Vocaloids are iconic mascots that are just programs that just sings for you. It grew so popular that merchandise is bound to be sold. Anything absurd about these anime programs are being sold. Especially android versions of them.

Due to the fact that the technology was expansive, vocaloid androids were only sold as heads with a limited selection of Hatsune Miku, Rin Kagamine, and Meiko Sakine. Here is story of a store in a mall that sells these heads.

The heads are capable of feelings with their AI or what not and they can't cause any trouble since they don't have any bodies or internet capabilities. All these heads or the limited supply of three do is sit there trying to grab the attention of people.

"Please buy me!" said Miku's head.

"I'm cute, take me!" shouted Rin's head.

"I'm pretty good too. I'm one of the first vocaloids for crying out loud." said Meiko's head.

"Hey girls, why are we born as heads while the real us gets bodies?" asked Miku's head.

"Well making bodies for androids like us is expensive. Sadly there are more pros for us being heads for consumers than us with bodies." Meiko's head said sadly.

"Don't fret girls. We are adorable heads." said Rin's head.

"I guess so. It will be a matter of time someone notices us." said Miku's head.

The heads waited for what feels like hours. Closing time was approaching as the heads worry about another day of failure. They yearn for a home for someone to carry them around and have do something other than sit at a shelf all day.

Luckily, a girl in a Meiko cosplay found these heads. "Wow, they have these here and it's really cheap. Though I can only afford one."

"Pick me! Your dressing up as me and we can be like twins." said Meiko's head.

"I'm the cute one!" shouted Rin's head.

"Please take me." Miku asked politely.

"Hmm." the cosplayer stares. With little time that she has, she immediately took Miku's head.

"What?!" shouted Meiko's head.

"Oh man, I wasn't cute enough." moaned Rin's head as she lies on her side. The moment looks like this: quad2_gift1

"Thank you so much. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer." said Miku's head as she blushed. The Diva's head took one last look of her friends and said, "Bye girls. I'll miss you."

"Wait! You'll never be happy without me! You hear me!" shouted Meiko's head as the customer left. It was hopeless.

Closing time strikes as an employee puts Rin's head on the shelf properly. Meiko's head looks at Rin's head as her only companion until one of them gets bought.

"Wanna hear a knock knock joke?" asked Rin's head.

"Might as well." said Meiko's head.

"Knock knock."

"Who's there?"

"Me."

"Me who"

"Miku left the door."

"That joke made me more depress about my bodiless life." said Meiko's head, "I'm sleeping."

The robot head closed her eyes while Rin looks bored, "Come on Meiko, don't leave me alone. How about we play I-spy? I spy something starting with H."

Meiko with her eyes closed, "It's head isn't it."

"No, yes. I meant uh..." Rin's head lied until she saw a box that has something to do with a ham sandwich, "A ham sandwich."

Meiko's head open her eyes and glares at Rin's head. "I know you meant head because no one is stupid enough to leave a ham sandwich here, your looking at the ham sandwich maker in front of us. Heck why are we sold in a random store instead of those anime ones. We look like anime characters for crying out loud."

"Sorry. I was just bored. I'm a cute head, but its so boring to be one. All we can do is sit and talk. We can sing, but we need people to input data in us. Our creator didn't bother to install a demo. I also miss Miku now. She would talk to me often while you do your own thing." whined Rin's head.

"I miss Miku too, she was a dear friend and I hope she's in a better place." said Meiko's head, "Though I would like to go to sleep please."

"Fine." said Rin's head as she closed her eyes. Meiko's head did so too and waited for the morning.

In the morning, Meiko and Rin's head waited for a customer. They both smile to look their best as they watch as a lot of people walk pass them. They are placed at a lower shelf so that's expected.

"It marvels me on how do people not freak out about talking disembodied heads?" asked Meiko's head.

"Maybe they are into that burger grill over there. Mmm. Burgers." said Rin's head.

"Rin, we are robotic heads. We can't eat, even if we have bodies." said Meiko's head.

"Still, it smells good and I want some." said Rin's head.

"Your right. We could smell or taste." said Meiko's head, "But where will the food go?"

Suddenly a random hatch open behind Rin's head as she found a way to eat now.

"FEED ME! FEED ME!" said Rin's head.

"Don't you want to be bought you moron?!" said Meiko's head.

"I wanna try the burger samples!" said Rin's head.

Apparently a kid saw Rin's head as the head look at the kid's sample.

"You want this, here. Have a bite." said the boy.

Rin's head took a bite of the sample while the boy ate the rest. The head cheered as she tasted food for the first time, "YUMMY!"

The boy manage to attract other people as they thought it would be fun to feed the head. Meiko's head was ignored and was annoyed that Rin's head is getting all that attention.

"Moron." said Meiko's head.

"Hey, you look lonely and your cheap too." said a person.

Meiko's head looked up and saw a guy who felt sorry for her. The guy held onto the head as the head blushed.

"Are you going to buy me?" asked Meiko's head.

"Yeah. I'm a fan of you. You are just so underrated." said the guy.

"Finally, someone who understands." said Meiko's head as she turns to say bye to Rin's head, "Hey Rin! I got myself a buyer. It was nice meeting you!"

Rin's head try to look at Meiko's head as she smiled. Looks like Rin is going to get bought soon too. Well at least these heads will have a home and sing and talk for their owners since they are robotic divas.
