Wendy is your typical shy girl with a quirk at least which is magic. She just has a passion for it, but nobody really cares about it. Though she does got a chance to show her talent in the talent show, but she lacks an assistant at the moment. Her previous one left, but she needed a girl since it always work that way. Right?

"Oh no, I better find someone quick or else I may have to perform on myself and that's hard enough." moaned Wendy.

"Oh hey, you're that magic girl right." asked a voice.

Wendy looks back and saw what the school declares as one of the most prettiest girls in school, Sophie. The popular girl has dark hair that looks bluish and she just got that cuddly natural beauty. Wendy could not believe that someone of high status would approach to her so casually.

"You look like you're in a pinch. Maybe I can help out?" asked Sophie.

Wendy blushed and said, "Sure. I'll explain the details right now if you like."

Wendy went over the details on the dates and all while Sophie looks focus in what Wendy has to say. It was a genuine moment between the two and it does not seem like a prank at all. After all of that, Sophie left feeling excited for what's to come while Wendy is in a state of fear.

Later on, Wendy went to school to practice her tricks for the talent show since the stuff she has is heavy and she was allowed to store it at her school. She was surprised that Sophie is there much earlier than her.

"Oh hi Wendy! I'm ready for any tricks up your sleeves." Sophie said with a smile.

Wendy blushed, "Sure."

Wendy got up to the stage as Sophie asks, "So what type of illusions you do?"

"Illusions?" questioned Wendy, "I actually know real magic."

"Your kidding me?" asked Sophie.

"No really. Watch." said Wendy as she went to Sophie's ear and a bunch of flags was yanked out of it.

"Wow." said Sophie as she looked convinced.

"And to make things even better, I am going to do a guillotine trick for the talent show." added Wendy as she showed the prop.

"How did you even convinced the school to... oh wait, magic?" asked Sophie.

"Yep." replied Wendy.

"I have so many questions now like why do you keep it a secret, does your family know magic too, and and..."

"Well, it's sort of a personal thing I do."

"I see, kind of sensitive about it."

Wendy nods and blushes at the same time.

Sophie then declares, "Alright. Let's work on the guillotine trick."

The popular girl went to the guillotine as she places her head through it and adjusts her hair so that it does not go onto her face. Wendy has a wand that she taps onto the guillotine as she said some magic words. Then suddenly the blade came rushing through and sliced Sophie's head as the head fell into the basket.

Wendy does not looked surprised as she has practiced this on other living beings before, just not animals. She saw Sophie's head looking surprised that she was alive and struggles to move. Wendy blushes as she feels nervous about touching someone so beautiful and high class.

She then heard Sophie say, "Can you please pick me up? Don't worry, I don't mind you touching me."

Wendy was shocked that Sophie sort of knew what she was thinking. Like an obedient servant, Wendy went to pick Sophie's head up from the basket and held her eye level. To Wendy, Sophie looks just as cute as a head.

"Wow, this feels odd. I don't really like being a head, but you can totally convince everyone in school that you know magic with this trick. Maybe you can do stuff with my head to further the suspense so that people will really think this is real like throwing me to the audience!" suggested Sophie's head.

"How about something safer?" asked Wendy, "And I think you should calm your body down."

The two girls saw the headless body running against the wall as if she was panicking. Sophie looks at Wendy as if she wants to know why as Wendy explains.

"From what I read, the body would act based on how the head feels. In the way, you are in control, but the way your body does things is based on her instinct. Say you feel happy, your body will express that she is happy. If you are afraid, you get this."

"Whoa, could I get my body to come pick me up?" asked Sophie.

"Try to imagine yourself coming here to do that." said Wendy.

Sophie surprisingly did well on her first try, though slow as her body slowly approached for her head and picks her up. Sophie then has her head rock her like a baby. Sophie has her head face Wendy as she asked, "So how will I be able to get back onto my body?"

