After the incident in NSA, things have taken a big turn for Rei Shinozaki and the girls. Especially Contestant Rosa who was used for sexual activities and kidnapped when participating. While Rei apologized for the entire incident, Mr. Dawn was arrested for the incident and will be on trial in the following weeks.

Images of Rosa appeared on the screen. Mostly depicting her time having fun, her wedding, or selfies.

Due to Rei’s financial problems, NBM themed companies pitched in to support Rosa’s recovery through donations or medical help. As such, no further information was given on Rosa until then.

As for the other contestants, that was a different story. Let’s begin with the recent news of Eriza who upon returning home to her dimension, was decapitated by a paladin named Lytisia. With permission, we present you a news report on the matter.

“Hi! This is Irma Imp and breaking news! After our queen returned from her conquest for Eearth, her kingdom was left unguarded when she called upon them for unknown reasons,” the demonic reporter said. “As a result, the dastardly rebels took this chance and conquered the majority of the kingdom. Now their leader Lytisia managed to decapitate our queen and held her treasure up high.”

From a crowd, there were a bunch of frightened demons watching a female knight exiting out of a castle. The knight had white armor with gold trimming. A blue glowing sword in one hand and the head of Eriza in the other. The woman’s blond hair was tied up in a long braided ponytail that was as big as a sword. Her face showed tears while muttering a bunch of stuff.

“I did it! I avenged you mother and father! My brothers and sisters. My friends and comrades,” the paladin said.

“Oh shut the f*ck up!” Eriza said.

“I’m glad that I did not have to kill any further,” Lytisia cried.

Irma waddled towards the paladin and held her mic to her face. The paladin was shocked but lowered her blade.

“Lytisia, might answer some questions?” Irma asked.

“Um… I’m rather tired and need some time alone,” Lytisia said meekly.

“I just need some words from you for the entire kingdom to hear,” Irma said.

“Oh right. The kingdom has the means to spread their words far and wide,” the paladin said. “I see no harm in that.”

“First question, now that you have slain our queen, what will become of all demon kind?” Irma asked.

“My comrades decided to spare any demons who were not part of the conflict. We believe that not every demon or monster is evil until proven guilty. You will all continue as you do as long as you do not break any laws,” Lytisia said. “However, there will also be a change in government with a system called ‘democracy’.”

“Pfft, I bet you’re gonna fabricate ways to commit genocide,” Eriza said. “And seriously, how will you humans even pull off democracy? I see what humanity does when they are not ruled under me.”

“We thought of that. That is why the government branch shall have a trustworthy and moral representative for every nation who will also have their own branches as well. It is complicated but we will not live under a monarchy anymore,” Lytisia said.

“Hmm hmm… how will you handle any prejudice against demons? Humans not under our queen are prone to be racist?” Irma asked.

“Good question. Anyone caught in discriminatory acts shall be put on trial. This applies to everybody,” Lytisia said.

“Get ready to be busy,” Eriza mocked.

“What will become of you?” Irma asked.

“I plan on atoning for my own crimes as well. I was going to return to be a farmer, but I have killed so many. It goes against the teachings and I wished to atone. That is why I plan to find a way to bear the same punishment as former Queen Eriza,” the paladin said.

“That is rather shocking… I think that will be all,” Irma said.

“Come on, interview me too!” Eriza asked.

“Hmm, nah. You’re too insignificant now,” Irma said.

“Damn it all!” Eriza cried.

“Thank you,” Lytisia said. “We are all finally free from the tyrant and may we be blessed from above.”

Days later, the heads of Eriza and Lytisia were spotted in a museum that commemorated the rebellion and the fall of Eriza. We were able to interview the head of Eriza on the matter.

“What are your thoughts on NSA and the aftermath?” the interviewer asked.

“I regret participating in this game,” Eriza said. “I spent more of my new disembodied life sitting here and being annoyed by this religious farm girl!”

“I fail to see the problem with prayer and setting an example as a former paladin,” Lytisia said.

“You get all the praise while I get spit on! It’s not fair!” Eriza whined.

“There there,” Noel said while headpatting the head.

“Hello! I know this is sudden but would you like to be interviewed?” asked the interviewer.

“Is this for NSA? I could if we could make it quick,” Noel said.

“So, after what happened, what are you doing now and for the future?”

“Well, I am currently working in the museum to take care of the head of an old friend and a new one,” Noel said. “I mostly plan to use this experience to be a museum curator if I am still interested.”

“She does a wonderful job,” Lytisia said.

“How did you get this job?”

“Oh um… it started when I took on Eriza’s offer for a job in her court until I found out about the rebellion. The staff here could not handle Eriza and I happened to calm her down,” Noel said. “After showing them my resume, I got the job.”

“It was not necessary as they needed you anyways,” Lytisia said.

“Hey! This is my interview! Piss off!” Eriza said.

Noel went and patted Eriza to calm the former queen down. The head simply glared at her friend and pouted instead.

“There there your majesty,” Noel said.

“How has the NSA impacted you?”

