"This is my big break." said Valerie.

The teen is preparing her first day as an actress for a commercial. She enters a studio filled with sets and props and met up with the director who looked excited to meet her.

"Val! I'm so glad to see you. Listen, today you are going to be a bodiless head for this commercial." said the director.

"Like that Blue Shield commercial." asked Valerie.

"Yeah. Though we are not going to use green screen, but something more realistic." said the director.

Valerie then felt hands on her head as she looks back and saw a girl around her age that looks as if she know magic. Before Valerie can even reply, she found that her head popped off. She felt numb from the neck down as she looked below and saw her headless body.

"HUH! Is this what you mean by realistic?" asked Valerie.

"Yep. We can't use green screen and using regular props is too cheap so we hired a magician that would do the job." said the director.

Valerie had her head set on a table as people put some makeup on her and prepare for the commercial. After a few shots and takes, the director took her head and gave it to her body.

"That was odd. So how can I put myself back together?" asked Valerie.

"Easy." said the magician who appeared, "Just put it on."

Valerie did as she was told as she felt her arms and legs again. The magician giggled as she said, "However, you did so well today that you might be a head actress again later."

"What?! I don't like being only a head." whined Valerie.

"But you're the first and best. Another thing is that you can take off your heads if you want. Just pull and it comes off." mocked the magician.

Valerie tested it and her head came off like that.

"I'm regretting my life choices." said Valerie.

"Cheer up Val, you're going to be famous." said the director.
