The wind howled, the ground was torn asunder and Anankos’ wrath raged on, devastating everything in its path and range. The maddened god had rambled and grieved about being shunned and abandoned, and now it was furious at mankind for daring challenge it. It had been a long and weary road ever since Corrin had followed Azura into the Bottomless Canyon, but they had managed not only to get out and survive, but to gather allies from both Nohr and Hoshido, uniting them to face the puppet master that had acted behind the scenes. Challenging a god would prove difficult, but if they had managed to walk all the way up to that point, united, they would be able to conquer the threat.
They had been proven so very wrong, as Azura and Corrin were isolated from the rest in a floating piece of rock, one that slowly drifted towards the vortex that consumed all. However, the deity had other plans for them, which involved taking care of them personally. Azura was on her knees, badly wounded, and holding in her arms an even worse wounded Corrin, helpless to do anything as the massive drake got a hold of the rock, approaching it to its mouth and the orb that inhabited it, the glowing red eyes of the orb looking at them with palpable ire and disgust. It charged its attack, the orb glowing while it prepared the killing blow, but what neither the deity nor the two women expected was for two silhouettes to stand in the way of the attack. Corrin was barely conscious, but Azura could see them both, her eyes wide open at the display. One of them a brunette with her long hair tied in a ponytail and dressed in a regal outfit of white, gold and blue, while the other, similar in build, had her light blue hair cut short while being dressed in a much more revealing and exotic black gold and blue outfit. She knew who they were, in fact they had been enemies not so long ago, but that they were standing between them and certain doom touched her heart.

- So be it then!

The deity spat those words at the four of them, even more furious at them for the betrayal of its supposed puppets. Neither woman spoke, merely standing between their end and the two defeated younger women, but when the end neared, they did run to them, hugging them in such a way that they would receive the full blast on their backs while trying to protect Azura and Corrin. There was nothing said as the light intensified and eventually engulfed them completely, their silhouettes and forms dissipating into nothingness as they faced the full furious might of the former god of wisdom, the four of them being consumed into oblivion as their consciousness faded. Fate, however, had other plans for the four of them.

&&

Azura slowly opened her eyes, keeping quiet as she tried to acknowledge her surroundings. She was in a room, tucked in a bed and covered in smooth and silky blankets. Death and vaporization into oblivion definitely did not have this outcome and after feeling her heart pound in her chest, she concluded that, somehow, she was most definitely alive. And she wasn’t the only one, as Corrin lied in another bed next to her, and much to her surprise there were other two occupied beds across their own. The ones that were in these last two left her wide eyed, as she watched the two women who had tried to strike them down and then try to save them rest peacefully. On one bed was who she had considered her mother during her time in Hoshido, and in the other a figure she had not seen in a light that was not the battlefield in a very long time. Getting out of the bed, she approached Corrin and checked her pulse. She was very much alive, and if the bandages that covered both of their wounds were anything to go by, someone had taken very good care of them.
Leaving Corrin be, Azura approached the other two women, standing in silence gazing at them. Mikoto and Arete were unconscious, but she could see their chests rising with their breathing. She approached them to check something, not really knowing what else to do, but a voice caught her attention.

- They are alive. They just need rest and time to recover.

The origin of the voice was something she would have never imagined to see, or rather, someone she would have never imagined. Or both options could be too. Leaning against the wall, having kept silent, was Camilla, eldest princess of Nohr, or at least someone that looked like her. She looked like she was made of purple metal, the colour of her hair having been extended to the whole of her and having changed texture, but she looked just like her. Her appearance, her pose leaning against the wall with her arms crossed ad even her neutral expression just looked identical, but she didn’t know where Camilla had ended up after the disaster at the canyon, and Corrin was even less likely to do so. But still…

- Camilla?

- That’s me.

She couldn’t tell why or how, but hearing her speak again felt unreal, and her legs gave away, letting her fall. However, Camilla, or this Camilla, acted swiftly and caught her before she hit the ground, holding her in her arms where Azura realized that she really was made of metal, since she felt like it.

- You need to rest.

Azura was in no place or situation to protest as Camilla carried her back and laid her on the bed next to Corrin, while covering her again and looking over her with concern that was visible despite her new appearance, which earned a small smile from the songstress.

- What’s so funny?

- Oh, it’s nothing. You may look different Camilla, but you are still you.

Camilla gave her a small honest smile, and then proceeded to sit down next to her, unconsciously running a hand over Azura’s forehead and hair.

- It’s not as simple, but yes, I’m still me, so to say. I would like to explain it once, but those two – said pointing at the two women that rested with them- are going to need a while to recover. I will explain to you and Corrin once she is awake.

