Phantom is a high value target. It's only natural that she'd be chosen by an advanced encaser vacworm.
Such an entity swallows the victim up, tight, tight, tight. Seals them shut, removing all the air and absolutely squeezing captives into submission. Once they're forced into submission, the worm flexes and morphs into a proper and thorough coating.
With their mouth forced open, the worm fills and packs every hole and opening. A donut-mouth rolls open over their face, taking them over.
Phantom, as seen here, is observed just before the donut-ring fills her mouth, packs it open, and leaves her helpess. Right now you have a few precious moments as she's stretched and feels the worm gulping her down (starting at her head) until it gets in her head and takes control for later.
