

"I hope you're right," She said softly. "For everyone's sake."
