“Is this thing on?”
We see what appeared to be a turquoise faced girl with green medium hair. Her body was a different skin tone with a chubby shape and a blue hoodie. The alien looking person looked a bit annoyed at the camera and gritted her sharp teeth.
“Greetings Earthlings. My name is Jenniferina from New Basco.” the alien said.
“Tell them about the planet you’re from!” said a voice.
“Oh right! None of you know about New Basco.” Jenniferina said. “It’s on the planet Xog. Home of the Didlers. This message was made in favor of a certain Earthling who insisted that I reveal myself to… er… overcome my shyness.”
“Show me next!”
“I’ll get to it!” Jenniferina said. “My species' true form is essentially a cranium with tentacles. Allow me to demonstrate!”
Jerrniferina’s neckline secreted some goo as her head then ejected off the body. Jumping onto a table, she showed off her two pairs of suctionless tentacles. Wiggling her arms to show off with a smug face.
“While I do look fabulous, it is not the most ideal for when traversing in unfamiliar territory.” Jenniferina said. “Our species are blessed with the ability to decapitate any living organism and control their bodies to navigate unfamiliar planets. However, we usually aim for non sentient species. But I so happen to stumble upon… her.”
Jenniferina hopped back onto the human body she was on as she secreted more goo. Making her neck attach to the body as if it were never decapitated to begin with. The goo evaporated to avoid making a huge mess but Jenniferina wiped her neck regardless.
The alien-headed freak then picked up what appeared to be a disembodied head of a cute tan chubby girl. She wore plain glasses with black ponytailed hair. The head looked eager to be shown despite her useless form displayed on camera.
“Hey everyone! I’m Flora and I am bodiless! I’m the first person to survive decapitation!” the head said.
“You’re only alive thanks to my goo! Still angry that you bit me when I tried decapitating you.” Jenniferina said.
“Hey! I’m just on guard if aliens try to probe me or something.” Flora said.
“Good job on that one!” Jenniferina said.
“I’m still alive and had a taste of that goo! And it’s so delicious! Mind if I have some more?” Flora said with puppy eyes.
“Fine! We can show you how I feed this thing too!” Jenniferina said reluctantly.
“My name is Flora.” the head said.
“Whatever!” Jenniferina said.
The alien spat out some goo from her mouth as it shot right into Flora’s mouth. The head chewed on it before swallowing. Even without a body, the head was able to swallow it without making a mess. Jenniferina then picked up Flora and turned her around to show the bottom of her neck. Revealing nothing but skin.
“My goo has healing properties that could preserve organic tissue or regenerate damaged tissue. My goo closed off the wound when I decapitated the pest.” Jenniferina said before placing Flora on the table in front of her, up straight.
“But I’m Flora.” Flora said.
“Yeah yeah, whatever pest.” Jenniferina said. “Just a little goo that could resurrect a recently dying being. And she got it from biting me!”
“I said I was sorry and was willing to make it up to you.” Flora said.
“To be fair, I kind of owe you.” Jenniferina said. “I’m not supposed to decapitate sentient beings and I only got to you since I thought humans were not sentient. Most planets I seen have dumb humans but it’s really freaky knowing that this planet have civil and talking ones.”
“We can do a lot of things too. Like looking for UFOs, researching UFOs online, taking photos of UFOs…”
“You act like you know UFOs but do you know what it means?”
“Unidentified Flying Object?”
“What? It stands for Universal Floating Object!”
“Why do you still refer to it as an object?”
“I’m going to stop you right there and wonder why are you humans obsessed with that? It’s invading our privacy!”
“It’s not everyday we get to see UFOs.”
“I do! It’s like the most basic form of transportation! Instead on Earth, you got wagons!”
“Well kind of but I have a van.”
“It’s still lame since it can’t fly and it runs on fossil fuels! It’s a wonder why this planet is not doomed!”
“Well we are dealing with global warming.”
“And no one is doing something about this?”
“Our government kind of does not care or makes things worse.”
“Geebus! Even with intelligence, you humans find ways to be stupid!”
“Don’t you mean Jesus?”
“The hol is Jesus? I think you mean our lord and savior Geebus!”
“Wow, isn’t it great that we get to talk so that we can learn from each other? I never knew this is a thing with aliens.”
“I guess but… it’s still kind of scary meeting a talking human.”