- …Camilla…?

Azura didn’t know what to expect, but she did not see Camilla’s reaction coming at all. Even if it was for one brief moment the metallic woman seemed to freeze on the spot, and her face, despite maintaining a neutral expression gave away what could be considered as… discomfort?

- You’re awake.

-… I have been for some minutes.

- You should have told me. I would have checked on you or brought someone to do so.

- No need…

- Yes, you do! You four were gravely wounded when… you appeared here.

The sudden halt in her words and the shift to a quieter tone made them realize that them being alive was nothing short of a miracle, more so if they considered they had ended in a safe place, under the watchful eye of someone they knew. Corrin tried to reach for her sister’s hand, trying to cheer her up, but she got no reaction from the metallic woman, which worried both Azura and Corrin, the older sister usually being overly doting on her.

- Camilla please, whatever happened, please tell us. We might…

- Help?

The one she spoke with and her gaze gave away that she still harboured some sadness, one that had left some deep roots. And against Azura’s better judgment, Corrin kept pressing and insisting, until Camilla gave in. She told them about her version of Corrin’s desertion and betrayal, the invasion of Nohr and the eventual defeat of the kingdom, with all that came with it all the way to her eventual end on that world. She held nothing back, giving a painfully accurate description of how her whole world came crashing down on her, and the more she talked the more both Corrin and Azura realized how much of a fickle thing fate could be and the toll it could take, only then realizing all that had been left behind at the mercy of a rampaging god.
After that silence set in, weighing the words that had been spoken. However, Corrin’s heart remained unchanged, as she got up to her feet and hugged her older sister trying to mutter some sort of apology while she tried not to break down. Camilla returned the gesture earnestly, squeezing her younger sister against her while they tried to amend a relationship that fate had certainly messed with.

- You don’t have to apologize little sister. It wasn’t you, and you had it rough on your own.

Getting up herself, Azura tried to come with something to say, anything, but before she could do so Camilla pulled her in the hug too. It wasn’t exactly what she had gone through, but she could definitely relate, and both younger women would have to mend their relationships too, although the other parts were still currently asleep. But still, it felt good to know that there was someone nearby they could completely rely on, and that kept a watchful eye over them while they healed back.

The next days had gone by slowly. Camilla introduced them to the inhabitants of the fort while they slowly healed completely and let the information sink in. Not only were the surroundings absolutely idyllic, painting a comfortable scenery bathed in gentle sunlight, but the women that accompanied Camilla were just as unique. Their nude bodies, made of metal, seemed impossibly smooth and shiny while retaining their full capabilities, comfortably showing them around without any sort of shame. So they had been far from bored, but that didn’t make the uneasiness go away, Azura and Corrin having tried to come clean with their mothers multiple times only for the conversation to die out, but as Camilla’s explanation sunk in and they felt more and more attracted to her and her lover, they knew they couldn’t delay it anymore. So, Corrin, with Azura on tow, was actively searching for both of them. After receiving indications from two of the metallic women, they finally found them sitting near the stream. They were dressed in scantily, much like they were, as suggested by the metallic maroon woman… Loki was it? So that they would grow accustomed to it.
However, the quiet conversation both women were having died down when they spotted their daughters, and the reaction was reciprocal, as Corrin felt her throat dry as they sat next to them. They stood like this for several minutes as they tried to muster the courage to speak or they waited for someone else to do so.

- …Thank you.

The first words that Corrin uttered caught the older women completely by surprise, and Azura too in a way.

- Pardon?

- I wanted to say thank you, for… saving us.

Silence took over again, as Mikoto and Arete let the words sink, Mikoto’s façade starting to break down.

- I know what we did on Valla, but-

Corrin was not able to finish as her mother hugged her effusively, burying her face on her daughter’s shoulder. Corrin could only return the gesture, wrapping her mother in a loving embrace and letting her vent out while she apologized for the fighting back on Valla, wailing how she wasn’t in control and was nothing but a puppet back then before the control the god held over her loosened and tried to protect her. Azura and Arete’s interaction was much colder, as they awkwardly tried to open themselves to each other while trying not to pay much attention to the other two.

- …Mother.

- Azura. I’m…

- I know. I know you didn’t mean what you said back then.

Arete sighed, visibly relaxing as her daughter forgave their previous encounters on the battlefield. But she didn’t want to fall short at the possibility of making amends with her, more so considering the expressivity of Mikoto with her own daughter. So, she pulled Azura in a somewhat clunky and awkward hug, one which Azura answered in a similar way, not exactly used to such displays of love and affection. Nevertheless, it was a heartfelt hug, one that had been delayed for much too long.

