Welcome back. As you may see here, people losing their heads is nothing new. Just one even during the late 2000's is when people had their bodies go out of control. I was one of the few that was spared of this fate. Sadly, I am also one of the few that knew too much.

As if turns out that some of these events of NBM is caused by fate, traditions, and genes. You have heard stories of people losing their heads and parts, buy they mostly happen today. What if I told you that what you learn in History class plays a role?

Here is another story of NBM from the past.

Around the 1800's or before, I am not sure. I based this on some files I could find. Any who, this takes place when Samurais were still a thing in Japan. We will follow one Samurai who desired to fight without killing.

The name is unclear and I am basing this on the images I found. I call him based on some Japanese cartoons that I saw. Um, I call him Yamato. He was best at killing, but it is the only fact about him that he dread.

He was taking a walk one day looking depressed. He complained, "Those people must of had families. Damn it! I forgot, I killed them too. Although this is for the sake of my kingdom, I... Damn it!"

"I got an alternative." said an eerie voice.

The Samurai looked behind and saw a beautiful woman with long flowing purple hair.

"You don't look Japanese and you look more like the Western people. Yet, you know how to speak my language." Yamato said in fear.

"I travel a lot. You said you don't want to kill. I have an alternative." said the woman as she presents him a sword, "This will let you defeat your enemies without kill them. Though I want to warn you. Decapitating them is not recommended."

"Why?" asked Yamato.

"It has the power to create chaos in a village, but at least no blood shed shall be spilled." said the woman.

"So I can eliminate an army if I behead someone." said the Samurai.

"Yes, but also yourself and your soldiers if you are not careful. Not only that, it will make the sword hungry for necks. I advise you to remember that." said the Witch.

"How can I be sure that this is no trick?" asked Yamato.

"Slash me in the chest and feel my pulse. I will live yet defeated. My wounds will heal immediately afterwards." said the woman.

Yamato did as he was told and what happen to the woman was true. She fell, but there was no blood. The Samurai grinned that he can serve his lord without having to get his hands dirty.

...

We move onto a raid where the Samurai had defeated many soldiers, but never did he slash off a part of them. His friends were surprised on how he manage to win battles without any blood from him.

"Say, how is it that your blade remains clean after you killed someone?" asked one of Yamato's friends.

"It is an enchanted sword that lets me defeat enemies without death. You know how I hate killing people." said Yamato.

"Enchanted. Bah. You're just being modest." said the friend.

The man never decapitated anyone as promised, but one day, he was forced to. He was order to behead a young woman first and the rest of her people, and no other method was allowed.

"It's only one time. What's the worse that can happen?" the man said to himself.

The man slashed the head of the woman. He felt like he was going to puke and wonder what can the sword do to save this woman's life.

"Eh! I can't move!"

Yamato looks down and saw the woman's head was still alive. The Samurai looks at his sword in fear as everyone around him accuse the woman to be a monster. Who can blame them?

"Kill it with fire!" cried a kid.

"Run away!" said a villager, but before the villager can run, he felt his hands touch his head and pulls it off.

"Help me! I'm cursed!" cried the villager's head as he was thrown and the body ran off.

It started to happen to everyone around him as their bodies take their heads off and do as they please. The bodies party while the heads panic and cry. Yamato sat on his knees and cried, "What have I done?!"

Behind him was the same woman before except her head was under her neck, "I warned you. Though at least you have your heads on your soldiers."

"Please, return them back to normal!" begged Yamato.

"I'm afraid I cannot. It's up to their bodies now. You must face the consequences. It seems that your sword wants more necks. I suggest you go out hunting for more before it wants yours. Even after death, it will seek out more necks around the world. Only the wielder can stall it." laughed the witch.

"Damn it! Damn it all!" cried the Samurai.

...

Momohime is a daughter of a lord sat in her room peacefully. She was a cute young Japanese teen with a pink kimono. It was a normal night, but it was disturbed by some screaming. She knew that she needs to hide, but found a shadow of a man pulling his head off and slamming it on the floor.

The girl shirked at the violence, but screamed louder when she heard the head spoke from her paper wall. It was all a silhouette, but she can see what is happening.

The one who was responsible broke through the wall and stares at the girl. He was none other than the infamous Atama o katto otoko or the man who cuts heads. As others called him in the past, Yamato.

"If you are going to kill me, then please spare the rest." begged Momohime.

"I wish I can, but I'm cursed to do so. My blade is hungry for necks, not blood. Do not fret, your family is alive. They are just heads." said the Samurai who used to be Yamato.

"Cursed?" asked the girl.

"I want to die, but who will look after my blade?" asked the man with some sadness in his eyes.

"Maybe I should. I think I can figure out a way to end your curse. Besides, I want to see the world." said Momohime.

"How noble? At least I can find some redemption." the man said as he pulled out another blade and said his final words, "I need you to cut your head with my main sword and have your body place your head on my body. That way, you will be strong enough to carry my burden. My body shall teach you the way of the sword. In the meanwhile, try to end this curse." begged the man.

He cuts his head with a blade that is not enchanted and dies. His blood surrounds his corpse as Momohime cries. From his words, she can tell that he needs her. Her family and friends are doomed to be bodiless beings.

She decided to do as he requested to prevent anymore damage. She took the enchanted blade and held her hair. With one slash, she felt the cold metal go through her neck as she can't feel her body any more.

Her own body held her head with both of her hands and showed her headless state.

"Oh my. I cannot believe what I am seeing. I am a head, yet I live." said Momohime's head.

The head was turned around and looks at the Samurai's corpse. "Body, put me on that body. I have a mission to fulfill."

The body did as her head commanded and placed it on the corpse. Momohime felt muscle in her new body as she flexed and stood up. She grabbed the enchanted blade and sheathed it.

"I don't know who you are, but I will not let what happen to my family happen to others." declared the girl.

She walked out of her home that is filled with headswapped or bodiless friends and family. She is not sure what to do, but to go out and find a way to end this.

From afar, the same witch from before looked at the home that is filled with head chaos.

"I knew this will happen eventually. Time to have fun." said the witch's head as her body twirled her hair with glee.

...

There's more, but I need to find more documents. I did find some diaries if you want. One of them belongs to the Victorian Era and the other takes place during those times when movies were black and white. Then again, want to know what you want to hear. You have to speak up.