“It’s like meeting a talking dog, huh?”
“Dogs don’t talk here?”
“Well yeah! They just bark and say woof woof.”
“That’s the sound of a wolf or wolf people!”
“Wow! I am learning so much!”
“I guess I am too. This is a rather odd introduction to all of this.”
“Oh come on. It’s pretty straightforward. You did a great job driving us home.”
“It’s a wonder that you still use keys and fossil fuels!”
“We’re not as advanced as you aliens.”
“From my point of view, you lot are the aliens!”
“When you think about it, it makes sense.”
“Of course it does! I think I need to search for parts to repair my ship now. This feels like a waste of time.”
“I find our time together here to be very valuable. It’s so much fun but I kind of wish I have a body… heh heh…”
“See you all next time!” Jenniferina said before turning off the recording.
…

“It is I, Jenniferina.” said the alien.
“And your favorite disembodied head, Flora!” said the head.
“I suppose I need to explain my goals on this planet and it is very straightforward.”
“Honestly, I was surprised at how simple it was.”
“It’s not a big deal! All I do here is research and observation! My job is to look into a planet and record my findings for the public to know. And this planet is a hol hole but for all the different reasons!”
“I know not everyone is nice but…”
“First of all, we have people complaining about my skin color as well as Flora!”
“It’s only for those assholes though.”
“Secondly, they act like they have never seen a decapitated head before! I can understand the kids but this is like sex 101! We have a thing called NBM and it’s under closed doors!”
“I don’t think we can go into detail like that. We might get flagged.”
“The hol does that mean?”
“We might get in trouble showing inappropriate content.”
“Oh right. Some kids might be watching this.”
“Well we’re not going to be that strict if we are keeping this educational.”
“I guess since you want me to flat out teach you Earthlings how I roll.”
“Well I know I can be rolling all over.”
“It’s a miracle that you weren’t so dizzy.”
“I was but it was so much fun! We gotta record ourselves going bowling with my head!”
“We’ll do it alright! We got something more important to explain such as my job. Remember? You bugged me over that as well?”
“Oh right. Sorry.”
“My job is that I travel planet to planet and mostly just record what I see and learn what I can. Just basic science stuff. I would send my records to my home planet who would share it with other planets and make use of that information as a future preference. Of course, I needed to do some preparation beforehand such as learning new languages or have a good idea on how some customs work.”
“You can speak other languages as well?” Flora asked excitedly.
“まあ、たわごとはありません。Puedo aprender cualquier idioma sobre la marcha. Aber es gab so viele Sprachen, dass es mir schwer fällt, Schritt zu halten.”
“Huh?” Flora asked. “But um… it’s so cool that you know a lot of languages!”
“I said that it’s easy for me to do so but you Earthlings got so many languages that I am not sure if I am fluent in some of them. And I honestly thought dogs were the dominant species!”
“Basic observation can show how we are the dominant species.”
“Yeah yeah I get it.”
“That reminds me, what is your home like?”
“Sort of like here but less bitter and more advanced.”
“Huh. Sort of like my life at times.”
“I’m probably not that lucky around here, huh.”
“Don’t worry Jenniferina. People just don’t understand us.”
“That goes to show how stupid humanity is.”
“But I’m willing to know about you.”
“I am grateful for that but you can be a handful despite lacking a body.”
“When your just paper weight, it can be annoying.”
“I guess seeing you being this useless makes me feel better when I am in my original form.”
“Not cool!” Flora whined as she wiggled side to side.
“What? You did tell me earlier that I need to open up.”
“Yeah but sometimes you don’t need to be brutal to be honest.”
“Fine fine! But you know I only speak about the facts.”
“Even so, it still nice that you are telling me about all of this. I seriously wonder why your species never revealed itself before?”
“Well uh… I did say I am a bit shy along with my species and well… I’m the first Didler to visit Earth. Kind of scary you know.”
“Oh… I honestly thought expressing yourself online would boost your confidence.”
“It does feel nice letting it all out and just chatting. Even if some primitive tech is staring at us.”
“You feel better at least?”
“Kind of. Yeah.”
“I might not have a body but I’m here for you if you need help understanding Earth. Well, as best a head like me can do.”
“Thanks for the offer.”
“No problem!”
“Oh carp! Let’s not get too personal now! We still got more to discuss.”
