Well, I've had this attempt at space opera kicking around for a while, and I finally finished it as part of an effort to clear some of my half-done stories. It was inspired by some comments from one of my favourite writers, <span class="username-with-symbol u"><a class="u regular username" href="https://clancy688.deviantart.com">clancy688</a><span class="user-symbol regular" data-quicktip-text="" data-show-tooltip="" data-gruser-type="regular"></span></span>, on my story "Be All That You Can Be". (The joke about getting a silencer was his too.) I'd hoped to finish it for his birthday, but alas, real life kept getting in the way. But happy birthday anyway, good sir!