- I’m sorry to have left you at such a young age Azura. You have grown into a magnificent woman.

- I missed you mother.

The interaction between the blue haired women was less visual than Mikoto’s, but just as sincere. They had been too much time apart, but perhaps now they could mend the relationship between them. If the offer that Camilla and Kiran hade made them turned out to be true, they wouldn’t have to worry about drifting apart ever again, and it was starting to sound much too good and tempting, eventually the four of them agreeing to it.
The rest of the day went at the same pace as the others. Time didn’t seem to flow at all, the four of them merely enjoying each other’s presence in the sun and the grass, while slowly started to look forward to the moment they finally could be together for good. Such a decision might have been strange in Hoshido or Nohr, but not in Camilla’s realm, and it could finally give them a place they could really belong to without fear of sticking out.

&&

Corrin was still trying to assimilate her new reality. The four of them had joined Camilla and Kiran’s posse, and now looked the part. The night when they had transformed had been to amazing to put in words, and some of that pleasure still tingled and resonated through her new shiny body. The pleasure already was almost too much to bear before transforming, but when they did it had taken the concept of pleasure to a new height. The kisses, the caresses, the licking and overall lovemaking had been almost too much to taken in. But they had enjoyed it, thoroughly. Now Azura, Arete, Mikoto and Corrin herself now were made of blue metal, a different shade each but showing their bond. Arete and Azura shared a similar shade of blue with her mother, with the minor colour difference of Arete’s shade being darker, while the same applied to Corrin and Mikoto, although this time it was her mother who had a lighter shade of her blue. Loki in particular had complimented them in their new selves, the maroon woman keeping her overly loving attitude but giving them enough room to get used to.
What they had gotten used to with stunning speed was to walking around completely nude. It wasn’t exactly hard nor uncomfortable to do so when the rest did so naturally, but it made much harder for Corrin keeping her eyes away from those smooth and shiny bodies. The four of them were just as fantastic, their blue bodies reflecting the light and giving them the same elegance and grace as the rest.
It was a shame that today was raining though, the first time that had done so according to Camilla, Kiran and Loki, who had been the longest in the realm. However, keeping with the general mood, the storm wasn’t as violent as it was gentle. Thunder rolled with a deep gentle sound while the rain fell gently, almost ethereally. Watching the storm pass was just as mesmerizing as watching a fire crackle, and it had done so so much with her that she didn’t notice Azura until she laid a hand on her shoulder.

- Are you alright?

- Yes, just… looking to the rain, I guess.

- It does have a beauty of its own.

- You could say that about everything in this world.

- Oh my, did some of Loki’s attitude latch on?

Corrin looked at Azura, feigning anger. It was rare to see her bring up her sense of humour, but she was free to do so in their new home. However, Azura had other plans in mind, and she quickly explained to Corrin what she had planned. By the time she finished her brief explanation, Corrin looked at her both grinning and confused.

- Are you sure Loki’s attitude did rub off to you…?

- Well, she did come up with the idea…

It didn’t surprise Corrin. Despite the short time they had been with them, they had learned quickly that sultry could perfectly be one of Loki’s second names. But she did like the idea. Quickly following Azura, both women found Arete and Mikoto, who were silently contemplating the rain much like they had done before. Before they could properly react, both their daughters took their hands and towed them outside in the rain, leaving both women confused while the four of them got soaked in the falling rain. Much to their surprise, Azura started to sing, a song that had taught her so very long ago. Her singing was flawless, only to be followed by Corrin, who somehow had learned the second verse that Mikoto knew. She could use some practice in her singing, but it wasn’t half bad for someone’s first time. Both Mikoto and Arete joined in, the four of them singing in chorus a song whose meaning had long been lost to time and fate, slowly singing and dancing while they danced down the rain. The singing and dancing of four of them, their wet metallic bodies and the light and water they reflected formed quite the enthralling image, one the rest of the women were more than pleased to look at, silently admiring the quartet. Florina and Lyn, Rhea and Byleth stood together, while Anna tried to scheme a way to monetize what she was seeing while admiring it. Kiran for her part snuggled against Camilla, the purple metallic woman being more than willing to let her while Loki pressed her big breasts against her back and caressed the curves of them both. They really were magnificent, all of them, and she might have found another way to realize her previous ultimate goal, even if it was vastly different to what she had first envisioned. Not that she minded though, in fact she would give to every single new arrival and partner of her queens’ metallic posse the love she knew they deserved. And she would enjoy it thoroughly.