“Well… stumped after what happened. My family was worried and I ended up fearing unemployment. I was lucky to be here!” Noel said.

“That’s great!”

“How was your health after that final act?”

“I did heal up with magic and took about two weeks to recover in a hospital and a week at home. I made sure to eat a lot and rest,” Noel said.

“Glad you are feeling great now.”

“Hello?!” Eriza called.

“Right! What are your thoughts on Noel, Eriza?”

“She’s probably the most tolerable person here,” Eriza said while blushing. “Nothing more! I am just glad I see someone familiar. Everyone else I know is either in hiding or executed! I even miss my dolly!”

“We are working on it,” Noel said.

“Thank you for your time and sorry if we made haste with this,” the interviewer said.

“Not at all,” Noel said.

“F*ck you!” Eriza said. “This was meant to be my time!”

Kerry Shaw, former magical bounty hunter, was spotted working as a maid for the Everest family. With permission, we were allowed in the premises to interview her.

Kerry wore what appeared to be a maid uniform that covered most of her body. Especially the maid hat that she wore that covered most of her hair. She maintained her empty expression but was not as bloodthirsty as before.

“How may you do?” Kerry asked.

“So, what have you been up to?” the interviewer asked.

“Being a maid,” Kerry said.

“Right. Any specifics?”

“Well, I mostly serve Lady Mimi and much more ever since the death of her parents. It was her birthday and they went to watch a magic show. When taking a shortcut, her parents were killed by a magician while she was left alone,” Kerry explained. “Now I trained Lady Mimi in the same assassin skills that I learned.”

“I’m not one to talk but don’t you think it’s a bad idea to make Mimi be the next Batman?”

“This is different since this involves magic and Mimi is planning to use my lessons for self defense. She planned to use her influences to reduce crime and to prevent any more children dealing with her suffering,” Kerry explained.

“Thank goodness. I was worried that she would grow up deranged.”

“Fear not. I won’t make her follow the same path that I had,” Kerry said. “I made sure that she has friends to be with and comfort that I neglected for years. The staff and I resolved to make it so.”

“That’s sweet.”

The door opened to reveal a girl with magenta twin tailed hair in a school uniform. We are assuming that it’s Mimi. Beside her was another girl with long wavy black hair and a gothic dress.

“Hey Kerry, mind if Luna comes over?” Mimi said. “She’s a dear friend who moved but found a way to visit me again.”

“Oh! Kerry! I didn’t know you work here!” Luna said.

“Of course, milady,” Kerry said. “And it is a pleasure meeting you again, Luna.”

“Thanks Kerry! And sorry to interrupt your important thing!” Mimi said. “I’ll work on my knife spells later too!”

“It is alright, milady,” Kerry said. “Just have fun.”

“You got to tell me how you met her!” Mimi said. The girl was surprised that her friend knew her maid.

“It all started with my cousin’s show,” Luna said. The two kids left the room to let Kerry continue her interview.

“How did you come upon this position?”

“I sent out a notice and took photos of myself in a maid’s outfit that I found in a pawn shop. The late Lady Everest called for me after I posted my qualifications. As for the late Master Everest, he asked to wear a more modest outfit for the sake of Lady Mimi,” Kerry said. “They are aware of my abilities as an assassin but care about my abilities as a maid. I made sure to live up to their expectations until the end.”

“They must really like you.”

“From what little I know of them, they do. So do the other maids and butlers,” Kerry said. “Now I have some dusting to do before I train Lady Mimi. Thank you for your time here.”

“Thank you for answering our questions.”

Jeanne de Luca was seen to work part time in Rei’s Head Shop and perform street magic on several occasions. Despite being the winner, her prize was essentially to work under minimum wage and doing minimal tasks. Unlike most part timers in the head shop, Jeanne wore the same uniform but with a bigger hat and longer stockings to cover up from the sun.

“Hello Jeanne,” the interviewer greeted.

“Hi,” Jeanne said.

“So, how do you feel about winning NSA?”

“To be honest, I never felt so happy and confident in my life,” Jeanne said. “Sure I mostly work in retail but I get to play my guitar for the heads and during performances. If we are able to do any.”

“If able to?”

“We had to book the time and place to legally do it. All while advertising people to watch. Rei is not really what you call world class,” Jeanne said. “Then we got to plan for acts as well. Most of which involves me getting stuff up to change Rei or playing my guitar.”

“I see.”

“But for the most part, I feel content. I have a job and I still get to do what I love on the side,” Jeanne said. “It’s not exactly a musical career but I still get to perform. Just the support Rei gave me and the feeling of having a purpose kind of changed me a little.”

“How does your family feel about this? Mostly asking for how prominent they were in the show.”

“My papà was happy that I am doing stuff besides hiding in my room for once. My family were surprisingly supportive that I have ‘a life’ as they say,” Jeanne said. “They also thought I was stronger now after that final act. All while feeding me blood to heal up. It was not pleasant but I got better in under two days thanks to drinking actual blood.”

“I see that you are doing well.”