"Hmm, I sort of read that, but all I know is that you just place your head back on. I might be wrong, but if I am, I'll fix it." explained Wendy, "I'm sorry for forgetting to bring it."

"It's fine. You are an amazing girl, Wendy." said Sophie as her body raises her head up and places her back on her neck.

Sophie stumbles a bit as she just had her head back onto her body. As she walked down towards Wendy, her head suddenly falls off. The head of the popular girl fell on her cheek and rolled away a bit while her body panics and runs off. The head is just as afraid as her body as she panics a bit as she wiggles as a head.

"Wendy, what is going on?" asked Sophie's head.

"Uh, looks like just putting your head back on is not enough." whimpered Wendy as she picks up Sophie's head.

The head saw her body leaving as she cried out, "Wendy! My body is leaving!"

Wendy panics as she ran out of the room to go get Sophie's body. From the halls, there is a lot of students and school staff being pushed around and crashing. The body looks as if she was running away from some monster while Wendy is carrying a ten pound head and is slowing down significantly. Sophie does her best to pull a mannequin look as Wendy tells everyone that she is only holding one.

The students didn't mind about the body as they are too busy tripping or falling at the moment. The girls and the body were outside of the school as Wendy was getting close to the body. Not being able to hold Sophie's head any longer, Wendy threw Sophie's head at her body which made the body trip. Wendy then tackles the body while Sophie's head had to cry over the pain of being thrown.

"Ouch! What was that for?!" cried Sophie's head.

"Sorry! I sort of panicked." said Wendy.

"As long as you got my body under control, I think it's fine." said Sophie.

The head watch the magical girl trying to subdue the headless body.

At Wendy's house, the magician places Sophie's head on a table as the head looks a bit nervous. Sophie saw her body lie on the couch tied up by magic string as Wendy looks very anxious. Sophie decides to cheer the girl up a bit by saying.

"Hey um... thanks for being careful with me on the way," said Sophie, "It feels so nice being carried by you."

Wendy gave her a blush and a nosebleed as a response which surprises and worries Sophie. The head then asks.

"Say, why do you blush when I'm around?" asked Sophie.

Wendy twiddle her fingers a bit and said, "Um, it's kind of personal."

Sophie raised an eyebrow as Wendy went off to looking for her magic book and found something. It was the solution in putting Sophie back onto her body.

"Eureka! I found the solution!" said Wendy.

"That's great. I already miss having a body." said Sophie.

Though Wendy looks a bit sad, "And after this, you probably want to leave me, right?"

"Huh?" asked Sophie.

"I mean, it's my fault that you became a head." said Wendy.

"Well it was fun with some downsides. Though as long as you have a way to put me back on, I might have my head off several times."

"Really?"

"Yeah. I mean I do like being carried around and this trick would be great for the talent show."

"Okay then."

Wendy grabs Sophie's head and places her on her body. Wendy did some twists and turns while citing some words until there was a loud squeaky noise. That could only mean one thing.

"It worked!" said Wendy.

Sophie moves around a bit and did a light jog. It's official, she has her body back on!

"Great job Wendy!" said Sophie as she also check if she can take off her own head off to see if it stays on.

Sadly, it doesn't. Sophie is a head again with strong pull as her body tucks her head under her arm.

"Oh no! Must have messed up!" cried Wendy.

"Oh don't worry! I can actually feel my body this time and..." said Sophie as she places her head back on and it stays on, "Wow, it even stays on! I can be a head any time!"

Wendy smiles and said, "Well, I can't let you have all the fun."

Wendy got a sword out of her magic hat which surprises Sophie. Though Sophie is more shocked when Wendy sliced her head off and caught it with ease.

"Ta da!" said Wendy's head.

Sophie's claps as Wendy puts her head back on. Now the two are kind of in the same boat.

"Now both of us can take our heads off with no problems what so ever." said Wendy.

"I can't wait to see what's unfold for us now." said Sophie.
