“We can win this, I know we will!”

The moment he spoke those words some of them knew he had jinxed it, and the devastation of the being’s next attack proved them correct, wiping out almost every single of the fighters assembled to fight it and its escort of floating hands. Whether anyone had managed to survive the onslaught was unknown to them before the light took them. After that there was only darkness.
This darkness however didn’t have to be necessarily a bad thing, since they existed in an unchanging state of perpetuity, like a dream from which they couldn't wake up from. So, when the golden luminous substance enveloped them it was quite the turn for the situation. The liquid enveloped them, running all over their immobile forms while it slowed to a halt under them, forming a perfect doppelganger of them that mirrored their situation. After that the lifeless doppelganger was unceremoniously dropped to the ground, ready to be reclaimed by some wandering spirit. However, for four of the would-be fighters, it had something different in store.

Bayonetta, the black sheep of the umbran witches, was not having a pleasurable time. She had been pulverized by an attack she had been unable to evade and now she was completely immobile, the chains of light that surrounded her figure adding insult to the situation. Not only she wasn’t able to break free or attempt to do so, but the luminous chains made it clear that she would not be able to get away even if she could move around. But the situation changed when she felt, some what dizzily, her pedestal warming and lighting up, engulfing her in a bright light and blinding her for some seconds as the light got brighter and brighter. When it dimmed, she wasn’t alone anymore, as standing near her were other three women; a long-haired blonde, a green haired woman with even longer hair and a second blonde, although she seemed much younger than the rest of them. She recognized them immediately, the bounty hunter that had tried to shoot down the incoming attack, the princess that was a magical prodigy and one of the bearers of the triforce and the goddess of light. That the four of them had been defeated so easily, one of them being a goddess, spoke volumes of the power of their foe, but their surrounding immediately got their attention, or, more exactly, the lack of it. They were standing in what seemed to be a never-ending sea of clouds, the mantle of pale clouds stretched as far as their eyes could see, never ending and not allowing them to see anything of what lied under them, but the thing that broke the complete and total calm uniformity of the clouds was It.

By itself it was a sight to behold, an alien creature that, in other circumstances might had even a semblance of beauty and grace, an ethereal being that attracted all eyes anywhere it went. But, as spectacular as it was, It was not as big as it had first seemed. Sure, that massive wings that it had gave it quite the volume and imposing figure, but besides the wings, It was nothing but a spherical core of light.

Before any of them could do anything, whether it was attack or try to flee to a temporary refuge, they found out that their bodies felt heavy, their movements sluggish and restricted and had no voice to speak. All of them had fought after collecting the metal cube, so that wouldn't be much of a hassle, but moving so slowly and not being able to communicate made things considerably more difficult. So when it spoke, they had no choice but listen to what It had to say.

“You are formidable fighters, and I am in need of your skills.”

It spoke directly in their minds. Its voice, or voices, was calm and soothing, speaking sometimes with a single voice while other times it sounded like a chorus speaking.

“However, to accomplish this task, I will provide you of what you need, as you are currently not suited to accomplish it. And in your past, I have seen exactly what is necessary for you.”

And the lights engulfed her again. However, this time there was something different about this torrent of light. Unlike the previous (and only) blast this one did not vaporize her on the spot, but she could feel something, and she was sure that she wasn’t coming out of this unscathed. The light felt like an unstoppable river, engulfing her whole and going both around her form and through her body, and whatever it was doing it was happening from the inside out. She found this out as she was no longer worried for the light, which she should have been. The light bathed her, cleansing her and giving her more power, power which she could use to defeat this monstrosity. Perhaps it wasn’t so powerful if it had made such a mistake.

But why should she though? It was giving her a purpose, a real purpose beside the eternal fight she was stuck with. Was fighting it the right course of action? What would happen if she snuffed the light out?
It was then when she noticed that the changes weren’t limited to her physical body; The thing was breaking down her mind at the same time it changed her body. Just as her outfit was peeled away her mind was being tweaked and modified. The light was washing everything away, leaving only a bright, blinding light on its place. And the witch found herself losing the battle. Her mind refused to fight, and any will that remained was steadily being washed away, leaving its place for the grand task she was about to receive. It would lead the reality to a new, bright future. A future filled with light and order, where everything would be as it should be, as it should have always have been. As her mind gave in to the overwhelming assault of the light, taking its place, the physical changes sped up.

