Nina is a girl who started working part time at a bowling alley. She went off to the place after school, but was nervous since her role is something that not everybody would expect. She went to her locker room and put her stuff in the locker all dressed up in her uniform.

Nina went to the back with a strange looking machine with a hole that is the same size as a regular head. The girl puts her head in as she felt numb while the machine rang. After much noise, the girl open her eyes and found herself in a box.

She could not feel her body nor could she even have one. She is just a head in a box. however, her face was rounder and her hair was in a style that helps her look like a ball.

She saw her manager come in and take the box that she was in. The boss said, "Hey Nina, you did a good job on your first day. Good luck today."

"Yes sir." said Nina nervously.

"Something wrong?"

"Just scared is all."

"Don't be. It's your job to be a ball and take to people. The reason why we have this head service is because people find it fun to be able to talk to a bowling ball that encourages them."

"I understand."

Nina was then giving to a girl that was waiting by the counter. The bowling ball head looks at her temporary owner and smiled, "Hi, my name is Nina. Good luck today."

"Thank you." the girl said nervously.

"Is there something wrong?" asked Nina.

"Well, I'm worried about making a fool out of myself." said the girl.

"Look, I'm nervous about being your ball too. It's scary rolling through those lanes and failing the player at the moment."

"Really?"

"Yeah, I guess we are in the same plane."

"Well at least there is someone I can talk to."

At the lanes, it was the girl's turn. She held Nina's head as the head felt the girl's arms trembling.

"Calm down. Just look forward and roll me." assured Nina.

"I don't know if I can." said the girl.

"You can do it. I'm scared and so are you, but we need to go through this together." Nina said with a smile.

The smile gave the girl some courage as she rolled Nina's head. The force felt like a breeze as Nina went really fast. The head felt that she is sort of used to this already. She just went with her current state and manage to get the girl a strike.

When Nina returned to her owner, she smiled as the girl looked happy. Nina finally got someone to strike and they kept at it for the rest of the day.
