Well this just in, I found the head of Alex from a retirement home, but the strange part is that she hasn't aged a bit. From what she told me, this is a continuation.

Alex's head was stuck in her restroom and heard a bunch of people coming into her apartment. From the looks of it, it was filled with bodies only as there was no talking. The music was really loud as Alex's head could not stand for this anymore.

"Could you turn down the music?! You're giving me a headache." shouted the head.

It was a very wild jazz melody that was loud enough for the whole apartment building to hear it. Alex's head spend the whole being stuck while the bodies partied without her.

It lasted for the whole night until it became silent. Alex's head looked around with as much as she can and said, "Finally some peace and quiet."

Her alarm from her room rang as Alex's head made a pouting expression.

"I wish I can get dress for work, but I'm just a head. At least I got my hat on." said the head.

Suddenly, she heard someone coming into the room. It was a rather big muscular body in a suit. It's as if this guy owned a big business that ran the world. The body spotted Alex's head as the head looked afraid.

"I'm sorry if I bothered you. I'll just stay here and..." said Alex's head before the body picks her up and puts her on.

"That was out of nowhere, but I got hands again!" shouted the woman headed guy.

Alex reached for the pocket to see an ID and was shocked to see what she found. The man's ID has his photo faded and she can only make out one word. Monroe.

"Your name is Monroe, right." Alex asked the body.

Suddenly her new body took control of her arm with a thumbs up.

"Well until we find your head, I guess you can stick with me. You be my body and I'll get you your head. Deal." said Alex.

Suddenly the body had a mind of it's own as it went to find paper and a pen. It wrote, "I prefer you to be my head. You look cute and strong and my old head was a criminal."

"That's sweet, but I can't out in public attached to you." said Alex.

The body wrote, "Your mine now."

Alex blew the top of her hair and sighed and agreed, "Fine, but I better get to work."

Alex then walked out of her apartment and found the whole place is in a mess. There were heads laying on the floor either looking afraid, bored, or sleeping. The woman headed guy tried not to step on any of them.

She walked through the streets as it looked as if everybody evacuated. She was a bunch of freaks around the area with nobody in their right bodies. She found some people like her. There were two headed people either with the same gender or not. Either way, there was a variety.

It was like walking through a carnival for Alex as she tries to get used to her new heavy and muscular body. She looks at her fist and could not believe that the body she has is a monster of sorts.

When she got to work, she headed to meet her manager only to find the whole building to be empty. She looked around as papers were all over the place with furniture in an unorthodox mess. Then she heard a cry asked, "Is anyone there?"

Alex recognizes the voice and found the head of someone familiar. She found a woman with glasses and a brown pony tail and as old as Alex. Alex held her by the hair as the head looked surprised.

"Doris! You're a head." said Alex.

"Alex, I'm so glad to see you. I've been stuck here since last night's party." said Doris.

"Party?" asked Alex.

"You see, everybody was losing their heads, trading them and left while stealing some drinks and decapitating the cops. I was just left here since I'm just the left over." said Doris.

"No your not. Your as cute as I am. I can't find you a body, but I think you can borrow one." said Alex.

"If that's the case, can you get me a pretty one?" asked the head.

"Whatever you say." said Alex as she tuck the head of her friend under her arm and left the building.

As they got out, she was surprised to see the mess around the streets.

"War broke out again?" asked Doris.

"Not really. Feeling alright down there?" asked Alex.

"I can't feel my toes." said Doris.

Suddenly without any control, Alex's arms attaches Doris' head next to Alex becoming conjoint.

"Sweet mother of God! I wanted a body, but not this." said Doris.

"I guess this is our life for a while." said Alex.

So the conjoint woman walked to the streets, accepting this new life.

...

That's all Modern Day Alex go to say for me for now. At least we get to know how she met her husband. Until next time then.
