Another historical piece, exploring the debauched world of old London, through the eyes of one of its more objectionable denizens.

While not written as a Christmas tale, the parallels this story runs with the corpus of Tchaikovsky-inspired animate-soldier works are undeniable, and so I felt it only right to release it over the festive season.

There's something fascinating about taking a debached tale and displacing it in time, to garb the primal sensuality in a layer of hauntological fantasy, whose re-imagining of an unlived past feels quite congruous with the irreality of the the magic itself.