“Like what?”
“Umm….. I think I explained my goals on Earth but now hmm…”
“You could tell everyone about your ship.”
“Oh yeah… don’t remind me.” Jenniferina said while blushing.
“To sum it up, it kind of crashed and Jenniferina needs to repair it.” Flora summarized casually.
“It was a beauty!” Jenniferina cried.
“We’ll get it fixed soon. There there…” Flora said before she realized that she could not physically comfort Jenniferina. “Damn it.”
“Just kiss me!”
“Kiss?! Isn’t a hug enough?”
“That’s for marriage!”
“It’s the reverse on Earth!”
Jenniferina held up Flora’s head and kissed her on the lips and sometimes the cheeks. The alien was a nerve wreck from the dark reminder of the state of her ship. Kissing Flora for comfort just like when you hug someone to make them feel better. Flora, though, was surprised and powerless to do anything about Jenniferina. All the head could do was accept the kissing.
“Oh… thank you. I guess having a talking disembodied head around has its perks.”
“Just warn me next time!”
“Oh sorry. I got carried away.”
“Kissing is a bit more personal on Earth.”
“So is hugging where I’m from!”
“And I appreciate it if you don’t treat me as a means to an end.”
“Ok, I get it. I’ll ask for permission next time.” Jenniferina said while blushing. “Can I do it again?”
“Only if you give me a hug.” Flora said. “I do wonder what hugs are like as a head.”
“Fine! I’ll hug it out first to get it over with.”
Jenniferina held onto Flora with her own arms and held onto the head tightly. Flora’s face touched her own boobs as she snuggled on them. That ended up tickling the alien which she was really sensitive to.
This made the alien blush and let go of the hug and kissed Flora’s head on the lips. Except it was with just one kiss and a lock on one. It held on for a while until Jenniferina let go of Flora’s lips and held her eye level and away from close contact.
“Hmm… it feels nice.” Flora said.
“It kind of was.” Jenniferina admitted before she noticed something. “Hold on! We’re not in a romantic relationship yet! We only met like a few days ago!”
“You were the one kissing me!”
“That’s normal but you were asking for a hug!”
“It felt really nice okay! And I like hugs!”
“Let’s just end this recording until we play bowling! Okay!”
“Aw? Already?”
“I’m a bit too flustered right now and I gotta edit parts of this!”
“But we set it on live!”
“Oh flarb! Oh double flarb! I shouldn’t say that out in the public!”
“I think flarb is okay on Earth.”
“What’s your equivalent?”
“I’ll tell you later.”
“Something tells me it won’t be that bad.”
“Probably but it’s kind of funny if I say it out loud the more I think about it.”
“Now I really want to end the recording to know.”
“I ain’t telling you unless you promise to not edit out what transpired.”
“I can just not feed you goo!”
“Yeah but I won’t be able to tell you.”
“Fine! You win!” Jenniferina said. “I really thought I was in charge but a disembodied head bested me.”
…

“It’s me again and after some complications, I finally made it to a place for bowling and well… convincing someone to be bowling with a disembodied head.” Jenniferina said.
“I’m ready!” Flora said from a bag.
“Alright! Alright!” Jenniferina said.
Jenniferina took Flora out of the bag and glared at the bowling alley. She saw the pins being far away and then looked back at Flora. She looked back at the pins and looked at how others bowl.
“So I just roll you like everyone here?” Jenniferina asked.
“Yeah! And hit all the pins.” Flora said.
“I guess I can try.” Jenniferina said as she rolled Flora.
It was expected for the head to roll, which Flora sort of did. But the shape of her head was not round enough despite being chubby. Flora attempted to roll by herself but struggled in front of the camera.
“I’ll just get a real ball.” Jenniferina said.
“Don’t worry! I got this!” Flora said.
“You’re barely moving an inch!” Jenniferina argued.
“So?” Flora asked.
“So?!” Jenniferina fumed.
“I don’t see any reason to give up!” Flora said.
“I have so many reasons that the list will reach the moon!”
“Well, I don’t see them.”
“For one, the shape of your head is not a perfect circle.”
“I’m pretty round.”
“So you do admit to being fat!”
“You mean chubby!”
“I only see fat!”
“No need to be fat shaming me!”
“Hey could you keep it down?” said a random guy that was censored in the video.
