ALEX
"Will Alex Field please come to Gate 19, please? Alex Field, Gate 19." You sigh, getting up from your seat and slinging your backpack over your shoulder as you do. You had arrived at the airport five hours ago, and you are tired, annoyed, and ready to snap at the first person who tried to talk to you into feeling calm. Screw calm! Your flight was cancelled three hours ago for no goddamn reason! You storm to the desk at Gate 19.
"I'm Alex Field," You say to the attendant.
"Yes, Mister Field, we've paged you especially because... well, you're late for your flight," She tells you, sensing your anger.
"What flight? It was cancelled." You say, frustrated.
"Yes, but all of the passengers on that flight were transferred to other flights around the airport," She explains. "You were transferred to this one. You should have been told that at the previous gate."
"No, I wasn't told that!" You exclaim.
"Well, you're here now," The attendant says, and grudgingly, you walk into the hallway she motions to. Continuing down the hallway, you open your mouth to counteract the pressurized air. Walking into the plane, you keep your gaze down. You have a feeling that you're the last passenger to arrive, but you don't care. You glance at your ticket, and memorize your seat number. Only looking up to find your seat, you take it and sigh, closing your eyes. It has been a very, very long day.
The plane shakes, waking you up. You look around. There's a banging sound from behind you, and you figure it's the wing, or something. You give a little laugh. Just one more thing to add to the list of things going wrong. A second, then a third shake sends you almost flying out of your seat, if it weren't for your seat belt. Now you're worried: is the plane going to crash? There's a horrible metallic ripping sound and the plane suddenly lurches to the left. The wind rushes through the plane as the canopy is somehow ripped off, and the oxygen mask falls in front of you. You grab it, your heart pounding as the plane shakes. Lights flash and you can barely hear the screams of the passengers around you over the sound of the plane falling out of the air. You close your eyes. This is not how you wanted to die.
You open your eyes.
The plane is dark, and suddenly ends a few rows in front of you. You sit at an awkward angle, as if the plane was on a tilt. Holes poke in from the outside, letting sunlight in. Oxygen masks dangle from the over head compartments, bodies limp in their seats. If you had been sitting any closer to the front, you would have been crushed. You can see a body sticking half out of the crushed part of the plane, blood running down the wall. You try to move and, for some reason, find that it's very difficult to do. A few minutes later, you hear something shuffling about behind you. That's when you hear voices.
"Do you think we'll find anyone here?" A voice asks. It sounds like a woman.
"Probably not," Another voice replies. This one sounds like a small girl's. "The crash looks really bad. I... I think we're the only survivors."
"But, there's gotta be more people," The first voice says. They're getting
closer, but they're taking their time doing it. Like they're searching... For survivors? Or for supplies? You wonder, and try to move. You manage to lift your arm weakly. Okay, that's a start, you think, trying to speak.
"Help me," You say, but all that comes out is a small whisper of air.
"I hope so," The little girl replies. "I'm just saying, it's unlikely."
"Help me," You manage to whisper, then cough. The two stop.
"Did you just..."
"Yeah."
"Help me," You say clearly, raising your hand before you slip and fall against
the arm rest. The two arrive, and your eyes widen.
One is a small fox girl, a kitsune, the other a tiger anthro. They see you and manage to lift you out of your seat.
"Don't worry," The kitsune says. "You're safe now." You blink, managing to murmur a thanks before you black out again.
The next few minutes are very confusing for you. In the next flash of awareness, you're lying on your side on a beach, the plane lying on its side as well, the ocean in the background. Panicked voices are all around you, and a cat woman is running towards you
Suddenly you're up against a tree and you look down to see two furred breasts growing on your chest and
The kitsune is holding a water bottle, probably from the plane, and is trying to get you to open your mouth to drink some. You notice that your face has pushed out into a snout but you open your mouth anyways as she pours some water in. You drink, coughing as you nearly choke and
You're on your side again, a red curtain covering your vision. You weakly move up, the curtain falling away as you sit up straight. You look around. Some time has passed now, but not a lot maybe half an hour. The kitsune and tiger girl are gone, probably back and scavenging from the plane. You look to your right and see a fox girl comforting a lizard anthro. They don't seem to see you, so you slowly sneak into the jungle behind you. You need some time alone.
You stand, walking unsteadily. You think its because you just survived a plane crash, but you look down and gasp. Your body is now incredibly female, curvy, and... well, sexy. Your skin is a mixture of brown and white fur; your chest and front are white, as well as your forearms and from the knees down. Two large breasts accentuate your curves, and a tail, also tipped with white, just stays out of your vision. Red hair just gets into your eyes, and you feel two furred ears on the top of your head. You stumble, leaning up against a tree.
"How did this happen?" You ask, staring at your hands. As you lower your hand, you freeze.
There's a body lying ten feet away.
Nervously, you walk up to it. It seems to be another anthro, feline this time, but she isn't moving... you touch her gently, and she gasps, startling you back a few steps. She sits up suddenly, looking around, confused. She sees you and stares.
"It's going to be okay," You say nervously. "You're safe now." She stares at you for a few moments, then collapses again. "Damn it," You mutter, and stay near her, hoping that she wakes back up. "This day just keeps getting better..."