Her forearms and feet were pulverized, leaving nothing in their place, but It would not allow for its most trusted servants to become useless. Four glowing orbs formed where her hands and feet should have been, these orbs of energy quickly forming small stone pieces around them. The stone around her ankles morphing into two high-heeled shoes, the heels resembling two firearms. They looked and felt familiar, but she couldn’t recall where she had seen them. The stone around her wrists formed into two sleek hands that took on a golden colour that matched her new heels. However, her hands and feet were not the only physical change that had happened to her, noticing the rest of the changes as the light subsided. Her body has retained her curvy figure while taking on a pure white colour, she would even dare say that It had made said curves more pronounced. A pattern of gold went up and down her body, golden bracelets being engraved in her arms and legs, the ones that neared her pronounced rear being particularly noticeable. Another golden decoration was on her torso, and although this one went around her it was much more discreet than the one that was right under her breasts, framing her mounds and joining back together at the base of her neck only to form a golden necklace on her neck. All of this was joined together by a slim golden chain, which went from her neck to her back, going down and between her breasts and her nether regions, the chain giving her pleasure in her most intimate parts. Her hair also felt different, her short black hair having grown into four long strands that mimicked a white plumage. As for her head, her upper face was now encased in a tall helmet. Matching the golden pattern present in all of her body and leaving only her mouth and jaws visible, having the same pristine white as the rest of her visible skin. As the final change, a luminous halo-like symbol appeared over her. She was ready.
She could feel Master watching. Not watching her physique, but her very spirit and soul. It was satisfied, and knowing this brought her immense joy, as well as a burning sensation on her celestial loins.

If this was what Master had in store for them it would have been foolish to reject such a privilege. Not to worry though, as the other three women would soon be redone to Master’s wishes. They stood impassibly, not moving an inch as the four of them felt the next torrent of light approach the blonde bounty hunter, who, despite being completely immobile, gave Master one final defiant stare. Such defiance to Master should not go unpunished, and when she was ready perhaps she could beg Master to let her vent out her burning insides with her more rebellious sister. Much like it had happened to her the torrent of light engulfed her, the silhouette becoming less and less defined until she was no longer visible.

When the light faded, a new obedient servant stood before them. Her looks matched her sister, having a white skin and golden patterns all over her. Her pronounced curves had nothing to envy her sister´s and they were both virtually identical, the only difference being that her younger sister had kept her old ponytail, having taken a golden colour that matched her new self. But more importantly, although she couldn't see her eyes, she felt the feeling her younger sister had for Master, her defiance and resistance having turned into admiration and desire for obedience, standing still before Master and awaiting orders.

As Master turned its attention towards the defeated goddess of light, she decided that, although her heart and spirit were now in the right place, the previous offense could not go unpunished. She seductively walked to her and, without warning, took hold of the chain she had running between her beasts and innermost parts. Tensing it was enough to have her sister’s burning start to get out of control, the younger celestial discreetly parting her white lips to release a quiet moan. However, she would not chastise her new younger sibling further, as she felt Master considered it had been enough. Such a simple gesture and such a reaction showed both the power of Master as well as its leniency.

The light faded for the third time, and where the green haired goddess had stood before now stood their second sister. She shared the body build of both of her sisters, as well as the colour palette of white skin and golden marking. Much like the former bounty hunter, she had gotten to keep her old long mane, although it had a matching golden colour and it fell gracefully between her wing-like locks. It was also notable that, although she had as much fervour and admiration as any of them for Master, she had a cooler demeanour. She might had become the third of them, but her former wisdom and maturity had permeated on her new self. She had shed her former luminous allegiance away, embracing the role master had given her, and she would be a marvellous aide and adviser for Master, should It ever need advice.

The fourth of them, the youngest and only impure left was the blonde princess. Although she was immobile and had a completely inner expression on her face, her eyes betrayed a mixture of terror and despair. They did not understand the cause behind such emotions, as they were now willing servants of their luminous Master. Not that it mattered, as she would soon see the light of Master. The process repeated one final time, the torrent of light engulfing her as she disappeared inside the stream of pure light, only to be reborn. However, when she came out, she had certainly changed. She was now identical to her three sisters, but compared to her old self she was another being entirely. Her petite form had been replaced by one that mirrored her sisters’, having come out a tall, slender and curvy being, with a gorgeous palette of pure white and gold. Much like her two predecessors, she had gotten to keep her old hair, her golden hair flowing between the wing locks. Her worries were gone, replaced by devotion to Master and appreciation to her sisters, whom she had felt worry about her previous thoughts and feeling. Despite they had not spoken a word, they stemmed relief for their youngest, the four of them standing by ready to receive orders from Master.

However, no such order came, at least instantaneously. Master seemed to be tired, as it closed its wings around the orbs of light, slowly forming a protective shield around itself. Now being free to move, the four of them raced towards it, but their worries were washed away as the voice and its chorus resounded on their minds.

“Worry not, my loyal servants, this is merely a temporary rest in the way to mould the reality. Most of the menaces that could stop us have been eliminated and made prisoners, they currently pose no threat to us.”

“However, one menace managed to get away, somehow evading my light.”

The four of them were shown a horrific image. Something had defied their master's will by having the gall to evade its holy light, and the image showed a tiny pink puffball riding a brilliant star while it evaded the beams of light that chased it. Much to their horror, before one of the luminous beams could shoot it down, the star and the puffball riding it had somehow vanished from reality.

“This is the last remaining fighter, the last being that poses a threat to a bright and luminous future. This is why you are here. Do not underestimate it. Find it, chase it and kill it.”

“Fear not, for when you return triumphant you will have a role of great importance bestowed upon you as I recreate the universe.”

The voice and the chorus fell silent as the shield closed on the master, and the four sisters, with their mission clear set out to find and eliminate the only being that menaced the grand plan their master had.