“We’re trying to bond here!” Jenniferina said.
“So you do care for me!” Flora said.
“Only when you admit that you are fat!” Jenniferina said.
“Lady. It's not cool insulting your talking bowling ball like that. In fact, where did you get a talking bowling ball?” said the guy.
“I’m actually a disembodied head.” Flora said. “Check out that video diary online by FizzyFlor.”
“Never heard of it.” the guy said. “But um… what the f*ck?”
“That’s a bit underwhelming of a response.” Jenniferina said.
“Lady, I gave up judging sh*t like this ever since the last election.” the guy said. “It was totally a joke.”
“Um… let’s talk about bowling!” Flora said.
“After consuming some Earth’s politics, I can safely say that I have no idea what you are talking about but can confidently say that you don’t either!” Jenniferina said.
“Hey um… remember what I said about talking about politics?” Flora warned Jenniferina.
“Yeah but I’m sure we can be mature about this like our conversation about politics.” Jenniferina said.
“I have so much to say green-face on how you are wrong and…”
The video ended there or rather it was edited out.
…

Much later, the two were in their van filming themselves for the video diary. Both of them looked tired and traumatized. Their van was also trashed and banged in some places. Jenniferina was also secreting her slime and feeding Flora as the head looked as if she was out of stamina.
“Wished we could have recorded part of that.” Flora said with goo covering her mouth. “But it just had to have so much negative energy.”
“Perhaps I underestimate the effects of politics with humanity.” Jenniferina said as she wiped some of the goo.
“You could have stopped right there.” Flora said.
“At least the attendant was on our side. But did that guy have to trash your car?” Jenniferina said.
“Of course not! This was my pride and joy!” Flora said.
“At least that bowling ball match against him was lit.”
“Yeah! I was so happy that you believed in me and I got to rolling!”
“I had to use my slime to feed you and make excuses just so you can roll easier!”
“Still it was both fun and disorienting!”
“Well no shump it is! Just thinking about it makes me sick. All that spinning with little to no control. I had my moments when I got into accidents on my home planet.”
“I can tell that it must be annoying huh.”
“Wait! I didn't mean to say that out loud!”
“It’s fine! Just be more open to me!”
Jenniferina sighed and then let it go. “Fine. And I guess to make it up to you, I guess I can repair your van tomorrow along with my ship. Maybe add a little of my technology to it.”
“Really?!”
“It’s the least I can do. I caused enough trouble for you.”
“Oh thank you thank you thank you!” Flora said before puckering up her lips.
“Oh? Now you want that kiss?”
“I just had to!”
“Oh come here!”
…
2/11/20XX
At a backyard of sorts, Jenniferina was adding and tossing parts off of her damaged ship. All while using some of the damaged parts for Flora’s van. Flora’s head was on a table watching her alien friend repairing her UFO close by. Occasionally be moved around to be close to Jenniferina.
“Now this is what a vehicle should be. Runs on turbo energy, made of high quality metal, has a booster, AI safety controls, and so many things needed for a vehicle that I can make on the fly. There are some nuance stuff missing but I think it’s beyond your comprehension at this point.” Jenniferina explained.
“Oh thank you thank you thank you!” Flora said. “But um… since you are leaving, what will happen to me?”
“Oh uh… I was considering keeping you around as a pet but um… kind of conflicted.”
“Really?”
“Yeah I admit it! I kind of care for you for these past three days within these videos and outside of them..”
“Let me hear it.”
“Fine. For as annoying as you can be, you at least tolerated me and only want me to be better. You seemed excited over my stuff rather than shudder in fear like most lifeforms. Those comments on our videos notwithstanding. Last but not least, my job is kind of lonely okay.” Jenniferina said while blushing.
“Is that all?”
“Oh come on! I deserve an Oopy for that!”
“Is that like the Oscar’s but in space?”
“I’ll just assume yes since there are so many things on Earth that are similar to planet Xog. I seriously wonder if you Earthlings copied us or we copied you!”
“Honestly, I am open to the fact that your species taught our species your technology in the past. I made theories or assumptions of that being possible.”
“Really?”
“There is a reason why I am considered a nut job after all. You don’t think I always look into what people consider as serious science, do you?”
“I just thought you were a bit too excited over aliens and space.”
