And up they went. It was a race to see if Fantom or Laressa would disappear first, though it was a close one. Kai struggled, too flustered and eyes glazed over to escape the magical bonds and spooky, shiny fate that awaited them.
Looking on from nearby, their captor smiled. They'd be fine as they got gulped up by the shiny worms. As long as your definition of "fine" included:
- Being gulped up by incredibly tight, hungry, magically-summoned rubbery worms
- Completely encased by skintight, rubbery membrane
- Squeezed and squished and crushed, tightly compressed
- Coated from head to toe in magical rubber
- Their willpower eaten away
- Being enjoyed and used while cocooned up, crushed, and squeezed
- Utterly doomed as rubber-sealed worm food
- Eventually released as completely glossy, obedient objects
...and if so, anyone watching would agree, they'd be fine.
At least they made for a fine meal. Time to watch and see Fantom start to kick...