“I am but not financially. I still have to live with my family but better than nothing,” Jeanne said.

“That is great! Thank you for answering our questions.”

“It is my pleasure,” Jeanne said.

As for Rei, the following was recorded by Jerome McGee.

We see Rei meeting with a college aged girl with a black ponytail. Said girl looked angry as she entered the store.

“Oh, you must be Cousin Kate! Home for summer vacation?” Rei asked.

“Is Luna alright?” Kate asked.

“Yeah! She is,” Rei said. “She’s upstairs right now training in some spells before her part time modeling job.”

“Thank goodness but I am concerned about the latter stuff,” Kate said. “But seriously! What were you thinking?! You almost got her killed! I have been watching NSA to make sure she is alright! Her messages were not reliable as she kept saying she is fine when everything I saw says otherwise!”

“Look Kate, I know she is your little sister and what remains of your family, but I want to make sure she’s safe too,” Rei said. “I’ve been through a lot of sh*t for the past few months and I don’t need to be reminded of how I messed up!”

“I get it. I just want my sister to be fine,” Kate said.

“And she is,” Rei said. “I promise to keep her more safe than before. Though not sure what to do if she decided to get in trouble herself.”

“Trust me, it's hard. Especially since we were the only girls with detachable heads at the time,” Kate said. “I admit that I like to get in her business a lot but I still got to give her space.”

“Yeah, I am struggling with that too. If that is what you've been through for years, you deserve a medal. I only dealt with this for months,” Rei said.

“Well, I’m here until class begins again. I might show you some ropes in caring for Luna,” Kate said before she looked to the side. “Who is that guy recording us?”

“It’s the camera guy from NSA. He just got a job to record my after story,” Rei said.

“Warn me next time!” Kate said.

After the recording, we managed to have the time to interview only Rei. Luna is unavailable due to her schedule and how she had other interviews as well.

“Hello Rei, thanks for letting us interview you.”

“My pleasure,” Rei said.

“So. How do you feel about the aftermath of NSA?”

“Tired. Just tired. Even when it was over, I got death threats from fans due to endangering the contestants, false rumors about me, and I may potentially be sued even after getting Rosa the help she needed,” Rei said. “To top it all off, I got a little cousin to take care of. Make me be like a mother but I digress.”

“I see. I hope this interview is not adding more trouble to you.”

“No no, it’s fine. I expect this to happen.”

“About those rumors. Would you like to clarify them?”

“Of course,” Rei said. “First of all, no! I have never intentionally abused the contestants. Any examples online are mostly done jokingly, self defense, or within jurisdiction. Not once have I assaulted and abused Jeanne, Noel, and Rosa. Put them in extreme situations, yes. Abuse them I did not! I’m honestly surprised no one talked about my treatment towards Eriza and Kerry who I did lay a hand on due to self defense.”

“I see. From what I did see, Eriza and Kerry were hard to deal with?”

“Hell yeah they were! They did attempt to kill me,” Rei said.

“Right. And you actually dealt with the vampire mafia?”

“What you saw on TV was not staged when it came with the finale. It was actually real and anyone who says otherwise should be ashamed of themselves. My little heads were in actual danger and I did not manipulate that! I would never pull a stunt like that!” Rei said.

“Uh… how’s Luna?”

“Oh her? She’s doing alright but seems to be working a lot. When she’s not doing her NBM modeling job for kids, she is either hanging out with friends, training magic with me, helping around the store, or studying. I barely see her just taking a break which got me concerned,” Rei said.

“She’s a hard worker huh?”

“Lots of energy!” Rei said.

“Wow.”

“Kate did warn me about that but noticed how she is less hyper. Probably due to the amount of things she got to do lately,” Rei said. “I really need her to relax.”

“So um… how’s Jeanne?”

“Oh, she’s fine. Been a great part timer and assistant. She dazes off since she’s not good with day time but a bit more active at night. I am considering making her work the night shift only as I’m worried that she’s not getting enough sleep,” Rei said.

“Everyone in your life has been tense.”

“Yeah… just not over with what happened or things got in the way,” Rei said.

“Well um… I guess we have enough for today.”

“Oh, thank you,” Rei said. “Hope this interview went okay.”

A message from Rei.

A stream was set up featuring Rei wearing a white shirt with pink borders. Her hair was brushed with some hair sticking out.

“Hey everyone! Rei here! Kind of want to apologize for that disaster of a show. Even after all of that, I am grateful for all of the support you all gave me and the girls. During and afterwards. Special thanks to Genie Schutter for her guest appearance! It was nice to have that one guest! Also special thanks to Gwiber49 and Tigerman2011 for most of the QnA. They at least did not insult us the entire time! Last but not least, thank you everyone in ANGA for supporting us when we needed it the most. I know we were supposed to be rivals but things got better, right?”

Rei took a sip from her can of beer.

“Anywho. NSA will probably not return after what happened. I still got to prove my case that I was tricked into being a part of this show. And Rosa still needs help,” Rei said. “Bye.”