“Yes, I do look into serious material but I look into the occult and the extra stuff. Like how the crop circles were made, alien sightings, connections of cryptid monsters to aliens, and so on!”
“The fact that you were able to find my UFO, spotted me, and gave me a vague message through the radio did impress me initially.”
“Wow. No one really told me that before. They often jump to the conclusion that I was being silly, have some doubt, or need a reality check.”
“If they don’t believe that I exist at this point, they are the ones that need a reality check.”
“The more I think about it, I guess I am willing to travel the cosmos with you.”
“Are you sure? I mean we can visit Earth any time but I don’t want to just take you away from your home.”
“I mean some trips will be fine and I do worry about being homesick but I do want to see space at some point in my life.”
“Then why don’t you?”
“I might be smart but not the standards of being an astronaut.”
“Oh. So it’s due to heavy regulations then.”
“And I admit that it is also due to my physique.”
“I won’t say anything more about that.”
“Thank you.”
“You know, for all the time we spent together, we never really encountered your planet’s form of military.”
“Let’s just hope it stays that way.”
“FBI! OPEN UP!” said a voice.
“We just had to jinx it!” Flora whined.
“Uh…” Jenniferina said as she remembered that they were filming a video. “This video was meant to show my UFO and I think this is the perfect time to show it off a bit more on how it works.”
“Did you even fully repair it?” Flora asked.
“I’ll wing it!” Jenniferina said.
The alien headed human grabbed Flora’s head, some tools, and the camera hastily and ran into her UFO. The hatch closed loudly while the camera shifted to many angles due to being carried around in a pile of stuff in Jenniferina’s arms.
“You know, the chrome still looks cool even after staring at it too long.” Flora said.
“According to Flora, your movies got a general idea of how spaceships work and I was surprised at how accurate some of them are. Especially with your Star Trek.” Jenniferina said.
“So uh… how does this ship really work?” Flora asked.
“I just press buttons and then boom.”
“Oh. Thought it was more complicated or some skill.”
“Just knowing which button to press but it’s straightforward for me.”
With a press of a button, sounds of laser shots were made. It was followed up with the roars of gunfire with the engine drowning out the sound after Jenniferina pressed another button. The ship rose into the air slowly with some bumping due to the ship being fired at. The alien covered Flora’s eyes to avoid her seeing the horrors that were outside. Jenniferina grabbed the camera and tried to turn it off. Ending the video.
…
2/12/20XX
The video turned back on and revealed that Jenniferina was not occupying Flora’s body anymore. She was back to her tentacle head monster form as she poked at some buttons with her appendages. The alien looked at the camera and sighed.
“Greetings Earthlings again. I do apologize for what happened in the last video as it took them long enough to go after us.” Jenniferina said. “We did manage to escape the FBI according to Flora and plan on hiding out for a while until things simmered down.”
“Can we show them yet?” Flora asked.
“Alright!” Jenniferina said. “I also got a surprise for you. It answers the question as to why I don’t have a human body.”
Jenniferina moved the camera to the side and showed what appeared to be Flora with her body back. Flora looked normal again but she reached for her head and twisted it side to side. Her head suddenly popped off and she tucked her own head under her own arm.
“Ta dah!” Flora said.
“I did some configuring and gave Flora her body back. Side effects include her having the ability to detach her head with ease and retain control of her body for four hours. After that, her body might gain sentience unless she reattaches herself in time.” Jenniferina explained.
“It’s great to have hands again but I did have some fun as a head. Since this is the best Jenniferina could do for me, I can’t complain.” Flora said.
“She can eat normal food again thanks to medical science and portal science. But the amount of food needed has increased.” Jenniferina said.
“I don’t mind since that means I have more reasons to eat more!” Flora said.
“That only means you starve more too.”
“Geez, no need to be so negative.”
“After repairing my ship completely, I plan on making a report on all of this and have Flora travel with me for a while.”
“We kind of need to make a pit stop to pack my things too.”
“Right right. Forgot about that. Flarb!”
“Even though I can eat normal food again… well a lot more, I do miss your goo.”
“Just ask and I’ll think about it.”
“Is that a yes?”
“Yeah.” Jenniferina said as she squirted the goo out of her mouth and it landed into Flora’s mouth.
“Hmm… tasty every time.” Flora said.
“I guess that’s all we can say for now. More updates soon after some government nonsense.”
“See you soon!”
…
